**The Tech Ninja's Den: A Tour of My Home Office**
Hey guys, my name is Kevin, and I'm a YouTuber who focuses on consumer electronics and PC builds. Welcome to my home office, aka my dojo! Today, I'll be giving you a tour of the space that I've carefully curated to optimize productivity, creativity, and fun.
**The Monitor Setup**
As you can see behind me, this is my monitor setup. I've been working on getting the perfect display for editing videos, and I'm happy with how it's turned out. I've gone with a 5K iMac from Specht out, which is an amazing machine that's perfect for video editing. Below that, I have the LG Ultra Wide Quad HD monitor, which I just can't get enough of. There's something about seeing your entire timeline on screen at once that makes editing so much easier and more efficient.
**The Keyboard**
My keyboard is a Coarse Air Strafe RGB, which is not exactly the most high-tech gaming keyboard out there. However, for me, it's perfect because I'm not doing too much gaming, and I need a keyboard with brown switches that provide a good balance between feel and feedback. The extra keycap and custom backlighting are just nice touches that make this keyboard stand out.
**The Mouse**
My mouse of choice is the Logitech G502, which I've had for a while now. What I love about this mouse is its programmable buttons, which allow me to customize the behavior of my mouse to suit my specific needs. It's also got extreme battery life, which means I can use it all day without worrying about running out of juice.
**The Edified Monitors**
To the left of my desk, you'll see a pair of cheap monitors with a wood texture that I've affectionately dubbed "edified monitors." I know what you're thinking - "Kevin, why on earth would you buy a pair of cheap monitors?" But these little guys are actually pretty good, and they're perfect for recording voiceovers or playing some music while I work.
**The Audio Equipment**
Behind my desk, you'll see the Scarlett audio interface that connects to my iMac. This thing is a beast, capable of handling even the most demanding audio projects with ease. On top of the Scarlett, I've got my Samsung T1 SSD, which is perfect for editing on the go. And beneath that, you'll see a 6 terabyte Western Digital hard drive, where I backup all of my videos and system files.
**The Workstation**
My workstation is equipped with a Carl B countertop from Ikea, which I picked up after seeing it featured on Nova Tech's YouTube channel. The drawers are also Alex drawers, which add a touch of industrial chic to the space. My headphone holder is an Audio Technica branded stand, and my trusty AKG K 99 Perception headphones sit proudly on top of my desk.
**The Mic**
When I'm recording voiceovers or doing interviews, I use the AKG P 220 microphone, which sits atop a mono price stand that keeps it stable and secure. I also have an Amazon echo hidden under my desk, which is become one of my favorite features in this space - Alexa integration is game-changing!
**The Ambient Lighting**
Behind my desk, you'll see a Philip Hue lightstrip that provides the perfect ambient lighting for working. The soft glow helps me stay focused and avoid eye strain, while also adding a touch of warmth to the space.
**The Second Desk**
On the opposite side of my room, I have another workstation setup that's perfect for computer builds. This is the Apex desk, which is motorized, allowing me to work standing up or sitting down with ease. The second desk is also equipped with all the necessary tools and equipment for building and testing PCs.
**The Project Computer**
Behind the second desk, you'll see my project computer, which I've not yet finished building. Since I didn't want to clean it up too much before presenting it to you guys, I just left it as-is - a work-in-progress that showcases all the components I'm currently using.
