the poppies the most two boxes here you go three here we go what are these dad check this out so this is a brand new toy from fly catcher now thank you fly catcher they did provide these products for today's video and this is called the smarty pad wait it's the abc one that's right we can learn the abcs what else do we have here count counting three colors and what's called coding have you heard of coding no adele adele said coding i think you put on a coat is that coding no okay all right so this is a brand new product and uh wow the ages on this are from three to five so i thought it would be perfect if we had a three-year-old and a five-year-old test this three five let's do it let's do it let's do it so this has a total of 12 different games that you can play um here you have this pad that lights up in different colors you can press the buttons to interact with it i really like this because it's not like another tablet but it's a more interactive game so let's get it unboxed and see what it can do don't worry gwen you'll do yours next oh here it says pull this to remove okay let me see here's gwen dad i get a little sweet so before you try and take it out make sure you clip the packaging uh zip tie right there on the back and then it will come right out see you guys look awesome so it did say batteries weren't included it does need four double-a batteries but actually the batteries were included now i do want to mention on the back there is a few options so let's turn it off real quick so turn yours off turn off all the way down it's turning off so here we have two different options we have english and we have spanish english what do we speak english do you want to speak spanish yeah how do you speak spanish that's pretty good good job claire b too okay and then up here so we're gonna keep it in the english position and then here we have off we have um low volume and then we have high volume so that's how you turn it on so now on the front let me show you real quick so on the front turn it back over gwen so when you turn it on you're greeted with mr smarty there what should we call him um smarty is he his name smarty or we could call it preschool pad because it makes you learn that's right preschool pad have you done preschool are you are you doing preschool i'm gonna go in kindergarten you're gonna be a big kindergartener so each one of these is a different button that we can push so let me show you okay so there are four different things and each activity has four different games essentially so here see this see this that's called a microphone so that's the learning oh sorry not a microphone a microscope yeah there you go so you look through things so that's learning and then when you move it here this is games so each mode has three different games and you push this what's that dad do you know what i thought was inside the box what i could i real computer for me this is like your own personal computer you can play it whenever you want so then you can change the games by pushing the little plus right here okay so let's turn it on and do the alphabet so we're going to go to the bottom and then let's turn it on let's do the alphabet turn yours on medium all right so let's go back to the beginning let's play find the letters find the huh so that's what happens when we choose the wrong one good job you did it um you want to trade okay we can trade all right it was a bit confusing with gwen in here so we decided to go have her play with hers in the other room and now claire and i are going to jump to the coding so within each of these claire because we're on game mode you can just push this to go to a different game so it was going to play get out of the big square to make a wall and block it in so this has a motion sensor built in so watch we pick it up watch you pick it up and you gotta tilt it and as we tilt it we gotta make it so the green doesn't leave the box okay and then oh we gotta move over here down over oh good oh too far here hold it flat all right so this game is it's like a marble so we need to pick it up and tilt it again so the green's like a marble and you got to tilt it until you get to the red one okay keep trying tilt it tilt it good good tilt it up yeah you did it i got two greens i got it you'll be amazing wait do i have to get that to there yep the green all the way to the red so this looks like quite a maze tilt it forward tilt it forward tilting there we go almost almost yes all right let's do a different game let's match here letter to the picture okay letter to the picture that sounds like the word i see someone eating what letter sounds like eating you got it let's try the colors so switch this to the colors let's play memory remember where the colors are the pattern you found yellow purple it's a matching turn matching turn okay let's see if i can find so red another red green oh green all right your turn you found purple and purple you got it can you find another match this one really yeah that was yellow we both got to another match we did it so that was a pretty fun game huh so so far we've been playing a lot of the fun games now let's turn this to the learning portion and which one should we learn on we should learn on colors colors just like we were doing okay so now we're going to turn it on why not spanish i don't think i'd understand let's go let's name the colors of the rainbow rainbow oh i this is so easy red orange yellow green blue and go and violet two oh you know that so well you're just telling me last night people were getting the rainbow colors wrong but you know them all but they were like red orange yellow green blue purple that's it that's crazy i have it and a goat and a goat or indigo and a goat okay let's see so now it you can just push on the colors and it's going to teach you or show you something else in that color that's cool i like how everything animates let's move to coding and let's try out the learning on coding using the cursor at the bottom you will need to navigate the green pixel to the location of the red left okay so this is what's happening claire so see kind of like the tilting game this is similar but we don't need to tilt hang on hang on so we're going to try to get the green all the way to red there you go down down uh-oh where are you going okay so here we have down up left and right and when you're done push the green and it will go so push green and that's enter okay how do we get up to here it looks like we need to go down two so push red two or orange and then push green nice job okay now which way did we go all right now how do we get to the bottom down down down down down go did she do it you got this keep going okay how do we get to the red what you did it high five wow that's pretty cool all right let's try one more here can you do that oh this is so easy you think so let's see keep going oops so close so look you could push right one two three four five and then push up and then right one two three four five let's try it so what do we do so push right five times right uh this this one's right yep right right right right right then push up and then push right um right push right so it's right here so now let's go all the way to the end no don't push that one so one two three four five okay all right let's see if we did it push green what all the way to the end that's pretty cool so you can do it one block at a time you could do it a few blocks at a time or you could do the whole pattern and once do you think we can do it in one turn
