Nvidia GTX 980 Laptops Hands On

**Portable Gaming Powerhouses: A Closer Look at the Clevo, Aorus X7, and MSI GT72**

The world of portable gaming laptops has just gotten a whole lot more exciting with the arrival of three powerful machines: the Clevo, Aorus X7, and MSI GT72. Each of these laptops boasts impressive specs that rival those found in desktop gaming rigs, making them perfect for gamers on-the-go.

**The Clevo**

The first laptop to be showcased is the Clevo, a powerhouse of a machine that's designed to pack a punch. Equipped with a NVIDIA GeForce GTX 980 graphics card, a desktop-grade Intel Core i7-6700K processor, 16 GB of RAM, and a 1080p G-Sync display all running Windows 10. The laptop's design is sleek and compact, making it easy to transport. On the left-hand side, you'll find two USB 3.0 ports, a Gigabit Ethernet jack, a USBC Thunderbolt port, an SDMMC slot, and a USB 3 E Sata combo port. On the back, there are two full-size display ports, a power jack, and an HDMI port. The right-hand side features four 3.5mm audio jacks and one USB 3.0 connector, while the top boasts a beautifully backlit keyboard and a fingerprint reader for added security.

**The Aorus X7**

Next up is the Aorus X7, a laptop that's considerably thinner than its Clevo counterpart, making it easier to transport. Despite its slimmer design, the Aorus X7 still packs a punch with its GTX 980 graphics card, Core i7-5700HQ processor, 16 GB of RAM, and a 1080p G-Sync display all running Windows 8.1. On the left-hand side, you'll find two USB 3.0 ports, an HDMI port, and a mini DisplayPort. The back features a USB 2.0 connector, power connector, while the right-hand side has two 3.5mm audio jacks, an HDMI connector, and a mini DisplayPort.

**The MSI GT72**

Last but not least, we have the MSI GT72, a laptop that's closer in thickness to the Clevo than the Aorus X7, making it another great option for those looking for portability without sacrificing power. Equipped with the same GTX 980 graphics card as its competitors, this machine also features a Core i7-6820HK processor, 16 GB of RAM, and a 1080p G-Sync display all running Windows 10. On the left-hand side, you'll find four USB 3.0 ports, four 3.5mm audio jacks, an SD card slot, while on the back, there's a DVD drive (a rare feature in laptops these days), power Ethernet, HDMI, mini DisplayPort, and a Thunderbolt port. The right-hand side features two more USB 3.0 connectors, making it perfect for those who need to stay connected on the go.

**Performance Expectations**

So, what can we expect from these laptops in terms of performance? Based on our previous video, we know that the GTX 980 is a powerful graphics card that can handle demanding games and applications with ease. When paired with high-end processors like Intel Core i7-6700K or i7-6820HK, and plenty of RAM, these laptops are sure to deliver smooth performance even in the most demanding games.

**Conclusion**

In conclusion, these three laptops - the Clevo, Aorus X7, and MSI GT72 - offer impressive specs that make them perfect for gamers on-the-go. With their powerful graphics cards, high-end processors, and plenty of RAM, they're sure to deliver smooth performance even in the most demanding games. what kind of splash they make on the market i ended up playing eve valkyrie on the clevo and honestly the experience was smoother than a number of demonstration pcs that i've tried it on that may speak more to the lack of performance than the demonstration pc than anything but still these laptops are packing some power just before the end here i'm going to throw up some performance graphs but
