Hello Galaxy: A Community Rises
As I drove in the Seattle sunshine, I couldn't help but feel a sense of excitement and anticipation for the future of Galaxar. My day started off on a Monday morning, where I was supposed to connect with a colleague at a later time. However, I soon realized that I had the wrong day, and my plans were put on hold until next Monday. But as I sat down, I couldn't help but think about how far Galaxar has come since its first event.
The past few days have been nothing short of perfect. The Galaxy Event series exceeded all of my expectations, and I'm thrilled to say that it's an event that I would love to do again over the weekend. But what made this event truly special was not just the attendance or the excitement, but the impact it had on the community. We launched registration for our vendors and attendees alike, making sure that everyone who wanted to be a part of Galaxar could join in on the fun.
But what's even more exciting is that Galaxar has become so much more than just an event series. It's a platform that brings people together, a community that inspires entrepreneurs to take action. And it's not just about the event itself, but about the connections we make and the experiences we have along the way. I'm thrilled to say that we've already seen some incredible examples of this in action.
For instance, someone who I connected with a while ago to buy some Black Series Star Wars figures from at another Seattle area location brought their entire family to Galaxar. And it was there that their wife was inspired to create her own thing to sell at the next galaxy. This is exactly what I mean by a community in action β people coming together, supporting one another, and inspiring each other to be their best selves.
And it's not just limited to the event itself. We've also created a Facebook buy and sell group that allows anyone to join from anywhere in the world. If you're interested in buying or selling pop culture collectibles, this is the place to be. And with over 50 entrepreneurs already on board, I'm confident that we'll see some amazing things come out of this group.
But what really gets me excited is the energy around Galaxar's evolution. It's clear that Locker gnome is playing a big role in our community's growth, and I couldn't be happier about it. With so many like-minded individuals coming together, there's no doubt that we'll see some amazing things happen in the years to come.
And as someone who has been inspiring entrepreneurs for years, decades even, it's time for me to make this official. Galaxar is now a community, and I'm honored to be a part of it. So if you're a nerd, a geek, or just someone with a passion for pop culture collectibles, I invite you to join us on this journey. We've got coffee, we've got biscotti, and we've got a whole lot of fun waiting for you.
As I sat down at my favorite coffee shop, sipping on a delicious cup of joe, I couldn't help but feel grateful for the community that's come together around Galaxar. And as I looked at the cookies on my table β two for me, one for my wife, and one for my mom β I knew that we're not just talking about an event or a group, we're talking about people coming together to share in the love of what they're passionate about.
And that's exactly what Galaxar is all about. It's not just about collecting pop culture items, it's about the connections we make and the experiences we have along the way. So if you're ready to join a community that's all about spreading joy and inspiring entrepreneurs, then welcome to Galaxar, my friend. We've got a cup of coffee waiting for you.

I was supposed to connect with a colleague in the late am only to realize when I sat down I had the wrong Monday it'll be next Monday we were going to sit down and talk about the future of galaxar and speaking of the future of galaxar the past was perfect or about as perfect as it could have been it as an event the first event that we did in the Galaxy Event series exceeded my expectations in so far as my goal or the only true goal was to be able to do it again over the weekend we launched registration not just for Galaxy our vendors for our upcoming October 15 2017 event but we also launched registration for attendees so if you were not able to come to the Seattle area to come to the very first Galax R you can come to the next galaxy on October 15th 2017. it was epic I would love to be able to do Galax R in a far more regular basis than just twice a year but you know for a first time event to be able to do it a second time in the same year I'm excited I'm excited for where it's going and how it's going to grow organically of course it's more than just an event series though it's a community and I can think of no better way of putting a finer point on this then to explain a social post I saw this morning uh someone who I connected with a while ago to buy some Black Series Star Wars figures from at another Seattle area location uh is married and he brought his entire family to Galaxy and she his wife was inspired to create her own thing to sell at the next galaxy so not only did we engage 50 entrepreneurs who were vendors at the first Galaxy again Galaxy is a platform it's not just an event series it's Community but now we've inspired other would-be entrepreneurs to become entrepreneurs to then reinforce the community aspect of Galax R to come and sell their Wares their original Creations their geeky pop culture inspired stuff at the next galaxy not to mention in the Facebook buy and sell Group which we launched the same weekend as we launched galaxar anybody can join that from anywhere in the world if you're interested in buying and selling pop culture Collectibles or if you make pop culture inspired Collectibles or Wares or lifestyle stuffs I'm excited that was a very nice thing to see on a Monday morning even on a Monday morning where I uh got up earlier than I needed to get up to go to a meeting that is taking place next Monday but at least I made a good cup of coffee hmm I I actually went to the coffee shop and I did not walk away empty-handed I got some biscotti for Jedi and a cookie for my wife and another cookie for my mom so they don't have to share because that would be oh I mean I'm sure they would share them I'm just saying I know how I am when it comes to my stuff and I don't always like to share the things that I love but I kind of share the things that I love indirectly not to say that a cookie is a collectible I don't think that's really the case a case of cookies the case itself could very well be collectible in fact I think I have a couple of cookie case collectibles in my collection I need more coffee and I need you to become a part of a community that you're probably already up part of if you consider yourself a nerd or a geek you probably have a fandom I'm excited for Galax ours how Locker gnome is evolving it's where I'm throwing a lot of energy I've been inspiring entrepreneurs for years decades if you will and now it's time to make that officially official through the Galaxy our community coffee Breakfast of Championshello Galaxy I'm Chris Perillo driving in the Seattle
