My Time with Drift HQ and My Latest Creation Foreign
As I look back on my time with Drift HQ, I am filled with a sense of gratitude and excitement for the incredible journey that has brought me to where I am today. My first Pro Spec car was a modified Covet Season that I only did because there was a season available for it, but little did I know that this would be just the beginning of an amazing adventure. With Drift HQ's help, I was able to push myself to become a better competitor and driver, and I will always cherish the memories I made during that time.
One of my fondest memories with Drift HQ is taking Christmas shopping with Colette. We had a blast sticking a tree on the roof of our car and then doing donuts around it. It was definitely a fun way to spend the holiday season, and it's moments like those that I will always treasure. As for me, I have driven many FD cars, but some of my fondest memories are actually from driving on the streets in an FD car. There's something about the thrill of racing on the pavement that just can't be beat.
Speaking of which, I recently acquired a new car that I am extremely excited to share with you all. It's an A90 Supra that I had crashed and then modified with a street Hunter wide body kit. The purpose of this car is not just to look cool, but also to provide a fun driving experience. I had originally planned on putting it in my FD7, but after realizing that the four rotor was too aggressive for what I wanted to achieve, I decided to start from scratch and build something entirely new.
This car has become an integral part of my Drift HQ team, and we've been working tirelessly to get it just right. The engine bay is still not completely finished, but it's getting there slowly. We're running a dry sump four rotor that will make somewhere in the 600 range, with an estimated RPM of 11,000. The interior is equipped with some amazing carbon bits, including a center console and an ECU Master keypad.
One of my favorite features of this car is the HGT sequential transmission. It's basically the beefiest setup you can run for drifting, and I couldn't be more excited to put it to the test. We've also implemented a Winner's Quick Change subframe, which will allow us to change up the rear setup and use this car for some time attack-style driving as well.
The purpose of this car is not just to win competitions, but to bring smiles to people's faces whenever I drive it. And let me tell you, we've already had our fair share of excitement with this car. We were able to start it up at an event, and the look on everyone's face was priceless.
As for what's next, I'm excited to finish building this car and taking it to the track. With Drift HQ's help, I know that we'll be able to create some amazing memories with this car, and I'm looking forward to sharing them all with you guys. So, stay tuned for more updates from our latest creation, Foreign.
A Big Thank You to My Partners
I want to take a moment to express my gratitude to all of the partners who have helped make these cars possible. BC Racing, Nitto, ECU Master, dishworks, radium, and Garrett are just a few of the amazing companies that have supported me on this journey. I'm also grateful for ignite, which has been fueling all of these beasts with clean air. And of course, I have to give a special thank you to Drift HQ itself, without which none of this would be possible.
Conclusion
As I look back on my time with Drift HQ and my latest creation Foreign, I am filled with a sense of excitement and gratitude for the incredible journey that has brought me to where I am today. From modified Covet Seasons to A90 Supras, each car has been a challenge, but also an opportunity to learn and grow as a driver. I'm excited to see what the future holds, and I know that with Drift HQ's help, we'll be able to create some amazing memories together.
"WEBVTTKind: captionsLanguage: enhello guys my name is Adam LZ and I am an automotive content creator I've been at this YouTube thing for well over 10 years now and throughout time I have amassed a massive collection of cars I tend to keep cars forever and the reason for that is I feel that they tell my story as both an automotive Enthusiast car builder and a driver as we go through each car you can expect a little Montage talking about specs maybe my favorite memory and of course the exhaust note sound is one of the most important things to me and I'm curious what you guys think is the best sounding car of the collection but other than sound one thing that you will find in common amongst all these cars they were built to be driven I'm insanely grateful to be in a position to where I can own all these cars I can enjoy them and I can share the journey with you guys and I want to extend a massive thank you to all of you guys that have been with my channel for a long time and those of you that might just be joining now if you saw my last car collection video over three years ago I made a promise that I would have a side-by-side drag race if the video got a hundred thousand likes and it did however every time I had a window at the drag strip there were some cars that were down and I wanted to have the fastest ones operable so if you still want to see that happen make sure to hit the like button if this video gets 100 000 likes again I don't care if half my cars are broken I'm gonna go to the drag strip I've got an area where I can line 18 cars wide and we can see how they all stack up let's get into it we're going to start out with one of my all-time favorites of my collection my R34 GTR foreign like any other kid that has ever watched Fast and Furious or been in any part of car culture owning an R34 was a dream of mine but the prices of them were so ridiculous I never thought I would actually own one fast forward I was actually bidding on an air-cooled Porsche because I wanted an investment car lost on it and said you know what it I've always wanted a 34. I knew it would be a good investment and we would also get to build it so this is my midnight purple 3 v-spec R34 GTR the interior pretty much stock but where the magic happens is underneath the hood this car was kind of like a pivotal point for our shop LZ MFG because we kind of went from building drift cars to almost like a restoration shop and on this it's kind of like a combination of a restoration slash like Resto mod because every nut and bolt underneath the chassis powder coated zinc plated but then we've also got a bunch of titanium so like my favorite thing on this car Johann one of my favorite people in the world and an insanely talented fabricator did a custom equal length downpipe that has a true for inch merge to a complete four inch titanium exhaust with a vibrant Muffler of course we got the titanium intakes lots of little rare JDM bits Arc HKS V cam the motor is a two six it's a forged two six with Garrett GTX 2860s it makes around 750 horsepower which honestly feels a little bit like kind of understated for power for the car obviously got the ganondors one of my favorite Parts would be the endless brakes on this thing and of course from the rear we got Wing risers a little carbon bits on the wing and you can see what was actually vibrant's first true four inch titanium muffler on it as with all these other cars I'm going to try to go over them pretty quick but we have a full catalog of videos building pretty much every single car that we're going to talk about so if you want to learn more see the dyno poles no more details you can definitely check it out my favorite memory with this car would definitely have to be at one of our I think second open houses revealing the car opening up the garage bay doors having all my Connecticut friends in the car with me and rolling out through a crowd of you guys just with giant smiles and memories that would last forever with this thing look at that face we gotta yell into Adam future plans I would like to put a bigger engine in it especially after doing a 2.8 in one of my other cars and also planning to put a 2.8 Mi R32 GTR this thing can't stay at 26 so maybe it'll be a two eight maybe it'll be a three liter maybe bigger I don't know I'm curious what you guys think but one of my favorite Parts is letting you guys hear what these things sound like full disclosure every single car has been warmed up it was actually a giant undertaking and I probably put a sizable hole in the ozone layer just letting these car idle but gotta warm up those engines also fun fact pretty much every single car here runs on ignite red ethanol we've got a lot of money and a lot of time tied up in these builds and of course we want to protect them so we use the best fuel where we always know what we're gonna get you know foreign this is another dream car that I never thought that I would own I've always wanted a royal sapphire pearl Supra but uh the prices of them have gotten pretty ridiculous if I tried to find a usdm one I think even a non-turbo one they're like upwards of six figures this is an szr so it's a n a 2J but it's manual and has some of the like beefier turbo parts to it it's a new car so I like really haven't done much to it I chucked some Recaro confettis in it threw it on tees but one interesting thing I guess is this car is technically Nat it did come from Japan with like kind of a old school ghetto single turbo kit but this is one of those cars I really don't even have that many memories with I guess you could say my fondest memory was going around the back side of my house foreign Allison accidentally drifting this thing drifting my mark IV Supra but yeah look this uh turbo setup is Tiny it doesn't make a lot of power it's not the best sounding car in the world but this is going to be a very fun build to look forward to in 2023. we'll kind of take inspiration from some parts of the 34 but I think it's going to resemble more so my white gzx 100 which a lot of people ask what's my favorite car of my entire collection I usually talk about that one and when we get to it you'll see why but anyway here's my Supra I hope you guys like it because this one's gonna be a fun build all right next up we have my RTR spec 5 Mustang so I drove Von getting Junior's personal car I thought it looked cool it was a lot of fun to drive and I didn't really have any car at home that I could just toss the keys to a friend that was in town that I could know would be reliable and run on pump gas and that they wouldn't mess up so this car is absolutely beautiful I love the wide body kit on it I've done absolutely nothing to it this is exactly how it would come if you got it from a dealer exhaust tip supercharger this thing makes around 600 horsepower I don't know I think it's quoted for 750 at the flywheel but my butt Dyna would say about 600 horsepower favorite memory in this I don't have on camera but uh lee over at monster performance I stopped by there unexpectedly and just started laying on a huge fat burnout in his parking lot right next to his super expensive R35 GTR and they all came running to the parking lot because they were like there's some idiots here in a Mustang doing a burnout and they came over like oh it's Adam I do a lot of burnouts in this thing one of my all-time favorite cars that you can buy right now would be the 992 Turbo S Porsche knocked it out of the park on this car and it's one of those things it's like my guilty pleasure I have a hard time justifying owning it because it's so expensive and I actually sold my last one because I needed money and I was like one day I'm gonna buy another because it's the best car I've ever owned this one notable features it has red interior which is really cool it has a carbon roof which is really cool and it has an arrow kit which is really cool which has this Wing thing that connects these things that look funky when the wing is down but when it's up it looks really cool I've got jcr titanium exhaust I have an M Engineering tune I've got lowering springs on it the 0-60 time is ridiculously fast it's somewhere in the two second range I'll put it on the screen because I don't want to sound like a liar but it sounds great it is the hardest pulling car I have from a stop but fun fact about it my white Chaser is actually faster we did a poll in Mexico and was deep into fourth gear in the Chaser and it started bust training Freight training bus length train bust out thought they one of my favorite things that I did to both my last one and this one was swap the ps4ces that come on it for Pilot Sport cup twos I think Porsche doesn't do this on purpose because once you put cup twos on it this car I think would be faster on a race track than the GT3 yo turbo monster God this is sick thank you with that being said I would probably prefer GT3 over this if you don't know mine got totaled rip I'll put a clip of that on the screen because I don't have that many fond memories with that with this yet but I had a lot of fond memories with that car foreign maybe I'll find another one or maybe I'll just wait till the new gt3rs comes out but I think I'll always have a p car in my life and right now it's a 992 Turbo S and I like to go to dinner with my cute girlfriend and dogs and it's a great way to stay in shape foreign let's see what this baby can do the amount of speed through this corner is ridiculous that's terrifying Todd a grip Jackson Control is definitely helping us pedaling through this area got some use all of it not bad foreign by the way I think makes somewhere in the 700s for horsepower I don't I say when I say I think it's because I haven't personally had a car on the dyno and whenever manufacturers or like tuning companies list numbers I take them with a grain of salt usually my butt dinos more accurate than their dinos so anyway this is my C4 Corvette this car started as a 30 000 mile owned by a dude in Reeboks it was super clean because we needed a car to cut up to install the wide body by Bjork but the engine that comes in these cars is no fun so we said puts a little monkey on this one yeah we didn't build this car drift HQ built this car it wasn't in our shop and like it didn't come with instructions on how to open the hood so there's that so yeah this car was built by drift HQ uh Kristen Cricket knocked it out of the park on this and we opted to swap it for an rv25 I actually had an NA rb25 Neo which believe it or not they spool very quick and if you keep them on ethanol they can make like mid-400s very safely that's what this one makes still going to go back on the dyno to be retuned uh it's beautiful it's got a Garrett G30 770 PRP bits plasma man bits D schwerk's fueling system but you'll notice this car is drift HQ green it's beautiful and the interior on this car is one of my favorite Parts it's got the peanut butter guts and it's got some cool bits in there this car I don't have any memories with because it's kind of a fresh build and it's kind of useless right now because it's so low that I don't really want to drive it and total the very expensive body kit that Ray and Josh spent a lot of time prepping and painting also has beautiful Heritage wheels that are kind of reminiscent of like a stock C4 wheel but it's on cool delivers right now the only coilovers we could find were like drag suspension for C4 which is not ideal for what we want to accomplish with it so until I can get like maybe an error system for this car I'm a little too nervous to drive it but it's got sick curb appeal it sounds amazing and I'm excited for many memories to come with this thing this car man this is the car that started it all the cream s13 was my very very first drift car I think it was my second or third car that I've ever owned and this is the car that I feel like really started my Automotive journey I knew nothing about cars I bought an sr240 because that's what everyone said was the car to drift in the very beginning me and Jimmy were actually supposed to share this car that was before Jimmy was a YouTube guy now he's a YouTube guy shout out Jimmy Oaks I remember going over to Jimmy's house trying to figure out how to install these Sparco seats which were the first ever mod that I ever did to a car and yeah they're still installed with the same things that I did back when I was like probably like 18 or 19 and they still work it's hard because there's like stuff that I want to change on this car like I have new seats for it but I also want to lose the Nostalgia the things that I did along my Automotive Journey right so under the hood this thing is a forged Sr with a G25 550 makes like 500 horsepower still on a ROM tune and it's not the prettiest but part of me wants to leave kind of the Nostalgia and you know little scratched up bits Trevor emotional TV painted this cover I guess I painted it with him and uh I would love to like restore it and bring it up to current standards but I also lose a lot of the dumb little mods that I feel like give it character this car was kind of a paperweight it just sat because it was my momento car that would only pull out for special occasions and then my E36 blew up at our LZ Invitational and I wanted to do something special so I took this car out and actually won the entire competition with it haven't driven the car in years haven't competed in years and I did a little bit of body damage so there's some fiberglass cracks but suspension Wise It's GK Tech angle in the front in the rear it is I think PBM drop Knuckles and then inside it's got like kind of the mocha guts which is the brown sparkly metallic it's supposed to be like a frappuccino theme the cream paint has like little green pearls in it and I guess this would be an appropriate time to mention its counterpart that's actually located in Australia Luke Fink helped me put together a replica cut of this car that I went over to Australia to drive drove that car across country just like this car has been a cross country in the U.S that car's been across country in Australia and Tasmania made many memories with that car which is like a simplified version of this instead of cd09 it has an Sr trans and instead of a forged motor it's got a stock motor with like a head gasket but this thing rips it's one of my favorite cars in the world to drive and it's just kind of too nostalgic to worry about smashing up unless I got a special occasion favorite memory in this car as always the donuts my first Donuts that I ever did in a car ever over at South of the Border with Jimmy Oaks and I'll put that clip in here turn the wheel drop the clutch easy enough foreign you burned way more rubber than I was hoping you would but I paid for the top I was trying to conserve some rubber and Adam's just like oh let me just burn all of it off but it's okay let's go we still got so much more we're gonna go get some fireworks foreign my 350Z I came back from Japan where I guess another Shameless plug we'll talk about another car that's not located in this country my jzx 100 Cresta which was my second drift car ever completely changed my mindset on drifting previously I was about to put a 3.4 liter 2JZ in my one car that was getting me the most seat time and learning then I went to Japan it was like Wow simple is good car doesn't break really fun so that Jersey X100 Crest that lives over in Japan at ebsu circuit this is my gzx 100 Cresta so this is not a Mark II this is not a chaser this is a Cresta it's got a little bit different front-end front fenders and it's got this little snoop droop Buck going on we'll do a little walk around see where we're starting now we got our starting point before it goes through a week of Carnage it's got a little bit of rust and mildew sitting around we've got the uh rear all loaded up with my spare wheels and random tires I'm stoked this car sat for a little bit without a window because they got smashed in one of the uh the other trips but nothing's really too moldy it's got a little bit of mildew but my seats look great my harnesses look great going around the front got some fading on the gram lights that's a thing with these neon ones I love the patina of uh just like the mildew and stuff from it sitting probably that's really bad to touch so I might wash it even though I'd love to leave it I gotta have monster truck height just because these stock fenders will hit everything I might take a grinder to them this trip so I can lower it make it look a little bit better but that car is pretty much a stock motor just with some uh you know cut Knuckles and Interiors got like a cage and the the bride seats and you know all that stuff but anyway that car is located over in Japan came back and I said I need a sea time car and eventually I got the 350Z after we did a giveaway 350Z I was like wow yeah these things are really good got this car and I think this car I can attribute more of my progression in drifting as a driver than anything else because you just drive it you turn laps laps laps laps anyone ask me what car should I get to get into drifting I say 350Z have you got HR money get HR if you only got de or up Rev money just make sure you're good at putting oil in your car because it's probably going to consume a lot inside fairly stock got my signature lzmfg wheel you can get it at lzmfg.com in case you want one uh also has Sparco seats no cage in this car I like to keep it simple sometimes we'll drive this on the street a lot and then it also has a harness bar outside with stock body forever and then I eventually put over fenders on it to cover up all of the dents fun fact with this car I don't think I have a clip to show you but its first big dent was actually from Lee hitting me in an R34 which is not a common thing to hit a 350Z actually my favorite memory in this thing definitely back in the day when Ginge and Taylor both have 350z's all the uh oh it feels a little loose in this thing all the memories that we just had of just you know shredding door to door we went on uh Team tandem competition together yo this thing is clean all right this thing has seen probably more miles than any 350Z on the planet with the with the with the temperature gauge pinned past way too hot because like I drifted a lot but I also love to do standstill burnouts and moving burnouts at the end of things till like everything starts glowing red and the temp gauge is like this it's a great fun machine and it is treated me fantastically it's like 120 000 miles on it had wise Fab on it now I have FDF on it which we are the exclusive distributor over at drift HQ so if you need some FDF hit us up we'll tell you what to get this thing rips it's good fun got the signature dual coolers in the front future plans with it drive the piss out of it thank you foreign color pretty common as a launch color spec when you have the dove gray interior this car actually had black interior but it was swapped for Speed cloth which is really cool probably one of my favorite Parts about the car now when I got this car although it was my dream car to own a Laguna Seca blue E46 M3 when I was growing up I actually got this card with the intention to give it away with that being said we just never really had time to do what I wanted to do with it and plans kind of changed and a lot of the parts that I got for this car to build a new giveaway car now have been allocated to my first car which we'll talk about in a little bit but this car it actually came with the big Brembo brake kit I recently swapped over to some te37s it's kind of my favorite wheel and I kind of put it on everything and they're kind of played out before you if you hate them because I love them they're light they look good and it's a great way to stay in shape I don't have a ton of memories with this car I would say the fondest of them would probably win this car was located in California that was like kind of in the beginning of me and Colette's relationship and we definitely we shared some good times ripping the Canyons with this thing Zoom time it's got the carbon CSL intake box that I got from Castro as well as a full exhaust that Castro made for me which I think is one of the best sounding E46 M3 exhaust it's just got some custom stuff in it that makes it not sound super raspy Jordan RK Tunes when I brought this car up to Connecticut and had some mechanical issues with it I dropped it off in his shop and he actually did the big three on it so now it's got welded in subframe enforcements in the rear it's got the Vanos job done and it's got rod bearings on so this thing should be kicking for quite some time more will it ever be a giveaway car or will I keep it forever I don't know but if I ever get rid of this car it's just going to get replaced with another Laguna Sega blue car because this is like a forever car for me that I'll always want to own future plans with this car uh I again I don't really know because I don't know if this will be the one that I keep forever or if it'll be a giveaway car oh also fun fact I don't know if this ever made it on the internet but Rudnick uh actually messed up my front bumper he did a favor for me and brought it to Jordan's but there was a strap and it wore away my paint but he was a good guy and he got it covered and he got me new bumper painted so thank you redneck I love you people always ask me what is my favorite car that I own and uh lately it's been this one reason being this is a jzx 100 Chaser right I think it looks beautiful it's got the stands show car stuff going on but it's also got some sauce under the hood you can put your dogs or your kids in the back you can put all the groceries in the back and this thing actually makes 750 horsepower it's got a 2J in it and uh well let me show you under the hood I think it's like the greatest representation of our work as a shop because it's something that we turned around very quickly I think we built this car and maybe a matter of like two or three weeks but it's also got a very similar level of detail to the R34 so this thing is a bone stock 2J unopened bottom end just with head studs some Titan 272 cams you know Springs retainers Garrett G35 900 I think this setup on ethanol is the best stock 2J setup ever it is insanely responsive it's insanely fast like I said this thing pulled on the Turbo S and it is actually a stock r154 people are scared of putting big Power in r154s but I've tried a couple different transitions in this thing it's had a CD it's actually got a v160 and I think the r154 just feels best because it's the transmission that was meant to come in the car with that being said I went a little bit softer on the clutch and I also didn't put a bunch of mid-range in the car just to kind of keep it lasting longevity wise but it's got a 235 kind of stancy setup in the back but you'd be surprised the thing was dead hooks in second gear very very sticky tires but these wheels were actually off my FD car when it debuted at SEMA they were laying around I wanted to put them on something and one day me and Jimmy were hanging out and we were like huh let's try to put them on the Chaser so we like added the camber like all the stands people do by like you know adjusting the arms I think that's what they do and it worked and it rode great and it looked great and it's kind of stayed the same ever since future plans for this car I would like to maybe change up the wheels but it's like so perfect oh the clutch the clutch is very gnarly it's a great clutch but I think I need to change the master or the slave sizing because it's just got like a little too fine of a window and even though I can drive it everyone that ever drives is like this is the worst car in the world because they stole it eight times and it kind of hurts my soul when they say that because it's my favorite car again vibrant titanium exhaust I think this thing is four inch all the way back it's got the same Muffler that's on the R34 it sounds amazing and I I would have to say I think my favorite memory with this car would be either taking the dogs to the beach with it or probably just doing a burnout with the old shop parking lot we did a fat burnout as like an lzmfg clothing ad and I feel like that ad that we did it was like an Instagram video kind of rejuvenated my passion for actually promoting my brand because before I was like man I hate plugging my t-shirts all the time and I want to piss you guys off but then I did that I was like oh I could just do burnouts whenever I talk about merch and then it's cool and then I did that and then we sold a lot of merch and then we got more cars and then more content great car love it I feel like it kind of goes without saying but pretty much every car here that we've talked about is on BC racing suspension I always prefer the DS series if you can Fork over the extra coin They Ride amazing both for the track and the street the digressive part of it allows you to have like good turn and feedback where when you have like a high speed shock movement the curve tapers out a bit so it isn't like super bumpy or gnarly to Rod lets you usually get away with a little bit softer spring rate too Shameless plug I talked about being rejuvenated to advertise the things that I own drift HQ is the company that I own and this is our giveaway car the giveaway is ending tomorrow on Christmas Day at midnight this is a Nismo 370Z foreign the inside has cool seats and a sick handbrake in the stock location this is set up to be a perfect street car drift car and every five dollars you spend on drifthq.com gets you entered for a chance to win sick Wheels sick exhausts and the colors inspired by my E36 this is an AZ attack Maritime blue one of my favorite rap companies the Finish is so good that like Can't Believe It's Not paint and wow ready another quick Shameless plug this is our other giveaway car for lzmfg my clothing brand every five dollars you spend gets you entered for a chance to win pretty sweet r33 gtst with an rb26 foreign this thing sounds sick it's set up for the circuit it's got endless brakes reggae Masters we're going to do a little bit of a refresh repaint some things clean up some things and uh honestly just enjoy the car because it works great we'll give it an engine bay restoration because the engine bay could use a little bit of love but it looks sick Drive sick and it could be yours foreign Tech wrap this is my other jzx 100 Chaser that was previously totaled I got it for parts and then we were like you know what we actually have a lot of parts that we could put on this thing to fix it and make a complete drift car so this car was originally white then it was brown which my fondest memory drive in this car I think was when me and Mike I feel like really got to know each other driving this thing across country to California and back and drifting like a bajillion tracks in the mix foreign foreign so this car was like totaled like bad bad like the entire firewall was pushed in but now it's just kind of a simple seed time Chaser the inside isn't the prettiest it's got some red reclinable Brides in it brand new r154 in it outside of course it's got the blitz of Threes it's got modded Knuckles extended lowers in the front nothing super fancy but it does have Ikea formula rear arms that allow me to dial in the alignment a little bit better the trunk I think I still have a pretty cool setup one thing that I like to do with drift cars when they get a little warm is I'll put a water sprayer in it so you can go to your local like Harbor Freight or whatever and you can buy a water sprayer and then when it gets hot you have water lines that spray your radiator to cool it off because with drift cars we don't get the cool down laps like you would on a circuit track a lot of times you do a hot lap with like the rev limit the whole entire lap and then we just sit in grade and the cars don't get a good chance to cool down so this lets you lap faster uh yeah the rear it's got some paint in it because it's a little rusty this thing is is rough it is not a clean car by any means means but it runs great just like all my other cars it's on ECU Master Standalone underneath the hood it ain't pretty but she gets the job done it's like all my other cars she's got a Garrett turbo well G Series is the if you want response and you want to make good power this car had a G25 660 on it and it was a little bit much for the stock 1j rods and uh you know they left the building but now it's got a g3660 which moves the power curve up a little bit more which I think is safer makes around 500 wheel on ethanol ignite red just like always dieselworks fuel system doesn't need to make that much power I usually leave it turned down but it does it sounds great it's a blast to drive and I think it looks pretty good too Chaser is sick one of my favorite cars to drift however it is tough to follow people that are in like an S chassis in these things because they're a little bit bigger they don't make grip as much so it's fun to drive with other slow ER cars or with other Chasers foreign this car right here is actually my very first car so I found the van looking through some very old emails of mine I put one of my buddies that lived near where it was Mike Massey on alert for it and after like a year and a half he managed to track it down and I was able to buy back my very first car this is kind of almost exactly what it looked like when I owned it these aren't the same exact Wheels but they're the same wheels that I had the interior is pretty much the same that it was when I got it a little rough definitely could use a little bit of oh that's the first time I've seen this oh it's not connected the car was automatic is an automatic 325i and like this is when I was into cars but I wasn't really into cars I got this car because I saw it on a dealer a lot I was like wow it looks cool and knew nothing about it got it and then regretted not getting a manual car probably like what happens to a lot of people you know I definitely had fomo of not using my left leg as much as I would have liked to but body wise it's a little rough it could use some love it'll probably get a full restoration but the Saucy part is what's underneath the hood drift HQ has been doing a build on this FCP Euro has been supporting us to no it's the drift the drift HQ when they build the cars they don't give me the manual on how to open up the hood it's the same problem with the Corvette so drift HQ has been making videos s54 swapping this car my dream was when I was younger to own hpf stage two and a half E46 M3 I had gotten all the parts that were supposed to go into that car when it was a giveaway car but I decided to make this thing spicy and to make my first car something that could be enjoyable we'd put it on this car so this not right now it's not in it this is actually just a mock-up motor we'll be getting an hpf stage two and a half motor which is a built s54 lowered compression and should make in the 700s on pump gas it's a Garrett G35 1050 turbo underneath the boys of completely M3 swapped this thing so M3 subframes M3 in the front M3 driveshaft axles you can see it's got an intercooler but everything in this car will be stealth the boys will be finishing it over on the drift HQ channel so if you're interested you can go check it out over there I'd say my fondest memory of this car is just all the road trips we used to do back in the day a lot of them were actually with Jimmy we would take my car put the bike bikes on the roof or probably just blasting through the back roads of Connecticut with my Tiptronic transmission trying to make it sound like it was manual so when I pull up on the scene I could steal your girl you know this is gonna be a fun one this will be a build that will be done very soon and will be very exciting and fun to drive and I hope you guys look forward to seeing it we're gonna take a break from being outside before we go through the last row of cars we're going to go into where they're typically stored and I'm going to talk about the cars that weren't worth pulling off the lift that I actually wasn't going to include in the video at all most of them are just like rollers or cars that don't run right now this was an E46 M3 cage shell I got this off Johann we actually traded and he got that A90 super that he's building notable things it has a nice TIG welded cage Brembo brakes and all the M3 drivetrain bits that are expensive this was the last giveaway car the winner hasn't flown down to pick it up yet I think that's going to be happening soon the Winner's Instagram name is here in case you missed my video announcing it this is a random S14 kooky shell that I picked up will I ever do anything with it possibly possibly not you know sometimes cars just pop up and it's like I might want to own this at some time and it's a really good deal so I'll pick it up it came with an Sr that was actually junk like most SRS and then this was just a random white 370Z that I bought and who knows maybe it'll be a drift car maybe I'll sell it or maybe I'll drive it into a pond let's find out I talked about my crested in Japan I also will have two other cars in Japan that you guys know about one of them is an ev1 lightning yellow Spec R aerocated S15 I haven't done anything with it yet it's sitting in storage until the car becomes legal and then I also recently bought a version 6 STI Type R limited that has very low kilometers there's been a blasted driver on Japan it was kind of our rental car the last time we were over there another car that's going to be stored for a while but we'll probably be driving that car when we go over to Japan and then I also have a couple other cars that you guys don't know about that are stashed in Japan some of which are on a boat coming here right now other of which will be coming sometime next year but I tried to take advantage of the situation when the M was low and got a lot of my dream cars before the prices went back up so more stuff to look forward to in 23. my red ah3 R32 GTR is currently stored up in Connecticut it's a very cool car that I haven't done too much to other than install the N1 Nismo bits to the car it has an old-school HKS single turbo on a 2-6 motor and is actually making around 600 wheel horsepower on ethanol I basically we took the setup straight off the boat in Japan put it on good fuel tuned it on a standalone and was able to squeeze out some very reliable horsepower but notably the car is an extremely clean paint extremely clean interior tons of oligonismo bits and actually has an R34 GTR transmission which is fantastic with the stock gearing that the R32 GTRs have when this car is done it will definitely be one of my favorites it'll have a 2 8 and a more modern turbo on it that should have a much fatter mid-range and still rev to the Moon foreign does this count as a car should it be my car collection I don't know but these things are basically the prices of cars so I figure I might as well show it this is my Can-Am Maverick X3 XDS I barely used it I got it and then I got this compound I finally was able to use it and it overheated like the first time I really started abusing it and then the side-by-side blog guys took it and they did the whole build on it of the things that I remember they did some spring things with shock therapy they have a video so I highly recommend checking it out if you like side by sides they have a great Channel where they talk about things in detail but it's got a custom cage I opt for a windshield just because I don't like uh the audio wind noise when I have a GoPro I treated like a rally car I like to believe I'm a rally driver when I drive it and I drive very fast through trees and that's how I enjoy to drive this thing it actually has a forged built slightly higher compression motor with cams in it is it necessary no but my motor is already blown up anyway so I was like you know why not so it's got some BC goodies inside of it and then it's got the newer turbo which makes a little bit more horsepower I think these things weigh like 1500 pounds and this thing makes like 200 something horsepower so it is like to the wheels by the way it is like ridiculously fast a lot of people are very like unsuspecting when they get to ride in this thing but uh favorite memory with this would have to be up in Connecticut uh either barely almost rolling it at Englishtown or probably driving it on a dirt bike track through the woods actually I take that back favorite memory Mike just reminded me me Ty and Rudnick in Tommy's parking lot doing wheelies with this thing that was a big smile moment thank you for remembering that bike oh oh my God she may not be a car but she's got over a hundred thousand miles on her from doing nothing but Towing my cars this is my 2019 F-350 foreign Platinum with the specialty forged John's honor she got the leveling kit on her she got all the paint match bits on her and uh I honestly don't drive this truck that much anymore it kind of has become the utility truck of the compound I don't have like the craziest memories with this car but I have all the memories with this car going to clutch kickers going to Indiana like going all these different places that this truck has been driven to tow my cars around it's a great tow rig I would love to upgrade soon to a newer truck to just reset the mile clock down from 100 000 to zero but if you guys are familiar with these four trucks you could put like literally a million miles on them and they'll still be kick in got the Nitto Johns on here these this is like really impressive right so I got these tires because I had different ones on before they're really noisy these are the Recon Grapplers and like I've got a little bit of tread left like they could probably be replaced soon I think this is like 60 000 miles on these big ass 37 knobbies not a shark eye but I feel like that's pretty impressive foreign this was one of the recent pickups of new car week as we like to call it one of my favorite video series that we've done in 2022 where basically every day for a week I revealed a new car that I got this was a good deal and even though on the outside it looks like a pretty basic E36 328i underneath the hood is something very special this car actually has a full Evo drivetrain swap so it has an s50 b32 I believe is the technical code so it's the engine that only came in some special European E36 M3s and it's actually similar to what we got in the E46 M3s so it's a pretty rare Engine with itbs it makes like an extra I think 75 horsepower over re36 M3s and the sound is amazing I don't have really any super fun memories with it other than ripping it around the compound when we decided to do our whole new lap time thing but plans for this car I don't know it might be a donor car that I swap all this stuff into a nicer M3 or some thing else could happen with it I don't know but again this is like one of those things there's like it was a good deal and it's useful to have foreign this one right here if you've been a fan of the channel for a while I've got to spend a little more time on this one this is my e92 335i and I have a video that I really recommend watching because it shows how this car basically was the motivation for me to get off my ass and make something in my life to most of you guys this may just look like another car but believe it or not this piece of Machinery has actually changed my life I really don't like talking about money in fact I hate it with a passion but I really want to inspire as many of you guys as possible I had my E46 that you guys saw and I saw one of these for the first time I think it was at the bike shop this guy had one and I was like oh my God it's twin turbo and you can make that much power and it's that fast and it's like a sleeper so I set my sights out on getting one of these this car was actually 25 Grand when I got it and I had zero dollars to my name and that's when I started to hustle in my clothing gig I started trying to leverage my following to make cool stuff and actually make money doing what was my passion which is making BMX videos and this car is the reason why I stayed up late at night and when everyone else was playing video games or going drinking and partying I was on the grind get stuff done then it got a little bit ridiculous I wanted to spice this car up a little bit and I wound up going single turbo which was probably one of my biggest regrets of the car because if you're familiar with the n54 platform they just kind of get mad when you do single turbo and it's just like an ECU thing or sensor things and the car runs great it makes like 750 horsepower it's just always going into limp mode or doing some weird stuff it's a bottom mount so it's kind of a little sleeper setup but stock Motor stock ECU triple disc clutch nothing super fancy fun fact of this car probably I was I would say my fondest memory is just going to skate parks and cruising with this thing like this was like the early day of the webisode when this car like really I feel like shined but we also have the situation when I won the YouTuber build off and not really build off series but it was essentially like a YouTuber competition with builds and then this car got shipped to Germany this car went all the way to Germany and then the paperwork was done wrong so I had to get shipped all the way back but it turned into one of my favorite Germany trips when I went over there Tommy Rudnick Grant the crew had a good time this thing's got a big Brembo kit on it it's got a custom titanium exhaust and are there any future plans for this car thought about putting a 2J in it just to make it useful and drive it some more but I'll probably leave it as is put it back up on the top area of the lift point to it and talk about how it never really runs that great and one day one day maybe we'll spend some time making this car work right but it's like one of those feelings when everyone's always like oh man let me take the car to my shop I'll get it right for you and then someone spends like a week of time into it the car is the same if not worse and then I feel guilty because someone's put a bunch of time into the car and then they also have wasted their time and it just it just isn't really good for anybody but it's a car with a lot of fond memories I got this thing pretty clean I feel like it stayed pretty clean and uh yeah definitely a a high level car in my regard to history of the channel foreign the gg350 that I never really wanted but it was like a really nice car and I was like you know what I'm gonna experiment with this turo thing and I'm gonna get this car and then I'm going to talk about how great it is and I'm going to rent it out to people and then I got it and I realized how great of a car it was and then I ended up not wanting to Turret because it was annoying so this car was a normal GT350 as you can see and then I don't have to say my least my fondest memory but the biggest memory is what resulted in this right here my girlfriend who I think had just become my girlfriend at the time happens to be a race car driver Colette Davis and I was like yeah take my gt250 on the track it's awesome it sounds great you'll love it she was driving it and it had one of the manufacturer defects where the oil filter backs off and then the oil sprayed on the headers and the whole thing essentially burnt down foreign yeah so this is pretty awful like I know kind of joke and give this car a lot of and now that's kind of not fun anymore this is the first glimpse oh my God but we decided to make the best of the situation and then rather than just you know writing it off as a loss I got a donor car and got everything back under the hood that was burnt and melted to a crisp which was literally everything and then used it as an excuse to put a very odd motor in it this is a Ford Barra engine these come from Australia they came in some Falcons and some other cars it's a four liter inline six that comes factory with a Garrett 35r this one is forged it's got all the bare trick bits to make them reliable and it's got a g42 1450 turbo this thing I think the most that ever made powerwise on the dyno was about a thousand wheel on ignite red but I never really felt comfortable turning up more than that because it still has head studs that I think are kind of at their limit now I've got upgraded ones I've ever want to push it more but I haven't really been able to get this chassis to put the power down well and I don't want to add more power until I feel like the car is safe and drivable it's got a beautiful plasma and intake manifold on it dishwash fuel system it's on ignite red and it's actually running a piggybacked stock ECU to trick the car to let the body module work we aren't fancy enough to use motex and can bus controls yet so we have a stock Ford crank sensor in it that tells the car that it's running that way it makes all the things happy and then the car can run it also does have a PPG sequential Transmission in it I think that there's a mechanical issue either with the clutch or something with the engine that requires a deeper dive but this car is kind of like a basket case right now and it's very scary for me to drive so until we can really dive into it and spend some time it's just kind of like a back burner project I can assure you it will get Revisited in 2023 but it's one of those things that's going to require a lot of hours and it's not going to produce a lot of content until it's fixed so it's been hard to find the motivation or set aside the time to use it foreign this this thing I feel like I get the same attitude this freaking thing I was in the shower at Grant's house and if you've ever taken a shower at Grant's house it's got amazing water pressure why is that so funny there's a lot of people that have taken showers at Grant's house but I feel like I've gotten some of my best ideas at Grant's house one of which was why not try to do what Cletus did with all his LS engines and try to make a hodgepodge system with twin turbos out the hood on a 370Z motor so not exactly what I was going for I worked with Doc race to get an intake manifold made and I think my original idea was a little too complicated for the time they had but I wanted the turbos to kind of like V in here instead they come around back which I guess gave more room for the MAF sensors yeah it's not funny that this car is math but it runs great I blew up a couple engines because I tried drag racing it it was always fine for burnouts but then once I drag raced it like 700 plus horsepower on a stock vq37 kind of makes the rods mad hurry uh it's actually has custom headers this was the first project where uh I kind of I don't say met Johann the first time I met Johann who's the fabricator that I talked about before my lead fabricator one of my favorite human beings I actually met him when I bought my first 2J for the cream s13 that I mentioned before but this was the first thing that he worked on he built these headers for me or I guess you call them turbo manifolds for this thing and other than that under the hood it's pretty self-explanatory it does have a GK Tech angle kit but this is a burnout car this is the epitome of a YouTube car that has no purpose other than content kind of to do burnouts I didn't come back from Australia and I was like man burnouts are great I want to do burnouts and I want to have a burnout purpose car so you've got the skinnies in the back and everything but like I hate YouTube Cars because YouTube cars are built for content and then they get pushed to a new corner and they don't get driven anymore I like to think that my entire lineup has some sort of purpose and some sort of uh reason to be driven and offers me some kind of value to where like I would choose to drive pretty much any of these cars not based on content except for me this is another like I would definitely say this is a Content car but it was it was something that I wanted to do and I think that it will be good but I still prefer the original engine that came in it as it stands just because of the unreliability and issues but this thing it's cool if you hate it you because I love it it makes big pops and bangs and Flames it stock ECU but I'd like to figure out a way to put it on a standalone because the rev limiter was my least favorite thing about this car like sometimes it goes and then other times it goes and it makes my burnout sound kind of weak and then people think it's me like you know being a loser with the throttle but it's actually just the limitations of the stock ECU that gets mad sometimes but this car I tried to drag race it and it almost put me in the wall a couple times and I said you know what you're good as a burnout car future plans for this car usually get started up I'd say once every two months pulled out of the garage goes and lays down to fourth gear burnout until I pop the tires push back in the garage um Prince repeat foreign next up is a pretty recent addition to the channel this is my green S15 this car has a pretty weird history it was allegedly a fast and furious car but then people argue about it and I guess some dude's girlfriend put it into a tree I don't know what the accurate story is but it does have a frame rail underneath it that doesn't look so hot I don't remember why I got this car I know it was pretty cheap I think it was because I wanted another Sr drift car Sr I referred to as the gods motor one of the greatest engines of all time maybe not on paper maybe not on dinos but in my heart it will always be that way and I wanted to have a S15 because f-15s are cool and my other one was like a full FD Competition Car which is cool but also a lot of money to drive and run and do all that stuff I also miss building cars a lot and maybe that's what it was because I knew that I had the confidence to do Sr things myself but being a YouTuber and not having any time to do anything ever there were some some rushing moments going on that resulted in a lot of dumb issues that could have been avoided like something getting dropped in the intake manifold and cooking my original Forge motor that was in this thing but it's good now she slapped together this thing makes like 500 wheel G25 550 very similar setup to the s13 in the sense of uh like power and everything but this one is on a standalone it does have a r-tech manifold which is really cool we've got a lot of r-tech manifolds in stock at drift HQ it's actually a stainless cast manifold that's really well designed to be easy to install easy to run lines and they sound great this thing's got a nice little Rumble to it and this is a notch top so we've got VCT so I feel like it does have quite a bit of a fatter mid-range than my other car but a lot of things that I did with this were from learning with my cream s13 and just implementing a lot of the trials and tribulations and issues that I had and this car has been great it's a FDF angle kit in the front the rear has stock Knuckles I'm pretty sure still dual caliper and like I said I wanted to work on a car and I put a lot of time into this car myself which is hard for me to to find the time to do nowadays I started this Channel and I started out loving working on cars and I still love working on cars but it's hard to find time to do that all the time this is like the I would say LZ spec of interior because I always hate gutting interior out of cars usually the weight doesn't make a difference so like people ruin their cars and make them not fun to drive this might have actually been built for a driftwick car that might have actually been the reason but then I didn't end up doing that drift week but then I used it for another drift week anyway it's got pretty much full interior so it's got carpet sound deadening as much as I can have in it and then the doors are just cut on the bottom to make room for my custom cage that still allows interior still has the rear seats in it I think it's a pretty cool balance for the time that this car got turned around and like raid absolutely knocked it out of the park with the quality of pain on this thing it's hard to see because it's dirty all the cars have been outside for the Invitational but the problem with this car I love it and I used my vertex Edge wide body yeah don't mind that yeah that sucks this gotta get it taken care of if you if you're a frame guy or you got the the frame pulling thing and you're in Orlando we could use one of those we could for many cars not that many cars like two cars could use that so help us out uh probably my least favorite thing about this car both when I had it on my FD card and on this the vertex Edge wide body is only like 20 mil wider in the rear and it's so hard to put a good wheel and good Tire on it it's like these were my old wheels that I ran on the FD car and this is like a plus 35 nine and a half with a 265 and I can't run any wider when I had this car on my work meister's with like maybe like three degrees of camber in the rear so good I loved it it was my favorite looking car but I don't like drifting with a lot of Kimber like that because it wears through tires unevenly so maybe at some point this car will switch to a different body kit to allow myself to fit a little bit bigger tire fondest memory of this car probably driving up in the Northeast through a snowstorm not having window defoggers using my arm to like wipe away so I could see having snow trying to cold start worrying that it wouldn't start in some random Airbnb and then driving a track in the middle of a snowstorm and hitting rev limiter for hours straight and never overheating and sitting in a hot tub drunk in the rain good morning it's cold outside so I'm getting ready for a tricky 85 start low angle well I love a nice little flick like that foreign a little bit of regret with this one this was another big car on my channel this is my first right hand drive car actually this might have actually came first after I got back from Japan I thought it was a good idea to have a seat time right hand drive actually it's actually I might have come before I got my crested in Japan because I got it to maybe practice right hand drive I don't remember when it came but I realize that RB not really the greatest engine for drifting I got the car and it actually had a blown motor from the dude that I got it from which sucked but I made the best of it learned how to build an rv25 with Kevin Lawrence back in my garage and then this thing became the white covered with red stickers Street machine that I drifted one maybe a couple competitions with but I loved it way more as a streetcar now even though looking at it it doesn't look that crazy I would say this is the fastest car that I own maybe not from a dig but from a roll this thing makes 820 horsepower or something like that it's an rb28 bottom end with a Neo head with some big Kelford cams in it and this thing rips I think we rev it to like maybe 800 maybe nine grand I don't think nine grand but it's got a G35 1050 turbo on it it spools great it's got a super fat mid-range rb26 covers the engine bay has been painted like two or three times just because it would get so hot that the paint would yellow but my font is memory with this car for sure is either no lift shift poles with like Jimmy and the crew up north or when I daily this car for like a full year up in Connecticut back when it was covered with stickers foreign check it every morning because it's got GK Tech you know full drift kit in the rear in the front and you know heim joints get loose and Connecticut shitty roads so that wasn't necessarily the most fun thing or dealing with blown turbo gaskets back when it had a T4 manifold I had to do that a couple times but now it's got rtek cast manifold which is beautiful sounds great and since it's uh v-band we don't ever need to worry about blowing turbo gaskets another cool feature on this car you can't get them anymore I wish you could HPI made these radiator saver condensers pretty much all my cars have AC except for like maybe like two race car race cars in Florida you can't enjoy a car if you don't have AC so it's got AC but this is cool because it it's just like a factory bolt-on option and it works great interior wise is pretty cool in this car it's kind of like simple street car mixed with race car and then recently has some like old logo Nismo bits so this is a Nismo 365 a wheel it's not the B so this isn't a 400r wheel but on the back it has buttons that are actually horn buttons and they're converted to be rolling anti-lag and two-step I don't like using two-step because I think it's stupid just like verbal Tunes but I do like using rolling anti-lag when people Mustangs trying to race me on the highway but it's got old logonismo floor mats ECU Master Digital dash and EC Master ECU this car has a CD transmission with a Serial 9 shifter it works great feels great still got a rear seat the uh the setup in the trunks like a bit ugly and a bit archaic in retrospect definitely could have done this a little bit cleaner and simpler but it's got a dishworks external surge tank two dieselworks fuel pumps and then this one has a full custom three and a half inch vibrant titanium exhaust one of my favorite sounding cars I kind of miss the white with red delivery but this like was my favorite car to drive I think still is it's just comfortable it's kind of like the Chaser before we put the 2J in the Chaser whereas like a four-door car I could put my friends in it it was fast like the fact that I could fit freaking I think there's a 275 like drag tires on stock body with like the perfect species like that doesn't even make sense and this card like dead hooks second gear with 800 horsepower I kind of like kept scaling the car up when I made 600 horsepower and I finally figured out how to put down the grip I was like okay we'll go a little bit bigger turbo finally figured out how to make the grip okay we'll go a little bit bigger engine or wait actually it was break my crankshaft on the dyno because of a shitty balancer and then put a bigger engine in it and then put more grip in the car and now you have what it is the plan was to paint the car I wanted to paint it a darker color maybe like a gunmetal gray or something but now after seeing it in green I kind of miss it being a lighter color so maybe it'll get a full paint job now that we've got Ray on our team I know that he can knock it out of the park looking what he did with this thing uh let me know in the comments what color you'd like to see this thing I was thinking like maybe doing it like a millennium Jade I just kind of like played out or doing a I also thought about buying All Tech R32 sedan and then just transferring everything over but then I kind of lose the Charisma of the car but it's also like not the cleanest R32 and it's kind of rusty and I kind of wish I started off with a cleaner car one thing that I learned with a lot of these cars and a lot of the new cars that you'll see coming over I used to just buy the cheapest iteration of a car because like oh it's a good deal and then I end up putting a lot of money into it and then I'm left with a really nice car but like the bones I just know didn't really start nice like maybe there's a little bit of rust or maybe I like this was messed with or the wiring harness is messed with so just like the Corvette which started off as a 30 000 mile one owner car all the future builds I'm just trying to start with the cleanest iteration of a car I can possible because these cars like I said they kind of tell the story of my Automotive journey I know 99 of them I'm probably gonna end up keeping forever and I'd rather start with a cherry than put lipstick on a pig speaking of buy-in the cheapest iterations of a car and then essentially doing full Restorations on them welcome to my CRX this car I was actually looking for EG hatch and then my buddy Ray who works for RTR he had this car sitting it had a B18 swap which is the engine that I wanted to put in the Civic when I got one and it was really cheap it was like four grand and it had all the parts that I need and I was the only purpose of this car was to basically have a car that my friends could drive and rip and do laps around the compounds so we got like a Top Gear style leaderboard of lap times and then it kind of turned into the BC racing branded compound lap time car so I had to look good so we painted a BC race in gold with the two-tone black underneath Ray knocked it out of the park but what's cool about this car is it was essentially built with 99 of the parts that it came with so this wasn't like a lot of my other cars where I just started swiping my credit card a bajillion times and run up a massive unrelatable tab a lot of this car was just you know a little bit of paint a little bit of polish on the inside the two most expensive bits would be the Recaro Pole Position seats which are wonderful seats my custom yashio Factory collab four point harnesses which you can find on my website and then of course the custom cage done by Bell race works I did a drift style cage in this which a lot of people found to be kind of funny but I knew that the purpose of this car would be to rip around the compound and there's a high likelihood that it could get wrapped around a tree so I wanted to be as safe as humanly possible and when I gutted the doors and realized how much space there was flaring the door bars out like that and adding intrusion bars just felt like it would be a lot safer to me and then I have more peace of mind when people that aren't experienced driving front-wheel drive rip this car around the compound it is a GSR swap so it's a b18c it has the transmission that comes with that as well I think the ratios are a little bit shorter it has the LSD in the front it's got a cable driven shifter I don't know much about Honda stuff so maybe I'm missing some uh important details it's got the smelly intake manifold with the skunk stuff actually this was another thing that I bought this was a new JDM intake manifold because I thought valve cover it's been a long day I'll talk about a lot of car parts it's got the smelly ending manifold and then it's got the the new JDM valve cover garnish and then the you know like literally like bro I painted the headers dude I could have got new headers if everything for this car is so unbelievably ridiculously cheap that I could have probably got new headers but I painted them why not pretty soon we're going to get a setup and I'm going to start cerakoting things and doing everything the right way but it does have an sir front end it looks great I don't remember what it weighed but I think it was under 2 000 pounds and this thing almost made 200 horsepower Jamie Marsh tune this car along with pretty much every other car here and uh yeah she's on ignite red as well because why not and we uh we did as much as we could on her and I think she cracked like 198 horsepower on the dyno so not to be slept on looking forward to taking this to a Honda meat soon and hanging out with my fellow Honda brethren I was so surprised how much love this car got I think it was like one of my most liked Instagram posts of the entire year I love it and I think it's the coolest car but I didn't think so many of you guys were gonna love it maybe because I don't like build Hondas and I approached it with a different kind of mindset than a lot of people that build Hondas and that's kind of what I feel like is the the story with a lot of the cars here because usually I'm not a part of the community at all like when I got my first Evo which we'll talk about next I don't know anything about evos and I kind of just throw myself in head first I learn as I go and I pull a lot of things that I've learned from maybe the drift cars or the race cars or the other street cars that we've built in the past builded it's been a long day but anyway here's the CRX many more memories to come but my fondest memory would definitely be probably cracking VTEC for the first time I don't have the video of it but the first time I cracked VTEC I remember I collect my lap no seat belt we were driving around the compound she's like why did you buy this thing this thing so sucks and I was like just you wait and then I was like and then she's like whoa it may not be fast but it sounded fast but back then it actually only made like 110 horsepower because it had a lot of issues but then we fixed him and I mean it was 200 horsepower moving on to the next car previously I would have always said that this was my favorite car and then it went a little too far down the race car side foreign between having a little bit of Feud with Tommy and then wanting to break the rap the lap record at the firm which it tied back in the day this thing may look like a normal evo5 on the outside but underneath it's got full chromoly race Fab arms it's got a built motor from ma performance interior wise is pretty stock other than a steering wheel but it does have endless brakes and usually I'll have slicks on this thing the hood cable uh I think hold on I actually took this thing to grid life was pretty competitive with it but I had to put these stupid tall tires on it and they wore through the harness and they wore through the hood prop cable so I got to fix that this is not a pretty car this was like kind of like a Connecticut build and then it blew up foreign so oh boy we don't want camera of course and then Justin over at morphab helped me put it back together and uh you know it's modest it has a G25 660 stuffed into like a stock rear section so it's still kind of like a stock Evo turbo placement on a standalone on ethanol it has a built Trans in it but it still grinds I need to talk to ship about that and put a new Trans in and then from fifth gear still grinds and I don't like that that's my least favorite thing about this car actually that and the LSD in the front it's got a one and a half way Cusco front diff which is like what you need to put in these things if you want to have power and also be able to steer maybe it's one way maybe it's one way I don't remember which one it is but it clunks all the time and people always think it's because I got like bad axles or something but that's just normal with these and I kind of wish that I like turned this thing a little bit more into like a stock car this wasn't the cleanest Evo I actually got this thing to be like a winner Thrasher and then I wound up falling in love with it and be like oh my God all-wheel drive is the best thing ever I drove it and then like learned how to drive it drive it and I was like wow why have I not had an all-wheel drive car sooner so at some point I would like to do a restoration on this car being my first Evo and all the memories that I've had with this car but for now it is still kind of like the present day track Evo until I have time to build the next one the fondest memory I have with this car I'd say for sure just feeling like I was living in like real life Initial D when I had this thing up in Connecticut I've ripped this thing on the back roads a little bit rap but it's good um it almost kind of sounds like a Honda in a way but the way that this nine delivers power for coming out of Corners is late at night I literally listened to like you're OB and one time I even put on racing gloves when I was driving on the street real tacky I know but there are some big smiles a lot of special memories made in this thing a lot of friends made a lot of memories I even drove this thing one time when I first got it from Florida all the way up to Connecticut I think you'll be able to see the upskirt from back here but it's kind of tough with the carbon diffuser that I have but the rear end looks crazy with all the chromoly arms and everything see if you can stick it through the hole with the titanium exhaust and everything yeah it's hard to see but it's up there morphab did the titanium exhaust on this again vibrant titanium and it came out sick he smashed out of the park foreign this one was an EVO 5. this is actually an EVO six and a half tme RS super super rare I think it's like sub 200 of them made the reason why I got this car is because it was ridiculously cheap no one wanted it because it had a roll cage in it this car was someone's track toy and uh yeah it's got a roll cage that hasn't been painted for like probably five years I got a bunch of stuff to make this thing nice like carbon interior panels and was planning to redo the interior on it but it's one of those things just getting kept hitting the back burner I wanted to build this car into some sort of like time attack monster using some of the stuff that I learned from this car have a similar brake package for this car I bought a Bosch ABS system for this car got all the same race Fab chromoly subframes and ours for this car but engine wise it is already a forged 2-liter 4g63 it's got an FP turbo on it stock ECU but it is on ethanol so it does make a little bit in the 400s my recent love with this car is four wheel drive drifting I came back from Japan and died kind of showed me how to drift his four-wheel drive Subaru came back and I decided I'd try it with this and I got to do some four wheel drive drifting in it I've got memories in California driving around with Colette with this thing in the canyons back when it was white premium wraps killed it wrapping this car to be the historic most signature red tme Livery but all the tme rs's came white with no Livery on them car rips as is and people ask why I don't take it to the track I think it's just because my white Evo is so much better equipped to handle the track that I know this thing will be slower so it's hard for me to find a point to bring it out there I'm excited to build this car I say with 50 confidence that it will get built in 2023 there's definitely a lot of other priorities but this is one of those things I would personally like to dive into myself got the interior Out start fitting a lot of the carbon bits that I have let Ray do a killer job painting the interior I do need to modify the cage a little bit and that's another reason why I haven't painted it yet you can see the seat is actually touching the harness bar which I'm not a huge fan of so I might need to cut that out modify it move it back since I'm a tall but it's a good car sounds good I want to hopefully if I was going to build this for a class it would be built for Street mod and grid life and I think it could be competitive I took this car to GoodLife to my first time attack session and was fairly competitive so I'd like to think if I built a purpose-built competitive Street mod car I could be really competitive and it's cool because the car is rare and it looks sick and it puts big smiles on my faces and a lot of other people's I do have the right Wheels but these are my drift these are my drift spares foreign next year we'll be parked my yellow Evo I have a yellow Evo 5 that's sitting over in Australia that one also has a built head I don't think it's a built engine but it's got an EVO 8 interior swapped into it I put some miles on it driving across Australia and it's been chilling over at Luke Fink's Place yellow Evo fives are really rare I found one there it was a really good deal I got it and it's been sitting in storage waiting for me to come back and I haven't found the time to get over there but I'm excited to go reacquaintance myself with that car and then bring it over here next year and park it with my other evos and maybe that one will be the streetcar Evo maybe that one will I don't know which will be the streetcar Evo or what all their purposes will be but I feel like I could never have if I could get an EVO in every single color I would it's one of my favorite cars for sure they're great highly recommend and then we got this thing my E36 started by someone messaging me with a 1j E36 that had just crashed into a curb saying hey I really don't want to spend the money to fix this do you want to buy the car I'll drop it off at your shop you don't have to do anything and then I was like okay it was like five grand it had like a bunch of broken arms in the rear but I think there was a parts car out back from PSI so I was able to put everything on it I was like yeah you know what I'll have a 1j thrash car that I won't care about and then it turned into what became our first race car build so this car it wound up going through a couple iterations but I believe the first iteration did have the fiberglass doors I think this was my first beautiful bell raceworks cage and then when clutch kicker series came about the car went through some iterations to become a competitive car for clutch kickers now this car we're about to talk about next was a purpose-built race car but as a shop we had built a lot of lz-spec high hybrid race car street cars but never a full race car so this was the first time we really got to play around and just kind of keep it simple and put a lot of our ideas into reality so you'll notice this car is extremely simple it's a 2J it's still got a stock intake manifold on it still got a brake booster and unfortunately we have some remnants of last weekend's damage we had something fail in the engine we haven't had time to like fully diagnose what happened but I believe something broke off the block like one of the accessories wedged the belt and put so much tension that it actually snapped the crankshaft this 3.4 liter 2J made some good power and went through three seasons one season in FD car one season in clutch kickers got a refresh check over and then went through another season of clutch kickers and then wound up letting go but car's super simple still front radiator which was one of my preferred choices I don't like cutting up the rear cars and sticking the radiator in the rear even though it's better for grip I just feel like you can feel the weight behind the rear axle kind of create like a pendulum effect with the car SLR angle kit which feels fantastic M3 brakes on the inside it's got a full ECU Master ECU digital dash and PDM Recaro pull position seats it's got a cool suit a fancy Motorsport grade harness and then in the rear again this car is going through a couple iterations where it used to be a bit more simpler in the rear and then we wound up I think after a pretty big crash cutting out most of the rear and doing what we like to think of as a very simple drift spec bash bar you kind of start with a strong Center section and then you create these separate Loops so that way when you crash you don't crash into the actual structure of the car these are made to be weaker sometimes you'll even drill them so when you hit a wall like you can have some Flex like you'll see the bumper doesn't even really touch it you've kind of got multiple crumple zones to avoid destroying the car it's got a quick change diff in the rear we've got our cool drift HQ covers because we are a distributor and dealer of Winter's quick changes we usually have a couple on the Shelf so if you're in a bind and you need one for your next drift comp hit us up and you'll notice it has a separate rear radiator I wanted a little bit of extra cooling but I didn't want to go full rear radiator so we experimented by adding a second drag style radiator that comes off the back of the head of the 2J and it just let the car cool down a little bit more add a little bit more volume to the system and instead of getting to say 2 30 at the end of one lap like it used to it would get to maybe 210 so it made a pretty big difference and it was very easy very simple to add favorite car to drift all day this car I feel like as a driver as a competitive driver this car is kind of transformed what I've been able to do just because it's been so simple and it's been so reliable that it's allowed me to really just be a great driver this car great car had a lot of mechanical issues running Formula Drift and stuff and I feel like in the back of my head I was always thinking about my setup feeling weird or and this engine issue or that engine issue where we kept it so simple with this car that I was really just able to go out have fun and push myself as a driver the color is maritime blue this is a custom carbon roof I forget the company that made it but I think this is one of their first iterations it was really hard to find a carbon roof for an E36 and I wanted one forever because I had a stupid sunroof I hate sunroofs with a passion but it was molded on you can still see a little bit of the blend line and then this car among some of my other cars that are more race car have plastics for performance polycarbonate it's cool they come looking like a factory setup you know with all the lines and everything and they're very easy to install and they're actually very inexpensive it's a company from the UK this car has a rear window quarters front windshield CRX has it S15 has it if you order it let them know that I sent you so maybe they'll help me out when I continue to build more cool race cars the this car will be the last one that we'll talk about until we dive into the four rotor Supra this is my FD S15 this car was built by njuku racing shout out bub Fab and then we ran it made some engine changes it went down from a 3-4 to a three liter uh I missed the three four I like the three four a lot more than three liter and right now we've finally just got it put back together after a long time of being down but it's got a couple weird little wiring issues that we've got to sort through so it's not ready to rip just yet this will probably just be kind of like a fun car for special occasions until it needs a purpose but all day I would rather choose driving the E36 which by the way favorite memory with this for sure doing backies at the compound having like a freaking race car at the compound like not this compound but like the OG compound uh huge smiles foreign I think it caught fire a couple times doing burnouts those were good memories but definitely doing the back keys this car it is so sick on the inside doing the fade was something that was like a big moment for me I wanted my car to look cool and flashy and like I've always been under the uh idea of Clean Street car no Livery unless it's a freaking sick Livery and I was lucky enough to have a livery made by d-magic in 2020 I think it was my favorite Livery of all time and then this is the one he did in 2021 still very good but I might do a repop of the 2020 Livery which is actually similar to what's on the E36 right now but this car started the fade that is synonymously connected to the LZ brand and even the seats got the fade it has a 6xd sequential in it it's got the ECU Master PDM dry sum EC Master Digital dash fully stitched welded and powder coated chassis like this is as race car as it gets when it comes to race car we kind of used some of this car for inspiration when building the E36 but like tried to cut costs dramatically because this is a very expensive and complicated car it's got the fuel cell in the back it's got the radiator in the back open the trunk and you can kind of see the crash system that's in this car but this car did operate for three years of Formula Drift I won a couple battles it's not like I was a champion with this car or anything but it certainly was a competitive car and maybe one day it'll find itself back in four-wheel Drift But for now uh she's just getting refreshed to look good again we'll get her dialed so we can have some fun and you notice I put it back on the blitz03s when we had to run the monster truck Nitto 315 the car kind of looked a little wonky but now she's slammed again on the good old Blitz o3s which fun fact it was never like an intentional plan for me to put blitzes on this car I just couldn't get a wheel sponsor in time and I was like you know what screw it I got all these Blitz faces I rung up three PCOS and they're like sure we love to build all these to suit your FD car so you can go drift on them and then a great partnership was born and then I became a meme for the reason why blitzo three prices went crazy even though it wasn't my fault and they were kind of crazy anyway I love this car it's beautiful I know you guys love it it's probably one of the most synonymous cars with the lzmfg brand and I look forward to driving it and creating many more memories in 2022 find his memory with this car probably in 2020 battling Chelsea denofa I think we got it one more time and wind up getting fourth place at that round in my first pro season Adam LC is going to initiate that first outside LLC you can see the composure Ron you really talked about quite a bit he said this kid's got it man can he get his first ever FD Pro Podium finish look at the cloud of smoke there off in the distance run latte says one more time and Brian Eggert says one more time we're going at it again ah a I never had the intention of driving Pro and Formula Drift I only did it because there was a modified covet season I could get away with only doing four rounds and then I kind of got myself uh stuck in the system where then I decided I want to go back to prospec and I wound up doing Pro again but a rounds is a big undertaking it's a big life choice but I love it and it pushes me to be a better competitor driving with some of the best people in the world also a really great memory taking this in Christmas shopping with Colette sticking a tree on the roof doing donuts around the tree ripping on the streets foreign 's definitely driven on the street a lot for an FD car but some of my Fondest Memories are definitely doing that last but not least our latest creation foreign this is an A90 Supra that I bought crashed it had a rear quarter damage to it and then implemented a street Hunter wide body kit this also has a cage kits roll cage the purpose of this car is fun and actually what happened with this I had an fdr7 and I was going to put this four rotor in it that Mike Vargas built for me it's an n a full peripheral ported four rotor custom Header by Johann engine bay is obviously still not completely done this thing probably has a couple more weeks left in it it is a dry summed four rotor that'll probably make somewhere in the 600 range running to about 11 000 RPM on the interior we've got a couple hgk carbon bits like the center console it's got a ECU Master keypad an HGT sequential transmission and the the purpose of this car is literally just a cool looking modern car that's going to be fun I bought this four rotor for my FD and then I realized that the four rotor was going to be way too race car for what I wanted the streetcar FDR seven to feel like so I said you know what I will find the coolest chassis ideally something crashed that I won't care to thrash and beat the crap out of because I want to enjoy that engine and I knew I wouldn't have enjoyed it in an fdrx7 with how expensive they are and uh how I wanted to use it in the rear it has an hgk subframe with a Winner's Quick Change it's basically the beefiest setup you can run for drifting again from drift HQ holla at your boys if you need it and then this car is full wise Fab in the rear and the front purpose drift events like Festival big style wow flashy bring smiles to lots of people's faces and then also figure out a way that we can change over the rear setup and use this for some time attack style driving as well purpose is to put smiles on me while I drive it and smiles for you guys and it is definitely on track to that sounds insane we were able to start it up at the event foreign foreign I'll put a clip in the video here looking forward to finishing this and creating some amazing memories with it so there you have it this is pretty much my entire car collection many more to come in 2023 this is the first video that you've seen I hope you join along for the ride I got to give a special thank you to a lot of the partners that have helped make these cars possible including BC racing Nitto ECU Master dishworks radium vibrant Garrett I didn't even mention GeForce my new favorite transmission ever that I've run in the E36 raise huge thank you to ignite for fueling all of these beasts k n keeping the air that they suck in clean and of course my own brand drift HQ now a reminder if you want to see these cars race side by side it's not going to be all of them but I think we should be able to line up probably at least 18. smash the like button leave a comment letting me know what exhaust sound you like the most I'm going to replay them again now but I hope you enjoyed this video and Merry Christmas because I know that that's tomorrow I hope you have a great one and I'll see you guys after the holidays foreign foreign amazing hahaha foreign foreign when you say\n"
