**Cozying Up My New Space**
I'm going to do here, I'm going to add all the things that make me feel cozy, so lighting is a big one for that. So I really like how this table turned out again, very different from what it was styled in the last house and this piece was on the kitchen island. Still need to mess with it a little bit more but I don't have a kitchen island so this didn't really have a home and I love it here because I'm getting like a pop of green and then I also put these books down here and these were also stacked by the fireplace in the last house. Of course, you know me, I gotta add a little bit of green here. Then we have Loki's basket of toys. I love this spot because I don't really have to look at it but he has a spot for his toys.
**Creating a Gallery Wall**
And then we have the gallery wall. This is what I'm thinking of doing around the mirror, so essentially, I'm thinking of a floor mirror. Gold and ornate, that's kind of what I'm going for with my Victorian vintage vibe mixed with French country. So imagine a big mirror which is going to cover up this...and then around the mirror, I'm actually going to do a little bit of a gallery wall so there's going to be a lot of like Victorian prints going around the mirror. I think it's going to be really pretty. Not going to do anything on the sides just because that's where the curtains are going to hang.
**My Favourite Pieces**
The setup is basically identical to how it was in the last house, um, I love this piece, I'm obsessed with this piece and the fact that not a scratch on it. The movers did a really good job of wrapping everything um and taking such good care of it um Nebraska Furniture Mart is where I got it, yeah. Then I have my white tulips here and then I have my lanterns which you saw me put up...the one thing that's not here is the like scroll the metal scroll the top kind of little peak but I'm thinking I'm thinking I might put that piece here I just haven't done it yet because I kinda want to wait for the curtains.
**The Bar Area**
But um yeah, so that's what this looks like now. Here's this little like bar area. Didn't include this in today's video because I don't know how I want to set this up honestly and I don't think I have everything for this so this isn't necessarily a setup piece but it's going to get its own video. We're going to stock this we're going to organize in there and we're going to get this like all pretty. I already have my decorating list started on this so I think I have an idea of how I want to like decorate it essentially...and that is it for the setup of this video.
**The Next Space**
I really love again how it turned out, the fact that it's pretty much funk it is functional um I've got the seating you know there's only a little bit of like little things to do but those decorating videos are coming so you're going to get all all the stuff for every single area of the house. Next up is going to be this space which is like my little kitchen nook...you can see I'm still I'm taking one space at a time that's how I'm doing things and then you guys are going to get the whole kitchen set up also just kind of quickly show you these are my bar stools from the last house they fit the kitchen island but the kitchen island was counter height so these are too short I need pub height for these. But I've already ordered the bar stools and you guys are going to love them um so you're going to get a whole kitchen setup video really soon that's going to be probably Saturday Friday or Saturday's video probably Saturday's video...but I think next up is probably going to be this space is what you're going to see just because again I'm waiting on this.
**Dollar Tree Hauls**
And then dollar tree hauls are coming back as well, I'm very excited to like you know go to my new dollar tree see how they are because you know Dallas Dollar Trees were amazing so it'll be really interesting to kind of like see how the Florida Dollar Trees are I'm sure they're great too but anyhow that's it for the video.

ahead and walk you guys through i actually was not sure if these two white oversized arm chairs would work in this space but i actually really like it's very cozy yes they are very close together but it does give off that that cozy vibe so i really love it micah loves it as well but this is our new couch and it's the matching couch to these chairs which used to be in the library in the last house so now they're going to get used in this space and i'm obsessed because one thing that i took away from the last house was i did not like that couch at all i talked about it a lot anytime i was basically asked about that couch i did tell you guys where i got it but i did say i wouldn't recommend it um so um that's again on my vlog channel in case you don't if you're not subscribed to my vlog channel that's where i talked about the couch so when i moved into this house i knew i won i didn't want to take that couch so i donated it and i wanted to get something that was very comfortable and i really like how deep the cushions are because i like you know chilling and watching movies and so i knew that it would be really good for me to invest in a better couch so the other thing that i did was i ended up going with a different rug but again this is not a new rug this is actually the rug from my media room i will link everything that i can down below for you guys but i am obsessed with this rug now what you'll notice is that it doesn't look centered with the furniture but what i did was i tried to make it centered with the media the tv essentially so i'm not sure how i'm feeling about it i might just move it and make it centered with the couch because it does kind of look off because it does go all the way back here but as you can see because these um chairs are so deep that yeah i have it all the way up against the window and then you can see loki has his new little bed right here which is super cute but i love the combination of this rug the colors um with the white because in the previous living room which i will link my previous living room decorate with me um i love the video um so i'll link it down below but just so you can kind of like see the difference here i am going to be adding pillows so that's to come again this wasn't necessarily a decorating video this was more of a setup video with what i already have so like i don't have curtains yet i'm still trying to decide what kind of curtains i'm going to go with i'm actually going to change them out seasonal or at least twice a year i'm going to have a set for summer and then essentially like a set for fall and winter so i think i'm gonna do curtains very similar to the ones that i had in my kitchen just like the white wispy see-through very light very airy i think those will be really perfect for summer time and then i think for when i start fall i'm gonna do a color that's like this brown this like sand color so yeah anyways so curtains to come pillows to come i am going to be adding more pops of color we're going to be doing a whole like summer decorate with me um and then you can see that basically the end tables look exactly the same as they were in the last house like there's nothing different i have the same lamps the same pictures and everything and i like it like that i don't think right now that there's anything that i want to change and then back here you saw that i had to run a wire underneath the couch just so that i could turn this lamp on but i really like it because you can't even tell how to work that out but because seeing wires kind of like drives me nuts but i think all things considered this isn't bad at all you can't really see it and then back here i have this console table and again if you didn't watch or how the living room was set up in the last house it's linked down below so you can kind of see like where the furniture ended up but i love where it's at now and i've styled it completely different so i had to reuse a lot of things that were once on my fireplace in the last house but as you can see there's no fireplace here it's florida so um but i love these i love adding ambience and lighting and candles i'm telling you if there's one thing that you might want to like do i would add lamps and candles they just they elevate the whole surface and makes it so peaceful and relaxing and something that i would say the biggest takeaway on what i've learned about decorating is create the environment that aligns with what you do in that space so you know if i want to sit here and be cozy and watch movies and like that's what
