40+ Features & Changes in iOS 12.2 for iPhone & iPad

**New Features and Updates in iOS 12.2**

The latest update to iOS 12.2 has brought a plethora of new features and improvements to Apple's mobile operating system. One of the most notable additions is the integration of HTML5 color pickers into the keyboard. This allows users to easily select colors using the keyboard, making it a convenient feature for web developers and designers.

Another significant update is the addition of motion and orientation data in Settings. Users can now toggle this feature on or off, which will allow websites to access information about how their device is being held or oriented. Additionally, there is a new option in Settings that allows users to view more detailed information about their device, including its model name and number.

**Apple Care and Warranty Information**

For users who are concerned about the warranty and support options for their Apple devices, iOS 12.2 has made some significant changes. Users can now access Apple Care directly from the Settings app, where they can view their coverage details, check their renewal date, and even purchase a new plan or upgrade to Apple Care Plus with theft and loss protection.

**Maps App Updates**

The Maps app in iOS 12.2 has also received some significant updates. One of the most notable changes is the addition of an air quality index toggle switch. Users can now turn this feature on or off, which will display the current air quality conditions in the map view, complete with a green bar that indicates the level of pollution.

**News App Updates**

The News app in iOS 12.2 has also been updated to include a new subscription service called Apple News. This service offers users access to a curated selection of news articles and stories from around the world. The app now features a new logo, which uses the Apple icon alongside the words "news" in all caps.

**Control Center Updates**

In Control Center, iOS 12.2 has added a new screen mirroring toggle switch. Users can now easily enable or disable screen mirroring, making it a convenient feature for streaming content to other devices.

**Additional Features and Devices Support**

Finally, iOS 12.2 has also added support for several new devices, including the AirPods Second Generation and the wireless charging case, AirPower. This means that users with these devices will be able to take full advantage of their features once they have updated to this latest release.

**Conclusion**

With its numerous updates and improvements, iOS 12.2 is shaping up to be a significant update for Apple fans around the world. From new features in the keyboard and Settings app to improved support for various devices and services, there's something for everyone in this latest release.
