The Ultimate Gaming PC Project

Building the Ultimate Gaming PC: An Indiegogo Project Concept

The concept of building the ultimate gaming PC has been on my mind for a while now, and I've decided to explore it further by creating an Indiegogo project. Building such a massive gaming PC would be expensive, with prices ranging from $2,000 to upwards of $10,000 or more. However, as someone who isn't the biggest PC gamer myself, I wouldn't have the time or use for such a powerful machine. That's why I'd like to gauge the interest level of my audience to see if this project is something that would be worth pursuing.

To gauge the interest level, I'm considering creating an Indiegogo campaign where I'll pitch the idea of building the ultimate gaming PC and list out the specs for potential contributors. The idea behind this campaign is to allow people to contribute to the project by backing it with their money, in exchange for perks that range from small to large. For example, at $10 contribution point, one could get a limited-edition Unbox Therapy t-shirt, while at a higher price point, they might be able to get a signed set of headphones or even have their name engraved on the PC case.

The project would involve building and testing the ultimate gaming PC, featuring the latest components and technologies. I'd also like to include some interactive elements, such as live streams and giveaways, to make the experience more engaging for contributors. Of course, at the end of it all, I would give away the completed gaming PC to one lucky contributor, which would add an extra layer of excitement and motivation to participate.

One idea that I'm considering is setting up a multi-monitor setup to showcase the capabilities of the ultimate gaming PC. Imagine being able to drive multiple monitors with high refresh rates, fast response times, and crisp resolution, creating an immersive gaming experience like never before. This would be a great opportunity to test the limits of this powerful machine and push it to its full potential.

If you're interested in contributing to this project or just want to see how it progresses, I'd love to hear your thoughts and suggestions. What kind of perks would you like to see included in the campaign? Would you like to be a contributor to help make this project a reality? Let me know by leaving a comment below.

"WEBVTTKind: captionsLanguage: enthis episode of unbox therapy is brought to you by Netflix what's up guys Lou here and thank you for joining me for what is normally the inreview show the weekly show where I go more in depth into some of the products that were featured during the previous week on unbox therapy today I want to do something a little bit different not because I don't want to review the products but because I got this new idea that I really want to run past you guys and see if you would be interested in moving forward with it it's a new project not a new channel or anything like that a new project for the unbox therapy Channel and I want to gauge your guys interest level so what what is the project um you probably realize that the two last pro products that I unboxed on the channel were an a media game capture card for PC and of course Diablo II the collector's edition now those two products have something in common they're both designed to be used on a gaming PC well you guys probably know I don't have a gaming PC in fact uh the number one criticism on my room tour SL gaming setup video was that I didn't have a gaming PC I had a couple of different Macs I had uh like a million gaming consoles I had a lot of things but I did not have a gaming PC and so I asked you guys on numerous occasions how many of you are into that kind of crazy high-end gaming PC equipment and the response has normally been pretty good you guys are like you know what I wouldn't mind checking out some more gaming PC related equipment and so the purpose for this video here is to pitch an idea to you guys I'm thinking about a project on unbox therapy called the ultimate gaming PC project and the way it would work is that I would go out get the topof the range components every single component that you need to build the ultimate gaming PC under a certain budget of course and then you guys could watch the unboxing videos and as they came along we would get to the finale which would be the the ultimate build where I'd put it together maybe do a time lapse or maybe talk about the reason different components were chosen put it together boot up the Beast install some games and uh you know that would be the end of it so you could follow along during the creation so first of all before I go any further let me know down in the comments if that interests you what your interest level is I don't know maybe between 5 and 10 uh you know or zero and 10 if you have Z zero interest level but let me know down in the comments if it's not something that you'd be at all interested in well no need to hate on the video or anything like that just let me know hey Lou you know I'm not personally into that kind of stuff so I can sort of gauge the interest level of course if we do move forward with it you could always skip those videos if you're not into that kind of equipment but this brings me to the second part of the concept obviously building the ultimate gaming PC is going to be expensive you could spend a couple Grand at it easily and and the other side uh of that is that I'm not the hugest PC Gamer I don't have all the time in the world to be gaming on all these platforms and all the rest of it when I'm trying to run all these different channels and all this different content so I really don't have a huge use for a massive Beast of a gaming PC and I probably wouldn't use it as much as you guys would so I found this website called indiegogo.com and what they do is they do group funded projects so there'll be a pitch a person will pitch an idea and then everybody can put some money into the pot and the project can move forward and in in exchange for contributions people get perks now perks can be a number of different things as you guys know I normally do giveaways so I got a lots of extra product lying around so I figure we could put the ultimate gaming PC project on indiegogo.com which is kind of like Kickstarter and uh list out the specs and then have different contribution points where you guys could come along look at the perks contribute to the project if you really want to see it happen so that we can get the budget to go forward and build build it and feature it now um the way that it works is I would do like say5 $10 $15 contribution points and each one would have better perks as you went up the list you could have like say at $15 you could have like limited edition unbox therapy t-shirts that I could make or you could have at a higher price point you could have a set of headphones that I could sign or you know I don't know exactly what it would be you can give me suggestions down below for what you'd like to see as perks at what at which contribution points but here's the the most amazing part of it all is that at the end of it all I would give away the gaming PC anyways so if you did contribute you'd stand a chance at gaining some massive gaming PC too so anyways it's just an idea right now guys I've been thinking about it for a while I think it would be a lot of fun to do only because I haven't built a PC in a while and it would be interesting to see what kind of performance we could generate on something more modern and current and also I know a lot of you are into that kind of stuff so I just want to gauge the interest level if you hate the idea don't hate on the video just let me know in the comments that you're not personally into it so I can gauge interest so anyway guys that's been the ultimate PC project explanation ultimate gaming PC project explanation maybe we could set up a bunch of monitors do some of that uh you know uh racing games where we where we set up multim monitor like I drove down in uh down when I was at CES I drove one of those setups maybe we could do something like that let me know your suggestions down below plus your interest level and other than that I'm going to let you roll out on a word from the sponsor of this particular episode all right later guys now I'm sure that many of you have already heard about Netflix but for those of you who haven't used the service it's pretty straightforward it'll stream TV shows and movies straight into your home saving you time money and hassle as a Netflix unlimited member you can instantly watch TV episodes and movies streaming directly to your PC Mac or right to your TV with your Xbox 360 PS3 or Nintendo Wii console watch as many movies as you want any time you want plus you can cancel any time for a limited time only get a free 30day trial membership just go to netflix.com theapy and sign up now please don't forget the/ theapy portion of the URL in order to let them know that we sent you over and also to help support the show all right guys that's all for this episode I'll catch you on the next one thanks as always for watching and doing everything you can to help support unbox therapy later herethis episode of unbox therapy is brought to you by Netflix what's up guys Lou here and
