New Changes and Features in iOS 13 b-26 Beta 6

In this video, we take a look at new changes and features in iOS 13 b-26 beta 6. One of the new features is that you can now hide link previews which appear when you long press. To do this, simply go to the context menu at the bottom of your screen and tap on "Hide Link Previews". This will allow you to see only the URL instead of the full preview.

Another subtle change in beta 6 of iOS 13 is that the dark mode toggle has been renamed. Now, it says "Dark" instead of "Light and Dark", making it easier to switch between light and dark modes. To invoke dark mode, simply tap on the toggle. Additionally, a new dark appearance toggle can be found in the Control Center, allowing you to control dark mode directly from this location.

Adjusting volume has also been improved in beta 6 of iOS 13. Instead of having 30+ different increments, there are now only 16 instruments to choose from when changing volume. This makes it easier and more intuitive to adjust the volume on your device. Furthermore, adjusting the flashlight is also a breeze in this latest beta. You can now control it with one motion, just like you used to be able to do on previous betas.

In addition to these features, the LTE icon has returned to its normal size, which was previously super-sized in a previous beta. The folder background on the homescreen is also more saturated than before, taking on the properties of your wallpaper in a more pronounced way. This gives the folder a fresh new look that complements your device's overall aesthetic.

The Photos app now has a new splash screen that tells you what's new, and the App Store app also has a new splash screen with the same feature. If you have libraries syncing disabled on your Music app, it will notify you at the top of the library tab, allowing you to tap and turn library syncing on without having to visit the Settings app.

This latest beta also brings a new feature that allows you to access local radio stations directly from the Music app. When searching for a radio station, you may find one in your local area, which you can play right within the Music app. As an example, if you search for "I Heart Radio", it is live and can be played right away.

In another interesting feature, triple-tapping on a single screen element will bring up the little copy and piece menu, just like normal when editing text. However, in beta 6, there appears to be some extra functionality above this menu, which allows you to triple tap anywhere not just in a text field. This may not be useful on the home screen, but it's an interesting addition nonetheless.

Finally, a bonus feature for watchOS 6 is that the heart rate monitor now has a nice-looking red heart icon, which is a fresh new look for this feature.
