havelightning here and then also I forgotone more thing under here there is yourlightning to USB type a so nothingreally exciting there it's just asexpected and if we open these up you'llsee it's got the little light on thefront now if I set them on a wirelesscharger this is the charger I normallyuse let's see if it charges yetnow you'll see on the side here it'sactually charging this is a chargeindicator light so it's charging therebut let me pair these with my iPhone andwe'll see if they pair more quickly oranything like that so here's my iPhonelet's open these up and that was prettyquick we'll hit connect and they'repaired so it's 81 percent and let's seeif it tells us anything about chargingnow it's blinking again I don't know ifyou can see that down here that it'scharging but let's see if we go to awidget here you'll see we have the airpods and the air pods case so just asexpected now what I'll do is let's takethis out of here let's compare it withthe previous generation and see if it'sany different at allso let's take the right one out of hereas well this could be confusing but ithas the same exact design it looks likeso they're basically identical thebottom is identical and this side isidentical as well so it'd be really easyto mistake these but it's hard to saywhich one sounds better so I'm gonnatake a listen to these see what itsounds like and see if it's actually alittle bit better also the finish onthis looks a little more shiny I don'tknow if that's because of its less wornor not but you can also pair these viabluetooth to any Bluetooth device so letme listen to these for a moment and thenswap back and forth and see what theysound like I've been listening to theair pods 2nd generation for a fewand I would say they sound a little bitclearer maybe a tiny bit clearer thanthe previous generation about the samethe sound is pretty even bass mids andhighs are fairly even you're not goingto get any booming bass out of these oranything like that now they're supposedto connect more quickly and you'll seehere let me stick this in my ear so ittries to connect and I'll hit connect itdoesn't seem to connect terribly fastsometimes it connects quickly sometimesit doesn't currently it's connected tomy Mac Mini and I want to show youbecause I haven't been seeing thisconnect superfast now it's connected andif we go home you'll see we've got thelittle headphones here now and if weslide over there's the air pods so it'stelling left and right and one thing Ifound is if I use the Samsung chargerput this on here it seems to charge justfine right away and then this light willkind of go out so I don't know this is aqi wireless standard but it doesn't tellus that the actual charge level of thecase itself while it's charging and if Igo into the settings there isn't a wholelot of new settings it has the samethings basically as the previousgeneration you can adjust the air podSiri play pause next track previoustrack just by tapping them or doubletapping them and then the same thing forthe left or right ear pod and thenautomatic ear detection and themicrophone as well so always left airpod always right air pod so it workspretty well just like the other air podsI would say they sound a little bitcleaner but nothing fantastic comparedto really high-end earphones but theconvenience outweighs all of that formost people so I'll be using these overthe next week or so and I'll see howthey work between here and my Mac Minithe previous generation were almostunusable with my Mac or my macbook theywould just cut in and out constantlythey worked fine with iOS devices butnot the Mac itself so something's weirdthere but I'll be using them andhopefully they're a little bit betterand the previous ones only get about oneand a half to two hours of battery lifeafter using them for two years so thiswill be a welcome change to get aboutfive hours of battery life supposedlyand they charge in 15 minutesinside herethat will give it three hours oflistening also this supposedly provides24 hours plus of charging for theseearphones so we'll see it's supposed tobe faster and more stable in the Serieit does work I tried it out nothing thatI'd really use regularly though let meknow your thoughts about the secondgeneration air pods of course it doesn'tsay anything here as far as
