Lenovo 4K ThinkVision 28

The Evolution of ThinkVision Displays: A Smart Display with a Touch of Style

We've taken this monitor to the affordable price point of $799, and we've made two iterations of it. The first iteration is our ThinkVision Pro line, priced at $799, which offers a more professional-grade design. On the other hand, we have our ThinkVision 28 Smart Display, which shares the same 4K display but now features touchscreen capabilities. We've aimed to create a more stylish and consumer-friendly design for this new smart display.

One of the key features that set the ThinkVision 28 Smart Display apart is its ability to switch seamlessly between monitor mode and Android device mode. When plugged in, the display can drive Windows content, but when unplugged, it leaves behind a full Android platform. This allows users to access their favorite apps and enjoy 4K content on the go. The display runs on the latest Nvidia Integra platform with KitKat 4.4, providing a robust ecosystem of features and capabilities.

One of the most notable advantages of this smart display is its ability to scale smoothly and beautifully when running apps optimized for tablets on the Google Play Store. We tested this feature with popular titles like Angry Birds 2 and Star Wars: Angry Birds 2, and it performed admirably. The display's 4K resolution makes a significant difference in terms of image quality, making it an excellent choice for entertainment and productivity.

In addition to its impressive display capabilities, the ThinkVision 28 Smart Display also boasts a range of connectivity options. It features multiple USB ports, as well as HDMI and DisplayPort connections on one side. This allows users to connect their favorite devices, including PS4s, Xbox Ones, and laptops like the X1 Carbon. With so many inputs available, users have the freedom to connect whatever device they want, making it an ideal choice for home entertainment and gaming.

Storage is a crucial aspect of any device, and the ThinkVision 28 Smart Display has a relatively modest storage capacity of 32GB. However, with the ability to expand storage via USB, users can access their favorite content and apps without worrying about running out of space. The display's compact size and sleek design make it an excellent choice for small offices or home entertainment centers.

In conclusion, the ThinkVision 28 Smart Display represents a significant evolution in display technology, offering a unique blend of style, functionality, and affordability. With its touchscreen capabilities, seamless switching between monitor mode and Android device mode, and impressive display quality, this smart display is poised to revolutionize the way we interact with our devices. Whether you're looking for an excellent entertainment solution or a versatile productivity tool, the ThinkVision 28 Smart Display is definitely worth considering.
