The Christmas Tree Tradition Continues: A Family Affair

As the holiday season approaches, our family gathers together to create a magical atmosphere in our home. The centerpiece of this tradition is the Christmas tree, carefully selected and decorated by loved ones. This year's tree was picked out by Dad, who exclaimed, "I picked the perfect tree! It's going to be 30 feet tall!" The tree was purchased for $30, a price tag that reflects its size and potential.

The decorating process began with the placement of a star on top of the tree, followed by the addition of garland and other festive decorations. Mom took charge of hanging the ornaments, carefully selecting each one to add to the overall beauty of the display. Dad, meanwhile, was responsible for setting up the lighting system, which added a warm glow to the tree. As they worked, the family chatted and laughed, enjoying each other's company.

As the decorating progressed, Hunter, the youngest member of the family, became fascinated with the tree. He sat in his chair, watching as his dad carefully placed ornaments on the branches. Dad explained that Junior had been built via a kit years ago, and David was delighted by this tidbit of family history.

Finally, it was time for the pièce de résistance: pie. Mom had baked an apple crumb pie, topped with a delicate frost, which was met with gasps of amazement from everyone present. "It's going to be epic," Dad declared, as he and Kristen shared a slice (or three).
