The Juice Pack Access: A Hands-On Review
We're excited to bring you our hands-on review of the brand-new juice pack access from Mophie for the iPhone 10, 10s, 10s max, and XR. This latest iteration on Murphy's signature juice pack battery case is designed to fit all of the latest iPhones and comes in four distinct colors.
The Juice Pack Access Differentiates Itself
What really differentiates this new juice pack from its predecessors is the bottom design, which is completely open. This allows for easy access to the Lightning port, making it simple to charge your phone without having to remove any other accessories. The case also features a USB C port that uses 10 watts of input power and then outputs five watts of power to the battery case, ensuring that your phone always gets priority charging. Additionally, thanks to Priority Plus Charging, your phone will be charged first before the juice pack is recharged.
The Battery Case Design
The Juice Pack Access has a fairly slim design, making it comfortable to carry around in your pocket or purse. The chromed buttons on both the right and left sides of the case provide easy access to power and volume controls. A small button on the back displays 25% battery indicators, allowing you to keep track of how much juice is left in the juice pack.
The Colors Available
The Juice Pack Access comes in four distinct colors: blue (also known as Slate), red, black, and white. The blue color matches that of the iPhone XR, which features a different finish than the iPhone 10s and 10s max. Each color has a unique design and feel to it.
Hands-On Experience
When we put on the Juice Pack Access, we were pleased with how it felt in our hand. The case has a solid premium feel to it, making us confident that it would withstand daily wear and tear. The top of the case comes apart easily, allowing you to quickly insert or remove your phone.
Charging Time
According to Mophie, users can expect up to 25 hours of charged time on smaller iPhone models, while the iPhone XR max model will get 31 hours of charged time. This is a significant boost in battery life compared to previous juice pack designs.
Conclusion
We're huge fans of battery cases like the Juice Pack Access, and this latest iteration does not disappoint. The open design makes it easy to charge your phone without having to remove any other accessories, while the Priority Plus Charging system ensures that your phone always gets priority charging. With four distinct colors available, there's something for everyone in this lineup. Whether you're a fan of traditional colors or prefer one of the bright colors, we think you'll love the Juice Pack Access.
