We Finally Made a MAJOR Upgrade To The Shop!

The New Two Post Lift: A Game Changer for Our Shop

We're really excited to announce that our shop is now equipped with a brand new two post lift. This is going to be a huge game changer for us, allowing us to work on multiple projects at once and be way more productive in the process.

Before we even started building this lift, we had to figure out how to make some significant changes to our layout. We really didn't lose any of that storage space if we needed it, just that we needed a little bit more work to pull the cars in and out every day. But now, with the option to use a whole two post lift, we can work on two cars at once which will be a huge help for us.

We're really excited about this new development because it's going to allow us to be way more efficient and get more done in less time. We've got these posts in place where they need to be, everything is measured out double checked, and we went ahead and ordered or rented a Makita hammer drill so we can go ahead and drill our holes and get this sucker bolted into the ground.

We'll go ahead and bust those holes out, Hammer the studs down, and we can get these bolts in place. We can then continue to get the lift all put back together, run some electrical probably sometime next week, and get some hydraulic fluid in there. And with it being up and operational, we'll have ourselves another two post lift.

We're really excited about this new lift because it's going to give us a little obstacle course for my F22. Oh no, she's back! She's gone kidding me so now that the new lift is up as you can see, we got the MR2 parked over here and the orange NSX is right in between it.

We're going to be relocating the black NSX since it's just sitting most of the time. We found a special spot for it - it's going to be sitting poolside. I think it's going to like its new home and we just got to figure out if we can get it over there and if it will fit where I want it to.

We gave her a quick rinse since it's been sitting, got really dusty but we're going to go ahead and move it over by the pool. We've got our trailer ramps and we tried to get it up and over this little block of wood that we had kind of over in the yard there. I don't know if this is going to work, we have these like pulls but I think we can kind of finagle it through there.

The NSX looks great - she's looking pretty. I didn't want it to get left outside or anything like that make sure it had a nice covered spot and it stays really nice back over here by the house so it will sit there until we do something with it but that is it for this video. Hope you guys enjoyed.

Storage Solutions

With our new two post lift, we're not done yet! We have to figure out some storage because as you saw we have a whole wall of engines and transmissions, tons of parts inside the shop, wheels, and tires so I was looking at some like shipping containers and possibly trying to find somewhere we could put a little outdoor storage shed.

We did have to relocate the NSX to the backyard over here and that is where she will sit. It's nice having her in poolside now. We'll see you later!

"WEBVTTKind: captionsLanguage: enas you guys know we run the MR2 on a fueltech ft600 fastest MR2 in the world we got a fueltech ft550 why it's 13B Corolla we even got an ft450 running our turbo shopping go-kart here we run pretty much everything we have here on a fuel t unit ever since we switched to fueltech our whole operation has just evolved and it has made our lives so much easier just having one engine management running everything we have in the fleet here I mean I'm even getting ready to throw one on our freaking Jessi they are just awesome units they have a ton of technical support and they help us out as well if you guys use our code boosted Boys on fuel tech.net anything you order off there you will save 10% off your order and as of right now they're also running a sale all the way till the end of April which you can save up to $300 on select fuel Tech units and use our code for an additional savings so they have just been a huge help for us in our program and I can't thank them enough for the support they give us and the channel and now is a great time for one of you guys to get one for yourself hey man can I finally have my engine back yeah now that it's finally broken in yeah thanks for breaking her in for me yeah I got you dude had two whole minutes of runtime on it before I put it in here why it's been borrowing my motor ever since sick week yep putting it through its Paces I've been nice to her though I Got That Tune fresh didn't detonate this thing once but we just got back back from Cletus and cars and our boy Mike got us Wyatt's Engine Back rebuilt and ready to go back into the Corolla here so we're going to go ahead and get this one out and it will end up going back into the sidekick and we might be changing some things on the sidekick around but for right now got to at least get this thing out of the Cora and get your new engine in yep the uh new one's ready to go like Kyle said uh ended up spinning the front bearing just so you guys have a recap on that and it didn't hurt the rotors or the anything else there so Doritos are okay yeah Doritos were good so that saved us some money it does have a new RX8 e shaft in it um and then a new front bearing support bearing and some other stuff in there but wasn't too much to get it fixed luckily it was not a a big uh- oh uh but yeah should be good to go so we're going to put it back in this thing so that I can turn it up and not worry about blowing up my own engine instead of Kyle's and having two broken Doritos this dude's been talking about putting a bigger turbo on this thing and sending I'm like dude chill that's my Dorito box in there still all right we got my rotary pulled out back over there all reliable old nasty hey she's been she might not be the prettiest but she's been proven to be robust she works that's for sure overheated multiple times putting in work multiple burnouts yeah a sick week most of one yeah you ripping on it some passes yep we've been beating the crap out of it lately so racing R8s and stuff so you know and our thought with that is if it ain't broke don't fix it so we set it aside stick it back in the sidekick yep should be good to go be good to go and then why went ahead and got his new one unboxed and unwrapped and got it made it up to the transmission here and ready to go back into the Corolla yep we got some things we got to address once it's in there uh just cleaning up buttoning up some changing and stuff but uh we're going to get it mostly together tonight and hopefully by the weekend it'll be ready to rip so let's go ahead slam this thing in there real quick all right the roller is all back together yep it's like 99% done so we got to throw the hood on it real quick and I got a new oil cooler that hopefully will not break again because if you guys didn't know we actually broke our spare of a spare already and uh so yeah we're going to be upgrading that but otherwise she's good to go me and Kyle are taking a fixing to take it down the street here yep she's back together just in time for lunch yep so we're going to grab some food real quick see what the little girl does see how she runs and uh we'll go from there on it back together with a fresh Dorito box y thanks to Angel Motorsports Mike thanks Mike yeah appreciate you getting this thing back together for us WP WP baby you need to get a new steering wheel in this thing yeah this one fits the vibe though man like got my little horn button on here and everything yeah I don't know definitely could use some attention I need to find somebody that can refinish it CU this this is the vibe big old boat steering wheel I love this car new motor's running pretty good yeah just breaking her in right you know the deal well guys we got some shop upgrades today I'm pretty excited about it's been about 3 years that I have lived out here in Florida as you guys know I moved out here I just packed everything up from Colorado and headed on down one of the first things I did right when I got into the shop was obviously get a lift so we could start working get some tools I slowly kind of got everything set up the whole time we have been working working on cars and had a shop setup I've only had one lift even in the Colorado shop we only had the one lift so at times things were limited and even right now as you can see we have the 2J Civic up on the lift that Wyatt has been working on for quite some time and he has been doing a lot of sheet metal work it's been really tedious so it's been needing to stay on the lift while we have been needing to do some other things and if you look behind me we have the MR2 the two nsx's and we have you know a solid couple hundred square ft right here of just storage space inside the shop it is really nice to keep these things inside the shop cuz they are some of our nicer cars but we do need to try to get some more work done my original plan was to come out here you know put the lift up I was really happy with this setup I didn't want to add anything more to this shop because I was really hoping we could grind really hard and possibly get another piece of land and build a shop that's bigger and batter or a bigger property that we could upgrade to but as of right now it just hasn't happened stuff's expensive so we're going to go ahead and upgrade the shop that we have have here and all these cars are going to have to find a new home which we'll figure out later I don't know what we're going to do yet but if you look right down here we got ourselves another lift from our boys over at benac and this is a 10 AP 10,000 lb two poost lift and we're going to be sticking this guy right here basically in the middle of where the NSX is and MR2 is so now with a second lift up in the shop we will be able to do more at the same time while I can stay busy working over there I have some other stuff that I've been trying to work on so I've been swapping the lift with him here and there so now we won't have to share and we'll have two lifts and we're going to go ahead and start unpackaging this thing and work on getting it installed and then we'll have to find a home for all of this stuff as you guys saw I recently got that car port outside that's already pretty filled up we're probably going to have to get some car CS for this thing we're really limited on storage out here but I'd much rather make this space behind me a usable Works Space instead of just storing the cars inside the shop here all right guys we got the lift unwrapped and out of the way cuz right now we need to go ahead and move the two nsx's over and the MR2 this poor black NSX man bought it just sits there collecting dust and now we got to move it out of its storage spot we'll definitely find a safe place for this thing to go I should really clean it up and drive it some more cuz it would make a cool daily but the orange NSX should fire up and run the MR2 fires up and runs this needs a jump box and then after we get this stuff moved out of the way we're going to also have to address what we want to do with some of these engines and Transmissions we have back here this is kind of a little storage spot we have up against the wall all that's going to have to get cleaned up and moved out of the way we'll figure that stuff out later for right now we need to get this stuff moved so we can go ahead and stand these up and get everything situated where we want it to see where this lift is going to live and go from there that poor thing's so dusty I know definitely need to get a give it a bath Walt out here all right we got the post ready to be lifted up into position here is just like how me and why installed this one I'm pretty sure just me and him were able to get these by ourselves part call I think we did I don't maybe we had friends over to help lift the post I don't know we're about to find out we ain't going to do it today so we got everything measured out here on the floor we're going to try to line it up about right where this one is we got it centered with the shop door over here make it look as aesthetically pleasing as possible but get it lined up with our existing lift but that's where it's going to LIF live went ahead and got the cables ran some hydraulic lines in place so if we're ready to start lifting these things up and shum where they need to be then we can drill the holes into the concrete pound our studs in and bolt them down easy not too bad all right now we can get this one position over here second up honestly that was way less nerve-wracking than it was the first time yeah that felt like really easy I'm pretty sure it was just me and you and that's why I'm pretty sure and I think a lot of it was that I was scared and I'm like you know something goes south it's all on W here I'm going with it dude like the means I'm getting catapulted with it nice check it out guys we got two lifts stood up in the shop here looking pretty sweet I definitely like that this space is all opened up and not just car storage and we could still store three cars in this space if we needed to cuz we could just put one up on the lift one underneath and then we still have room for a third car on the side of it over here so we really didn't lose any of that storage space if we needed it just we'll take a little bit more work to you know pull the cars in and out every day but now we have the option of using a whole two poost lift right here so that should help us be way more productive when this one is being taken up and something else needs to get done we can work on two cars on the lift at once which will be a huge help for us and uh yeah really excited to get this thing all bolted down we got these uh posts in place where they need to be everything is measured out double checked everything and I went ahead and went over to Home Depot and I ordered or uh rented a Makita hammer drill so we can go ahead and drill our holes and get this sucker bolted into the ground this is actually the next day I was going to do that last night but it was getting a little late in the day and I didn't want to pay for 2 days worth of tool rental if I couldn't get it back in time so picked that up this morning we'll go ahead and bust those holes out Hammer the studs down and we can get these bolted into place and we can continue to get the lift all put back together run some electrical probably sometime next week and get some hydraulic fluid in there and we'll have ourselves another two poost lift from our boys over at BAC really excited about this guys he all right guys new lift is up we just got to get this thing wired up get some fluid in it and she will be up and operational now we have a little obstacle come very very slow good y all right easy okay right good you got to way yep going just like that more right there unit tell me you have a bachelor pad without telling me you have a bachelor pad just NSX pull side great now I'm be trying to sleep he's going to be out here revving this I'm going hear it all night I mean it sounds pretty good it does sound pretty good I ain't going to lie not bad that's where El should live boys just a poolside NSX all right guys that's going to wrap it up for this video really excited to have a second two poost lift from Ben Pat going up in the shop should definitely help help us be more productive and I'm also looking at doing a second toolbox over there so we can be working on two projects simultaneously and just get some more work done around here the other thing we have to figure out is some storage because as you saw we have a whole wall of engines and Transmissions we have a ton of parts inside the shop that I would really love to get
