BOOKS I NEED TO READ!

The Bookshelf of a Book Tuber: A Tour of My TBR Pile

As I sit here surrounded by stacks of books, I'm reminded that even the most organized among us can have a messy bookshelf. My personal book tuber persona is a bit of an exaggeration, but my love for reading and sharing it with others is very real. In this article, I'll take you on a tour of my TBR pile, highlighting some of the books that have caught my eye.

First up are some older books that I've accumulated over time. Among them is "A Source Key of Thorns" by Margaret Rogers, which will be released this month. I'm not sure what to expect from it yet, but I'm always excited to discover new authors and genres. Next to it sits "The Happily Ever After" by Tiff's Maricela, a book that has already been released – at least, that's what I thought! It seems I may have gotten my dates mixed up. Regardless, I'm intrigued by the title and look forward to reading it.

Moving on, I have some contemporaries and Chiclets books that I've been eyeing for a while now. "Contemporary Chicklets" is a collection of short stories that explore the lives of young women navigating relationships, careers, and identities. Another book that piques my interest is "One Day by David Nicholls", which has already been released – at least in some parts of the world! Despite being familiar with the author's work, I'm hesitant to dive into this one right now due to personal reasons.

Next up are some newer releases that have taken over my life. First off, I have "Bubbled" by Alexa Martin, which is an adult contemporary novel that promises a romantic and emotional ride. Then there's "The Friendzone" by Bija Mess, a book that will be released soon and has already generated a lot of buzz online. I'm particularly excited about this one because it deals with fertility issues – something that resonates deeply with me.

I also have some other titles in my TBR pile, including "Well Met" by Jen DeLuca, "Waiting on Tom Hanks" by Carrie Winnie, and "The Wedding Date" by Jasmine Guarini. The first two books are scheduled to be released in June, while the third one comes out in July. These titles have caught my attention due to their unique premises and potential for engaging storytelling.

Now, let's move on to some of the books that I've acquired recently – courtesy of publishers and online platforms. First up is "I Dismiss Everything" by Jennifer Whiner, which will be released soon. Unfortunately, I don't know much about the author yet, but I'm willing to give this one a try. Next to it sits "How to Not Die Alone" by Richard Roeper, an adult literary fiction book that promises to explore deeper themes and emotions.

Another book that piques my interest is "Necessary People" by Anna Pitts Panocha, which falls under the category of adult thrillers. This one is a bit intimidating due to its subject matter – it deals with some heavy topics that might be triggering for certain readers. I'm intrigued by the premise, though, and will have to approach this one with caution.

Last but not least, I have "The Lovely and the Lost" by Jennifer Lynn Barnes, which is another mystery thriller that has caught my eye. This book promises to explore themes of identity, family dynamics, and small-town secrets – all of which are familiar territory for me as a reader. Finally, there's "Things My Son Needs to Know About the World" by Frederick Bachman, which is an adult novel that deals with sensitive topics such as childrearing and social issues.

Last but not least, I have "Slay Like Britney Morris", which will be released in September, and "Planet Earth is Blue" by Nicole Pitt, a book about a nonverbal autistic child. The latter title resonates deeply with me due to its focus on representation and empathy – something that I believe is crucial for creating positive change in the world.

As I close this article, I want to assure you that my TBR pile may seem overwhelming at times, but it's also a testament to my love for reading and discovery. Many of these books will make their way onto my shelves soon, where they'll sit proudly alongside some of my favorite reads. And who knows? Maybe one day I'll actually get around to reading them all – but until then, the excitement of the hunt is half the fun!
