**A Review of Glow Ball**
Glow ball is a game that just pulls right into the menu and you're ready to play. The game uses the accelerometer, which is one of my slight flaws but overall it's a pretty cool feature. As I began playing, I realized that what you do in this game is simple: you are a little glow ball, collecting coins, blowing up teal boxes, and using power-ups to enhance your gameplay.
At first, I was just blowing through these teal boxes like crazy, taking advantage of my initial power-up. But as I progressed, the game added more complexity with extra balls and penalties for death. The graphics are really quite good, and the animations are smooth and fluid. It's easy to see why this game would be appealing to fans of simple yet addictive gameplay.
As I continued playing, I found myself going slow and deliberate in my movements, trying not to forget any of the nuances of the game. But despite its simplicity, glow ball is a challenging game that requires strategy and quick thinking. And when you hit one of those little black balls, it's like a rush of adrenaline – but don't worry, there are plenty more where those came from.
One thing I did find frustrating was the camera system. It can be hard to concentrate on the game at times, especially when you're trying to navigate tight spaces or avoid obstacles. And sometimes, the accelerometer controls can get a little touchy, requiring some calibration to get just right. But overall, the sensitivity of the controls is perfect – it's like an extension of your own body.
I also noticed that the game has a "high scores" section that shows off the top-scoring players in each location. It's a cool feature that adds a bit of social interaction to the game, and it's nice to see what other players have achieved.
Despite its minor flaws, I highly recommend glow ball for anyone looking for a fun and addictive gaming experience. With its simple yet challenging gameplay, colorful graphics, and addictive soundtrack, it's no wonder this game is popular among fans of casual gaming. And at just $0.99, it's an absolute steal.
The game also has some new content that was added recently in an update, which I thought was a great touch. It adds some new features and levels to the game, making it feel fresh and exciting even after multiple playthroughs. Overall, I'm thoroughly impressed with glow ball, and I think you'll be too. So what are you waiting for? Check out this awesome game today!
One last thing – I did notice that the game uses the touch screen calibration feature on my iPod, which can sometimes cause issues if it's not calibrated properly. But overall, the game is very responsive and easy to play, even without the touch screen.
In conclusion, glow ball is a fantastic addition to any gaming library, and I'm so glad I got to experience it for myself. If you're looking for a fun and challenging game that won't break the bank, look no further than glow ball. Trust me, you won't be disappointed!
WEBVTTKind: captionsLanguage: enhey guys what is up it's Duncan and today I'm here with a pretty cool application review on a very interesting very very well polished application called glowball um some of you guys may have seen it it was towards the top of the leaderboards not that long ago at all and yeah so I'm here to do a review on it um first thing you will notice on this game is that the graphics are great but the Polish is even better um I mean every even through the menu the loading screen seamlessly flows into this um you'll see when you be level it just kind of just pulls right into the menu just almost immediately um it's kind of hard to explain so let's just go ahead and just get right into this so I'm just go ahead and you can see I'm just going to go ahead and try now this this game does use the accelerometer which is kind of one of my slight uh I don't know about flaws but okay so I'm just going to try to explain this as I go basically what you do is you are this little glow ball and you see I'm collecting these little coins Co basically what I do is you see all you see these teal boxes I just blew up they basically my objective now you see I'm just I've got a power up that was what I first did so I'm just blowing through these like crazy but as you see this power up will leave okay now I just got an extra ball um now you see these coins I'm picking up these basically will the more I get the uh I'll get extra balls and when I die then I won't don't have to worry about it okay so trying to I'm going kind of going slow cuz I don't want to don't want to forget anything about the game but uh basically as you can see here whoa and and you can see here if you hit one of those little black ball things now I got another power up so you see I'm just zapping this stuff you see the graphics are really quite good I mean and I'm just kind of blowing through this and as you can see now see I got another extra ball so now I just have to crush these and now game over and you can see see it just goes right into the menu that's something I really like about this just because it's very cool it just goes straight in um nothing to it at all now what it does next is I'm not going to do that but basically what it does is that it goes onto this big world which I think is very cool cuz you can look around and see who has high scores and then light up so you can see like lots here lots there pretty cool I like these location kind of things um but yeah so let's just go ahead and just uh show you guys another one um you know there's not a whole lot to glowball I will tell you that it's a cool game you see I just got a power up so I do is just go up to the top grab another power up but glow ball is a it's a pretty cool game but there's some things I think they could try to change about it as you can see here probably the camera it's kind of hard to concentrate on this and the camera oops so my angle's probably all bad so sorry about that guys but uh that's one thing I wish there would have some kind of way where you could where you could like use the uh use the touchcreen or something cuz you can't always and it calibrates and for this review cuz normally it's calibrated on like as if the iPod was flat so oh see that but uh normally calibrates the iPods flat y i going need that extra say but uh it calibrates as if it's flat and when it's not flat It's Kind it's really hard to control so you basically just have to go through and uh calibrate yourself so that's one thing I wish maybe they there they could incorporate the touchcreen some um nothing that not that there's anything really that wrong with the accelerometer controls but they can get a little touchy as you can see here I mean I'm barely moving it and don't don't get me wrong the sensitivity everything is about perfect but just sometimes you just don't really want to use uh use the accelerometer all the time pretty simple though uh not a big complaint and uh last time I checked this was only 99 C so I definitely recommend guys for 99 cents this is a definite uh definite buy they've added some stuff in an update just not that long ago um and it's really quite good uh I don't know I'm running out of things to say but yeah so that's glow ball um I recommend you guys check it out it's a lot of fun can get a little repetitive but uh you know it's not bad and uh for 99 cents it's pretty cool anyway guys thanks for watchinghey guys what is up it's Duncan and today I'm here with a pretty cool application review on a very interesting very very well polished
