Coler Unveils Advanced Smart Home Products at CES
I'm here at the Coler booth at CES where we're talking with Jonathan from the Coler smart home team. Coler's got a lot of interesting stuff going on here, so we're going to let Jonathan talk a little bit more about some of the products.
Jonathan: Yeah, so welcome to the Cor Booth. We're unveiling our core connect portfolio, it's our second year at the show, and we're excited to showcase our new Numi 2.0, Tilegen, and toilet. So, it's a progression of our intelligent toilet offering, lots of great features baked right into the toilet. It has Dynamic Sound, Dynamic lighting, we've also gone a step further and actually integrated Amazon Alexa, now consumers have that experience built right into their toilet.
The toilet is a beautiful product, with an entire portfolio focused on three things: convenience, comfort, and cleanliness. Convenience perspective, nice warm toilet seat, it actually Auto opens, Auto closes, auto flushes. And then, talking about our Bedet functionality, which also touches the experience in the bathroom. The toilet automatically opens as you approach it, with a proximity sensor that knows when you've left the room, and will auto close as well.
But that's not all; we have an Alexa speaker built into the toilet, so whatever you could do with Alexa in your home, you can now do with your toilet, actually, in the bathroom space. It's a great place to use that information download, whether it's news, traffic, sports scores, or even playing music to set the scene. Imagine being able to speak to Alexa while being in the bathroom in the morning.
Jonathan: So, yeah, we showcased our Vadera Mir last year with Amazon Alexa actually built-in that product shipping, so we're excited about that and are showcasing now a Google version of that, so we're giving consumers that flexibility if they want to have Amazon or if they want to have Google in their home. All that technology is also integrated into the Mirr for You as well.
We're also excited still about our Perfect Fill bath tub, which we showed last year but now are showing again in a more flexible environment for our consumers, so give them a modular experience where they can choose a different bathtub or a different bath filler.
Jonathan: So, it's actually a perfect fill kit, so it includes the spout, includes the drain, and then all the controllers behind the wall. What it does is, it allows consumers to preset the depth of water that they want and then also the temperature that they want, so they can use Amazon Alexa while they're downstairs with their kids, and say "Start my bath" 20 minutes later. You walk upstairs, and it's the right depth and it's the right temperature for you.
The market's ready for this technology in the bathroom. We actually already know that 80% of consumers bring a phone or tablet into the bathroom so they're already using technology. And we also know that 13% already used some Voice Assistant to do something, so consumers are ready for this.
Jonathan: Now, let's talk about our smart lighting. We have lighting actually integrated into our Vadera Mir, and also a full collection this year called Veil lighted collection, which includes four products: Free standing bath, an intelligent toilet to toilet, a mirror, and then a three-piece vanity. Those products all work together from a design perspective, so Coler's design heritage and technology points across all those products interact together to mimic nature.
In the Suites that you see throughout our booth, consumers can see how these products would interact together in an environment and build different routines.
