My Thoughts on the PlayStation VA: A Honest Review

Hey everyone, yeah I see you, how are you? No really, how are you? I always say that in my videos just post below today's question comes from... who knows where? Today's question comes from so many people that I'm not going to pick one particular person and ask them about their thoughts on the PlayStation VA. That's what I'm going to do instead - share my own honest thoughts on the console.

To be honest, I'm really not interested in the PlayStation VA. Yeah, I know, it seems cool, it looks well... not revolutionary at all. It's just another handheld attempt by Sony, if you ask me. Don't get me wrong, I do own a PSP and I'm not some Nintendo Fanboy who hates everything Sony does. The PSP was a fine handheld, but I find myself not playing it a few months after getting it. That's my main argument to myself of why I shouldn't get the PlayStation VA.

The console is going to be awesome on day one and the first week with touch sensitive controls in the back and insane graphics, though. To be honest, the graphics look pretty awesome for a handheld - they definitely kill the 3DS. However, that's kind of my point: I don't play a handheld for killer graphics; I play it for an overall good time. Uncharted is going to be on the PlayStation VA, which I have to say is freaking awesome as hell. But again, I just don't have that motivation from Sony for whatever reason.

I'm perfectly happy with my 3DS and all the famous Nintendo franchises - Mario, Star Fox, Zelda, Mario Kart... those games are phenomenal. I love them. What I'm trying to say is that the PlayStation VA while it's a very advanced portable console, it's just not doing anything for me right now. When they come out with a PlayStation VA Light or whatever they're going to call it and the price eventually drops, then yes, perhaps I'll buy myself one.

But for now, I'm really not interested. Please let me just say this again - I am not hating whatsoever; I'm just being honest. I'm mainly a console person anyway - I enjoy the high-def experience and Surround Sound and controller in my hand, that's just how I am. But when it comes to handhelds, I'm for Nintendo for their franchises.
