a well anticipated game that was supposed to have come out I think near Christmas time but never got around to it I'm not sure why um it's something with EA some problems they were having so let's just see what it's all about you see the load screen it's just like the just like the uh platform games like on the PS3 or the PS2 or whatever 360 whatever you have and then um it'll take you through a uh you'll have like a soundtrack play and you'll get to pick your character and the name and stuff like that um and you'll Race it'll show a couple movies and then you get to this screen once you save it and stuff um you could just SL across the um thing down here to see all the options you have don't click on it or it'll go directly to it um unless you know what it is and um otherwise you just tap on one and slide over so you can go to whichever option that you want um I just landed on one it happened to be the other games so you could just look at their other games and uh you could uh use two fingers and slide on the screen hold on there we go and then you can look at your car you can go around and look at your car like that zoom in things like that so that's pretty cool then just hit the back button right up here so I'll just go ahead and do a race for you um you can see you can go to my cars too if you want obviously I only have this car you could trade it sell it or um buy another car from here so you can hear the soundtrack in the background pretty cool listen all right you heard enough uh so now let's just go to the race map so from here you see you have a city a Tri City Zone select so I'm going to select this city and now you have what race you want to do uh the big race is the only one I could do right now um it shows laps to fastest lap not available length four miles um and the cash reward of $1,000 so let's just hit next so we can go to the race so circuit races are all about endurance and stuff okay so the controls on this um you can slide you pause the game by sliding two fingers across the menu button hold on one second not on this map but uh this is a drag race actually uh it actually accelerates for you but you have to steer by using the accelerometer and you can if you if you're uh familiar with KN for Speed and stuff you know how they have the slowmo uh you can do that by just uh sliding your finger down at any time watch I'll show you like this look at that and it goes in slow Modo so you can do a fast turn and then you just tap it if you want to get out of it and if you slide your finger up that's NOS or nitrous nitrous or Nitro whatever you want to call it um I call it NOS cuz that's what it really is nitrous oxide so just do that then you get one shot of NOS right there I didn't really pass him because he was using NOS as well but I passed the guy beside him pretty fast I believe you have um two shots of NS to start out with on a stock car until you start customizing then you can get as many uh as I think five maybe and you do draft in this game too if you draft behind the car and then you use your nitrous you go really fast by them I'm in first place right now now as you can probably tell I've Gotten Good at this game because I really love this game actually so there we go that's first first laugh I'm done with no breaks you get a little bonuses like that if you have a clean M like if you don't bump anybody you get I think like a th000 points or something for that near Miss 350 see this is just like the console version guys um all the same little attributes that it has on the little spec and you do get to pick your first car as well when you uh before you start the game I picked the 240 SX because I really like it's faster than most cars um I was going to pick the Camaro but I changed my mind there we go yeah I think you get a refill no on the the lap I'm not sure though don't don't get mad at me for saying that and you see on the map up in the top left you can see where your opponents are and you see the Laps on the left and obviously your speedometer on the upper right hand corner and it shows your NOS when it's full or not full uh right there on the beside the speedometer I just did the slowmo so I can get that turn last turn good it doesn't really slow you down it just makes it look slow there we go it says you have one shows little screenshots then you drift to a stop then you see rank one and it shows your time and stuff money gain $11,000 next and it shows your score adds it up look at that total style points 2,667 7,067 that's pretty good it was the first race so uh then you'll have the little thing in the middle once it goes back to the screen takes you back to this screen um back to this screen sorry and then you uh hit race if you want to race again um you don't have to but I suggest you do until you get enough money for Stuff um also down here you can click trophies to see which ones you've won and um all your specs about your leader board and things like that right there so the next race is going to be a cruiser a uh Cruiser crash it's a takedown event uh cop takeout you have to you have to get five takeouts this kind of reminds me of burnout if You' played that game burnout um and it's a cash reward of $2,000 so why not let's try this one time and it shows all tips on every loading screen so here we go says word is spreading fast that he can drive but be suspicious of a newcomer saying all this stuff so I don't know what I'm supposed to do really I don't know if I'm supposed to take down five cops or yeah I think that's what I'm supposed to do yeah here we go I got to take down the cops sounds pretty fun right whoa we got Choppers already yeah you got to crash them they have a little life bar on top there we go I took one out see that Cruiser 105 he I flipped that one look at that that was pretty sick oh my God that was sweet I just if you do Nos and run into him it pretty much like flips him right away there we go got that one obviously I'm on an easier difficulty since this is only the second race I mean it's not going to be that hard but um it's still extremely fun I love this game so much already and I can tell it's going to be an instant classic for the iPhone it's going to go down in the books in Apple's history there we go that's five of five escaped look at that there we go and it shows that you want $2,000 total style points 300 and you're you're making a good impression keep up the good work no call trust me yeah you could change this uh your your view by just doing like that on the screen just like a little uh backwards check mark if you would so let's let go here to my cars uh you can upgrade your car I'm going to upgrade um you can do performance visuals or whatnot I'll do performance since that's really the only thing that matters even though I like looks top speed um stage one price $11,000 um I think that's all you can get right now it wouldn't really boosted too much as you see the little white in the background indicating how much you would have um so let's try Nitro is what they call it you can get Nitro stage one for $11,000 as well um I think I'm going to do just top speed right now top speed stage one you can get that it says are you sure you want to purchase yes so now I'm instantly faster you can get top speed stage two as well from right here I think I'll do that stage three is $4,000 um I'm going to spend that on something else maybe acceleration so I bought that and now oh my Nitro too as you see it shows your cash up in the top left I have 13,000 left so I'm going to spend it on the visuals now let me show you what you can do with the visuals um let's see body kits looks pretty sweet I think that's the only one you can get is it yeah I believe that's only one so I'm not going to get that just yet uh paint job spoiler vinyls Wheels um I'm going to change the spoiler that one looks pretty sick all right uh actually that one does get that one there we go let's get some um let's get a paint job look at that I'll just paint it red there we go $500 for that yes change the wheels up the smoke in the those look pretty good all right I'll get those now looks pretty good right or I could always add some of this vinyls are always good not yet though those don't look too good so uh suspension height I'm going to lower this thing that's all you can
