how many swapping over the sound source between the xiaomi between the samsung which one do you think has the best sound and both of them i think sound is very good they both have high bit rates for sound and excellent microphones too capturing this so i'm going to jog ahead a little go up these steps to check out that electronic image stabilization before we swap over to the rear cameras so both of them performing well here so this is rear camera footage now 4k 30 frames per second on both of them so we got the 108 megapixel with an f 1.8 up against the 48 megapixel on the xiaomi with the f 1.9 both of them have optical image stabilization phase detection auto focus and electronic image stabilization as well now when i pan around on both of them you may see sometimes a little bit of stutter come through with the panning but i find that the samsung seems to do this a little bit better and the stutter comes through more the jutter when panning on the xiaomi you can probably see that so i'm going to walk ahead and jog a little to catch out the stability it's good on both of them but let me know in the comments which one do you think has the best stability here ultra wide video now so the stability on both of them is very good but i think here with the ultra wide i think the edge just goes to the samsung so i'm gonna run now and again let us know which one you think is the most stable here and has the best footage with our ultra wide video 4k 30 frames per second so this is the zoom cameras now we've got the 12 megapixel f 3.0 on the note 20 ultra and a 48 megapixel on the xiaomi which has an aperture of f 4.1 so i'm aiming at the castle here and you can see that there are more shakes and trimmers coming through on the samsung and as i walk along they are both rocking around all over the place so ideally when you're shooting video with the five times optical zoom cameras you should really be standing still and try not to move around too much but here is a clear winner i think the xiaomi because the footage is just so much more steadier okay so i've got the super steady video mode on now which does improve the stability using more aggressive electronic image stabilization so i'll run up these stairs i keep pointing at that clock tower and which one do you think is the steadiest here let us know in the comments 8k video now so they both shoot 8k 24 frames per second i think it's much more as you can see now as i pan around much more stable on the xiaomi here is more of a crop on the samsung with the 8k as well it's a shame it's only 24 frames per second 30 would be a little bit smoother and i would actually prefer that but anyway at least we do have the 8k option with both of these so on low light the front facing cameras both of them are really struggling there's a lot of grain on both of them the electronic image stabilization not looking as good and what about if i just move around like this there normally is a little bit of rolling shutter that comes through two with that electronic image stabilization it's gonna jog ahead now this is ultra wide video now so these lenses aren't really geared up for low light video but they seem to be doing okay however when you start to look closely or you crop in you do see a lot of noise coming through 4k 30 frames per second very difficult conditions i am walking at a normal pace here this is all handheld by the way i'm not using a tripod with any of these shots i clean the lens as well every time i do take photos or record video both of them with a microfiber cloth so which one here looks the best which has the best quality in these conditions now we are looking at our five times optical cameras so can the megapixel count here win the people at the top of the castle to make them out there's a lot of noise and grain on the galaxy note 20 i can see this is all handheld remember so you try to hold it as steedy as possible so it doesn't shake around too much let's have a look down the street now see which one here is coming out the best so the rear cameras now both of them are at 8k very difficult conditions and it looks like the samsung is struggling the most here it has a little bit more of a crop to it do okay so here are my findings the video is close to sound on both of them but at times i think the xiaomi was clearer it was definitely louder when we were using the zoom cameras now the selfie vlogs for video i think the samsung wins there we've got the 4k option it had a little bit more detail in the shadows as well with the vlog quality now 8k video hands down xiaomi won this one okay it was just better it didn't have the crop it was more stable better optical image stabilization the main video now so i'm talking about the main sensors here 48 megapixels and 108 i think that the samsung had slightly better electronic image stabilization especially on the ultra wide and more details in the shadows it's just a tiny bit brighter i felt the video on the samsung so i give the main video the win to the samsung as well there and the super steady video samsung took this one i mean they are really the guys that came up with the super steady video so i was not surprised to see that their video footage was more stable now photos okay portraits front and rear so selfies in the portrait camera i think the samsung colors now this is personal preference i think it had better skin tones just came off a little better both of them were very good stitching on both is also good but i think samsung had it there just a little bit better there now the zoom camera i'm talking about the five times optical well done xiaomi okay no contest here really because we're talking about 48 megapixels much more detail sharper and even the colors came out a little bit better so really well done there xiaomi with that zoom camera they have absolutely aced it main cameras for photos very very close i mean the xiaomi has closer to real colors i would say more details in blacks like my cat vera when you saw the photo of the cat there a bit of focus at times however the samsung sometimes is quite good better at handling bright flowers for example the xiaomi was just way too saturated i do find the samsung to be a little over saturated with the greens and the blue sky so the xiaomi year one with the color there with that one and the ultra wide photos samsung they got the winner here i think just a little more detail a little bit more sharper i love the fact that xiaomi's ultra wide 128 degrees just fits in so much more there's diffraction more actually and it's uh 12 millimeter focal length that it's got on it very good but it just didn't seem quite as good as samsung so samsung for me still the masters at ultra ultrawide photos there low light again this was very very close here closer than i imagined it would be the note 20 ultra i think handles the bright lights better so when you saw the signs like the heineken sign for example you saw the street lights it just got it better it got the colors a little bit more accurate as well where there was that mini cooper in the shot it was meant to be red the xiaomi for some reason it
