Gaming Review: Huawei Honor 8 with Kirin 950 Chipset

As I hold this Huawei Honor 8, I am honored to have it in my hands and excited to share its gaming performance with you. Temperature Tests

To see how well the Honor 8 handles heat during extended gameplay, I conducted some temperature tests. The ambient temperature around this area was approximately 27 degrees Celsius, with the screen temperature reading in at around 41 degrees Celsius. This is slightly higher than expected, but still within a safe range for most users.

However, it's worth noting that Asphalt 8 tends to generate more heat during gameplay compared to other games. In this case, the screen temperature rose to as high as 41.4 degrees Celsius, which is impressive considering the device's compact design. The back of the phone did also get warm, with a reading of around 41.1 degrees Celsius.

Overall, these temperature tests show that the Honor 8 can handle heat during extended gameplay without any major issues. While it may not be as efficient as some other devices on the market, it still provides a great gaming experience despite the heat generated.

it performs let's start with unkilled so this is unkill and as you can see we're getting all the water effects and stuff so it's handling it fine and uh the biggest thing about this honor eight is the rare facing camera it's a dual camera setup uh so the camera performance is actually really good on this device again uh I have uh shown a lot of sign examples in my unboxing video you can check that let's try some rockets and it's having a single speaker here but it's adequately loud I would say so continuing let's fire more rocket and as you can see it's handling everything fine so it'll play this unkill game without any issues so let's move to some heavier games now so this is Asal 8 and we're going to play this to to level and I have kept the graphics to the highest setting and I'm using the on screen steering we'll also check the temperature after playing this uh asphal 8 to see if uh it heats up but as of now I don't notice any abnormal heating or anything it's just slightly warm and again as you can see it's handling this game also fine what that was weird so really good game playay I would say uh no lag whatsoever that I'm noticing very fluid and it's not heating up that much also it's slightly getting warm just slightly we'll have a look at at the temperatures later but as you can see in terms of game play uh good no lag that I have noticed the pricing uh would be announced uh today in India so I'll have the link uh of the availability and the pricing in the YouTube uh show notes area this level is also done almost so let's check the temperatures now and the ambient temperature around this area is let's say 27 and on the screen as you can see it's touching 41 5 was the max that we saw 41.4 to be precise let's look at the back uh the and the back is did touch 41.1 that is what we are noting so it does get a little bit warm but it is not very very hot or uncomfortable to play uh generally asphalt is one game that tends to heat up most of the devices but here also as you can see we are seeing a Max temperature of about 41.3 was the max that's touching if you go down it's a lot lower so highest around this camera area that we are noticing 41.5 uh so let's just get out of this one also and let's move to Nova 3 so this is uh Nova 3 and let's see how it handles uh this game follow keep so needless to say uh good gaming experience on this NOA 3 I haven't noticed any lag and the screen is again 40.2 40.3 is the max 41 it is touching Max and here on the back uh again that uh close to 40.9 was the max that I'm uh noticing so you could say 41 yeah it did touch 41.3 again here so again uh it's warm to touch I would say it feels warm but it's not very hot or uncomfortable I would uh say so what do I feel about the gaming performance uh with this honor 8 as you saw it played all the games that we threw on it without any issues even uh heavy games like Asphalt 8 and Nova 3 ran without any lag whatsoever so for gaming this is a very good uh device I would say it plays the gamees fine back is again fingerprint magnet is very slippery and the thing is that as of now it also does not support volt but again for gaming it's a good device so
