Hey guys and welcome back to my channel! Since the new year just started, I know a lot of people are thinking about their health and fitness right now. So, I wanted to pop on here and share some of my best health and fitness tips and these are things that are all really easy to implement in your day-to-day life. I also want to point out if you're starting from square one, I did a video about 2 months ago called how to start a healthy lifestyle, those are some of my more foundational tips and where I get my motivation. Easiest Health and Fitness Tips
One easy way to be more hydrated is to find different ways to flavor your water. So, you're more motivated and excited to drink your water. In a previous health tips video that I've done, I showed my favorite lemon water hack, which is basically squeezing fresh lemon into an ice cube tray and using those cubes in your water any time. But if you don't have that handy and already prepared, another thing that I found recently that is a total Game Changer are these little packets of crystallized lemon called True Lemon. They're 100% natural, there's no artificial ingredients or sweeteners in it at all, and they taste exactly like lemon water tastes! So, in my opinion, one of the best and also easiest workouts to do is called an HIIT workout that's high interval training workout. Not only is it extremely easy, you don't need any equipment, you can do it anywhere that you are, and it is proven to be one of the absolute most effective workouts you can do.
How to Do an HIIT Workout
So, here's how to do a HIIT workout. You want to exercise as fast and as hard as you possibly can for 30 full seconds. So, there are a lot of different movements you can do, which I'm demonstrating here, but the key is you want to get your heart rate up so you really have to push yourself. You should be gasping for breath by the end! And then after that, you want to recover for 90 seconds and then repeat the cycle of exercise and recovery seven times when you're starting out, you may only be able to do two or three Cycles but you want to work yourself up to doing this seven times in a row. The number one thing I started doing recently that is completely transformed my diet is ordering a produce box that's delivered to my door every week.
The Benefits of Ordering a Produce Box
This makes it so convenient and easy to have healthy fresh organic local vegetables on hand, but more so than that, it inspires me to want to use more vegetables because I feel bad getting rid of anything or wasting anything. It is the best tasting produce you could ever possibly have, and most companies that offer these boxes are using sustainable farming practices. All right, so those are some of my easy health tips. Healthy Snacking
I also always make sure that I have a good amount of healthy snacks on hand so some of my favorite healthy snacks are carrot and hummus, and my bean and corn salad which I have done the recipe for in a previous video. So, instead of going cold turkey and cutting all sugar out of your diet which could be extremely difficult and setting yourself up for failure, what I recommend you do is slowly incrementally decrease the amount of sugar you're using in your day-to-day life. So, let's say for example, you normally use 2 teaspoons of sugar in your coffee every day start by reducing it to 1 and 1/2 teaspoon, 1 teaspoon half a teaspoon or even better you can substitute for a healthier sugar alternative. I personally like Xylitol, which is a completely natural sugar alternative that does not spike your blood sugar or have any of the negative effects that sugar does.

my entire life because of my produce box another one of the easiest ways to be healthier is to know how to make substitutions in your diet first easy substitution I make is instead of soda I have sparkling water they have a lot of different ones now that are naturally flavored my personal favorite is called liqua and I like the grapefruit and also the coconut flavor but it gives you that same feeling of having a soda it even comes in a can so when I'm craving sweets instead I eat an apple and what I do is I tell myself after I eat this apple if I still want sweets I can have it but usually after I eat the apple I full I'm satisfied and I don't even want the sweets if you're a peanut butter lover one thing I highly recommend is powdered peanut butter it has less calories it has less fat it is much better for you than regular peanut butter you just mix the powder with water and it tastes surprisingly like peanut butter so if I have 15 minutes my go goto meal that I've been obsessing over lately is using my rice cooker to cook lentils with veggies it is so quick and easy you just put it in the rice cooker turn it on and it's ready in about 15 minutes and the secret to this is using sprouted lentils they take only about 10 minutes to cook but if I don't even have 15 minutes and I need something right now and I'm desperate what I will grab is an organ drink this is a protein drink has 16 g of protein non GMO all organic and it will just hold me over while I prepare something else I also always make sure that I have a good amount of healthy snacks on hand so some of my
