this track at all I've never been on it before um as you can see I don't fit in here for anything especially with a helmet on uh this is alesandro thank you for helping me out today I'm trying to shake your hand so sorry you're grumpy one of the most comfortable alandro of course is from Italy he's going to uh help me get used to this track a bit uh this is the Lamborghini Aventador super veloce I say veloce like the Italian sa V exactly it has the perfect accent it is uh 300 lb lighter than the regular Aventador it has new suspension and uh about 40 to 50 extra horsepower and uh if you're 6'3 like me helmets in here are just not good it's just not good so we're going to go out um and uh we'll do a couple laps we'll uh we'll do a sighting lap first cuz again I don't know where the track goes at all it's always a good approach and then we'll turn up the wick a little bit and see if uh see what the sv's got well of course you know and it's pretty unique that you can drive this car over here because this car is very rare you know yeah there's not many of these unless you go to Rodeo Drive and there's one on every single Street oh yeah exactly but you can drive those we're going this way over here on the left yeah yeah yeah you just follow over here until the blue line and then we can join the track over there there's a long turn you just go basically in gradual acceleration and you just make your way up right now your second gear truck is clear for us all right up to first let's see what we got going on here yeah so you got a long long turn over here then you always have the breaking points marked you can see over here breake and then you just lift a little bit drive through in you want to stay tied to the right on this one you can have like a double s section over here TI it in and also the curvs are a little bit high so you want to try to stay low over not over the curvs the uh the biggest challenge right now he's actually just seeing seeing his it's uh the windshield Banner makes the sight line very low the angle of my helmet isn't very good for this type of work it's a little bit and my head is just jammed into the into the ceiling in the car you want to be in third gear now because we're going on the main straight you're going to start to gradually accelerate and now you can just go on the gas over here okay so that's the whole circuit we just saw yeah exactly very easy to learn and break over here break hard over here on the left so hard breake over here see AR with not enough brake over there so that's a really hard braking point you can really feel the brakes the braking power of the car over there bics uh good on the street you get a little hot on the track hard break over here then off and then in when feel the handling in this section of the track when I drove the standard Aventador you actually have to drive it kind of like a front-wheel drive car it doesn't like you need to let it turn it doesn't like to go through corners on power then off over here you kind of roll the gas on the outside and then get the aex feels good it actually feels smoother right yeah yeah oh it really is it's easier to drive this car it's not complicated at all and then you just feel the power and then it just goes here it is 750 come on and heart break over here that's really the hardest breaking point of the track yeah it doesn't like when you get back on power early you got to really stay on the brakes until after the A and then gradual on the gas exactly exactly and wi over here and break hard you want to keep it tight over there stay thir gear fantastic and then break hard for this one over Ste little bit wide a little bit wide that was not that was not good the power is great though it's incredible how this car even compared to the Aventador it's easy to drive feels like a street car but it's so powerful and so easy to drive this is uh this is a pretty tight track for a car that's this yeah it's a mon like in it's an elephant you know in a tiny shop all right go over here all the way there's 125 mph not bad it really depends how you come out from the turn over there because you can really carry a lot more speed but I'll tell you something the it I feel the weight savings compared to the regular car yeah feels lighter on its feet it turns in better than the old car yeah oh that's an improvement overall you know it's yeah no this definitely it feels a lot lot lighter on its feet a lot more Nimble than the old car and you see that you feel it right away when you leave the gas you have the feel right away control resembling driver feedback which is uh which is great I do wish the gearbox was a little faster let's see cor that was sport let's go try now oh that's better there we go there you go you ask it you have it oh my God it really does kick the kick you really hard in the back and sometimes people don't like like when he too too crisp but definitely it's definitely quick it's the classic kick you the not that the Lamborghini yeah they do that that intentional they could make a smooth gear box if they wanted to exactly but where's the fun in that so you want try to stay tight here break hard and then dive in there you go on the gas between the two there you go you can go on and off over here there you go and then roll the gas and go here up there you go break a little bit and off in nice very good gas over here gas off turn gas go go go go go go go and break all right it one time then you roll it okay now when you exit up to third over here and go so you pry R the power over there it really does feel real fast you know the RAC trck always slows things down yeah of course because it's so wide really it really does feel SE and the truck you see is is very safe you know oh yeah you have not any point where you know you can feel it's really wide you can see everything perfectly is painted well so I I feel like I can get on the power earlier with this than with the old event for sure this is much more at home on the circuit than the old car the old car is the Rodeo Drive car this is much better no that one really gives you you know they did a great job at Lamborghini improving the lightness and the responsiveness of the car you really feel is like a you know really a glove around you yeah it does it's just it's not meant for tall fat people you know what I mean it's me for guys that's your fault though touche alesandro touche listen to that go go go go go go go and break here so feel really the brakes there you go oh wow gets a little little squirly under breaking but it doesn't get away from you oh you always f it you know it never breaks away from it does have very good feedback and Ang go and this is you know this car is so wide and this is a big a big roomy racetrack it has extra wide exactly track and so that's the perfect fit for this car is good for this car yeah you still get a little bit of that under steer if you get on the power too early but if you stay on the brakes through there it turns right really nice you got to just Trail break it down exactly all right one more and then we'll call it what do you say alandro fantastic all right on go the gas go on the gas go go go go perfect keep going keep going to going you go go go go go go go go break hard that was 135 there you go you see the improvement over there they roll the gas over here the car is really stable between these two left and right over here you keep it long way under the turn then you stay more to the right over here then you can really feel the power and the grip over here also the the P tire is doing a great job you know the car the P tire is being designed really specifically for this car so they really did a great job in giving the grip enough for this car to give you the feel but also maintain the grip throughout all the turn well it it rotates really well under breaking and it still pushes a little bit on power but it's a fun car it's way better than the old car yeah I mean I I can definitely we're we're pitting in yeah yeah over here I can I can definitely I mean that's a it's a quick track it's not huge speeds but you can feel the nimbleness compared to the old car what the advantage of our truck you know we have like third and fourth gear mid high speed section so where you can really test pretty much every car to its limits inside in the corners you know it's not only about maximum speed but it's really the fun of driving that's what we really get when you come at dream R yeah and I think I think going to go over there further down there sry y I think that uh they they've done a really good job with this car I have to admit I was not really a Believer uh because uh you know the the standard first let's see what we got going on here yeah so you got a long long turn over here then you always have the breaking points marked you can see over here breake and then you just lift a little bit drive through in you want to stay tied to the right on this one you can have like a double s section over here TI it in and also the curvs are a little bit high so you want to try to stay low over not
