absolutely beautiful and bright nice and crisp it's running Mi ui7 which is on top of Android 6.0 marshmallow it has a Qualcomm Snapdragon 820 processor inside so it's nice and fast it's taking advantage of everything that Qualcomm has to offer it has this the 4 GB of RAM as well and this one comes with 128 GB of storage which is quite a lot of storage as you can see we've got a fingerprint sensor here on the front of the device which is unique it's something that only Apple and Samsung and a handful of others do and xiaomi has worked really hard to minimize the bezels on the top and the bottom and to create the most of it can do with the screen so it's a beautiful screen to body ratio really taking advantage of it we've got a 4 megapixel camera that's 2 microns so it should go really well in low light which is great for your selfies and now we're going to look at perhaps the most interesting part of the device which is its design now it looks like a mix between the Samsung Galaxy S7 and the OnePlus X because we have a beautiful ceramic back on here that just catches the light in a lovely way and it feels different from glass in the hand it's hard to explain it's quite nice and it comes in a number of different colors including white black and gold now we have a 16 megapixel camera on the back here with phase autofocus detection which should focus lightning fast and it seems to do quite well in low light and capture motion at different rates Hugo was really talking about how incredible this camera was so we'll want to test it out in great detail when we review this and you can look at the curve on the edge of this device and it's just lovely it fits really comfortably in your hand it's quite comfortable very smooth transition it's quite a bit seamless here you don't really see a straight line and then a breake over it just curves over like a nice waterfall very well done just like the way Samsung's done it on the S7 so it's very comfortable to holding your hands we've got the headphone jack up here of course and a nice Jered Edge for a little bit of Flash the volume rocker and the power button it's very simple we don't have much going on along the sides gorgeous simple Min minimalism and we have a USB type-c here with Quick Charge 3.0 which is something that qualcom has put into the Snapdragon 820 so once again xiaomi is really taking advantage of that processor and what Qualcomm has on offer so this is incredibly light as well it's only 129 G so it doesn't feel as heavy as the S7 or the iPhone 6s even which is a smaller phone it's very light feels pretty comfortable to hold in the hand we've got a couple different fun camera modes and it's very much a sleep device now this is coming to China first in March it will be one of the first Snapdragon 820 devices on the market and we don't know what other markets is going to hit Beyond India and some of the other traditional markets that xiaomi comes too but we are hoping that something might change with that in the future so Hugo Bara has kind of teased a little bit that it's coming to other markets but didn't specify it could of course just mean Europe and it doesn't necessarily mean that this is coming to the United States but one can dream this was just a quick look at the xiaomi MI5 Promallerie here for Digital Trends and we are looking at the xiaomi MI5 Pro now this is an
