The Pure Gear Fab Folio: A Unique Case Design with a Magnetic Clasp
As I began to review this case, my mind was at the moment but I got to say that it's very nice and I just like how it looks overall. This is the first impression I have of the case, and it's definitely an interesting design. With its unique magnetic clasp, the case is designed to keep the screen secure when not in use.
The magnetic clamp is a standout feature of this case, with a little flap covering the screen that prevents it from moving around. Boom, the clamp works great, and I can promise you that it won't mess with your iPhone. The clamp is definitely effective at keeping the screen in place, and I appreciate the attention to detail that went into its design.
Another unique feature of this case is the fact that it comes with a folio-style cover that holds a couple of cards. For this review's purpose, I used a $50 Amazon gift card which I still need to give away. Boom, shut the case and you're on your way. The folio cover does indeed slip in and out smoothly, and it's a nice touch to have something to hold my credit cards or gift cards.
However, I'm not a huge fan of the idea of having my credit cards and phone all in one place. Maybe you are, but for me personally, it's just not something that's big with me. If I lose my phone and my credit cards in one shot, then yeah, that's pretty much not cool. But if you do plan on using this with something less important than credit cards, such as maybe gift cards, then perhaps that could work just as well.
Of course, like all cases out there, you do have access to ports and buttons, such as the lock switch, volume buttons, the lightning port on the bottom, speaker microphone 3.5mm, sleep wake button on the top, and both cameras. These features are definitely convenient, especially when it comes to taking photos or videos.
One of the coolest features of this case is its built-in kickstand. To activate it, you just open up the case, push your phone forward, and there you go – it's now a kickstand! The magnetic latch does go backwards in case you want to just put it back there and doesn't get in the way.
Now, let's talk about some of the cons of this case. Thankfully, there are only two, but they're still worth mentioning. The first con is that when this case is closed, you do unfortunately have limited access to features on your phone. This should come as common sense – the case is covering the screen, so you don't have access to it. But for me personally, I prefer my screen to always be exposed, and if you're buying this case, you should know what you're getting yourself into.
The second con I got to say using this phone when the case is open does feel awkward at times, especially when trying to type. When opening up the case like so to snap the magnetic latch backwards, it just doesn't feel right because it's not flush with your hand and you're kind of typing at an angle even though you're holding the phone yourself.
The final verdict is that the Fab Folio does sell for $29 available in both denim and oatmeal – unfortunately, no oatmeal flavor version is edible. It's worth it if you're looking for something unique and you like this whole cover-the-case thing with a magnetic latch and want something to hold your credit cards or gift cards. However, for me personally, I'm just not a fan of this case design really that much at all. That's why I chose to review it because I know there are people out there who do prefer this style of case.
In conclusion, the Pure Gear Fab Folio is definitely an interesting and unique case design. While it may not be for everyone, especially those who like their screen always exposed, it's still worth considering if you're looking for something different. And who knows – it could make a great Christmas gift for someone who's looking for this style of case. Thank you to Pure Gear for making this review possible, and thanks to all the guys out there for watching.

case design and style then yes this definitely isn't an issue with you and now my second con I got to say using this phone when the case is open it definitely feels awkward for instance opening up the
