The Performance Comparison Between iPhone 10 and iPhone 10s: A Detailed Test
In recent days, there have been numerous reports suggesting that the iPhone 10s may outperform the iPhone 10 in terms of network and Wi-Fi speeds. To test this claim, we conducted a comprehensive experiment on both devices to determine which one comes out on top.
First, let's take a look at how both devices are connected to the exact same Wi-Fi network in our studio. Both devices are running on the AT&T network, and as you can see, they are both connected to the same network. We want to run the Wi-Fi test on the iPhone 10 first and see what the download speeds look like and the upload speeds. Let's go ahead and run the test and see how much faster the iPhone 10s performs compared to the iPhone 10.
As we run the test, we can see that the download speeds are approximately 85, while the upload speeds are around seven. We're hoping to get an official number for the upload speeds, which might be slightly higher than seven, possibly around seven and a half. Now, let's do the same test on the iPhone 10s. As we run the test again, we can see that the download speeds are approximately 85 to 86, with no significant difference from the iPhone 10. The upload speeds also look very similar, with the iPhone 10 getting around seven point forty six and the iPhone 10s getting a value close to 7.50.
In regards to network speeds or Wi-Fi speed, it seems that these two devices are performing almost identically. We wanted to see if there would be any difference between the two, but it appears that they are very close in terms of performance. Now that we've completed the Wi-Fi test, let's move on to testing the AT&T network.
Our network here doesn't have a lot of strength, as you can see, with only two lines of LTE available on both devices. We want to test the AT&T network by doing iPhone 10 first and see what the numbers look like and if we get any difference in terms of downloads and uploads performance. As we run the test, we can see that the download speeds are very poor, barely reaching the r1 mark, with a value of 3.40 on the iPhone 10. Now let's do the same test on the iPhone 10s. The download speeds on the iPhone 10s are peaking up to eight drops down to six but it's performing better than the iPhone 10 with the same amount of signal bars, with a value of 9.20 on the iPhone 10s.
We can see that the upload speeds on the AT&T network are also very poor, barely reaching the r1 mark, with a value of 2.20 on the iPhone 10s. The upload speed is slightly higher than the iPhone 10, which is the same amount of signal bars. So it seems like the iPhone 10s is performing better in terms of network speeds and Wi-Fi compared to the iPhone 10.
Finally, we want to ask our viewers if they own an iPhone 10 or an iPhone 10s and how it performs for them. We would love to hear your feedback and comments on our social media platforms.
"WEBVTTKind: captionsLanguage: enhey guys over the last several days many reports indicate that the iPhone 10s can outperform the iPhone 10 in network and Wi-Fi speeds so I wanted to perform a test here on the channel just to see what the results will be now I haven't run this test as of yet on any of these two devices but first things first how both of these two devices are connected to the exact same Wi-Fi network here in the studio and both of these are running on the AT&T network as well as you see they're both our AT&T and we're in the Tampa area so what I want to do first is run on the Wi-Fi test on the iPhone 10 here and see what the download speeds look like and the upload speeds so let's go ahead and see how much faster can the iPhone 10s perform versus an iPhone 10 or vice-versa we see here that we have approximately a b5 download speeds and it looks like we're gonna get around seven upload speeds here for the iPhone 10 but let's hope I don't wait for the official number that looks creeping up maybe to seven and a half with upload speeds all right so now we're gonna do the iPhone 10s again same Wi-Fi network same place let's run the test on the iPhone 10s and it looks like we're reaching approximately 85 to 86 not a big difference maybe 87 but it looks like it's pretty similar in regards to download speeds and the upload speeds here it looks like it's gonna be very very close as well the iPhone 10 got seven point forty six the iPhone 10's looks like it's pretty much the same thing 7.50 is or so so in regards to network speeds or Wi-Fi speed I should say it looks like these two devices are performing identical okay so now what I want to do is go ahead and turn Wi-Fi off on both of these two devices and try the AT&T network now my network here doesn't have a lot of strength as you see there there's only two lines of LTE on both devices but we're gonna do iPhone 10 first on the AT&T network to see what the numbers look like and see if we get any difference in terms of downloads and uploads performance here you see they're very very poor performance by AT&T at least in the area that I live in and that's a bit unfortunate because I've had a tin tea for quite some time and every we moved and it looks like the connection here is just very very poor we got 3.40 download speeds and uploads beats we're barely reaching the r1 so there you guys have it very very poor performance of AT&T network in the area where I live so one upload so let's do the iPhone 10s here so the iPhone 10s should theoretically outperform the iPhone 10 and it looks like that so on the AT&T network it looks like it's peaking up to eight drops down to six but it's definitely performing better with the same amount of signal bars you see there are two bars on the iPhone 10 we got 3.4 on the iPhone 10's 9.20 so the upload speeds is also slightly higher at least at the moment we're reaching close to 2 down or upload sorry and that is on the AT&T network as well you see there AT&T with the LTE 2 bars of strength we got two point twenty nine so definitely on the network speed side not so much the Wi-Fi but the LTE network speeds on AT&T GSM devices here it looks like the iPhone 10s definitely outperforms the iPhone 10 let me know what you think in the comments down below do you own the iPhone 10 or the iPhone 10s and how it's the performance man for you thank you for watching and I'll see you on the next one pacehey guys over the last several days many reports indicate that the iPhone 10s can outperform the iPhone 10 in
