The Art of Flipping Websites: A New Venture

I've always been fascinated by the idea of buying an existing website and flipping it for profit. It's a business model that I love, where you take an existing site and make it even better to generate revenue, traffic, and all that stuff. I decided to give this concept a try, but for now, I'm going to start fresh with my own project.

I won't be discussing this project in any of my videos, mainly because I want to grow my brand organically through paid search and paid advertising. I don't do enough of this, and I think it could really benefit my brand. Let's face it, websites aren't magically found by accident. To be discovered online, you need to stand out with advertising. This is exactly how I discover most of the things I enjoy. Sometimes, I even find great content on Google AdWords or Facebook ads that genuinely interest me.

I'm excited to start setting aside a monthly budget for advertising and see the results. I think this could really help my brand take off. When it comes to online discovery, you need to be visible and noticeable. Paid search and paid advertising are essential tools in today's digital landscape. By investing time and money into these strategies, I'm confident that I can grow my brand and reach a wider audience.

Organic Growth vs. Paid Advertising

I've been trying to balance organic growth with paid advertising for some time now. While there's nothing like discovering new content on your own terms, paid advertising has its benefits. By using platforms like Google AdWords or Facebook ads, I can target specific audiences and increase my visibility online. It's a great way to reach people who are actively searching for the type of content I create.

I'm not opposed to paying for advertising; in fact, I think it's essential. When you're just starting out, organic growth is important, but once you've built a loyal audience, paid advertising can be a game-changer. It allows you to reach a wider audience and increase your revenue streams. By investing in paid advertising, I'm confident that I can grow my brand and achieve long-term success.

The Breakfast for Dinner Experiment

After a long day of recording video content, there's nothing like coming home and enjoying a hearty breakfast for dinner. Today, I decided to try out a new recipe: scrambled eggs with pork roll, toast, and ketchup. It was a bit of an experiment, but the results were delicious!

I love scrambled eggs, and adding some cheddar cheese to the mix took them to a whole new level. The addition of pork roll added a nice savory element that complemented the eggs perfectly. And let's not forget the toast – crispy on the outside, soft on the inside. It was the perfect breakfast for dinner.

A Break from Normalcy

Sometimes, you just need a break from your normal routine. That's exactly what I'm doing today. Instead of diving straight into editing and uploading video content, I decided to take some time off. I want to relax, recharge, and enjoy some quiet time with a good book or some music.

It's funny how sometimes the most unexpected things can bring us joy. Like when you're browsing through social media, and you come across an ad that catches your eye. That's exactly what happened when I stumbled upon the No Man's Sky limited edition Patrick. It was like a little treat for me, something to look forward to.

that fall on a month-to-month basis that's just not plausible for my current um life situation that's very very important to me and a handful of you on Facebook said David I have to be honest when you took away the patron only Vlogs that sucked I I I just couldn't pledge anymore and I completely understand that's fine we all see different value in patreon and I think that's cool that's what makes patreon so interesting uh but the fact that you did enjoy the pages only Vlog so much that's a big deal so if I do bring back to patrons only Vlogs in September at least that's my way of knowing that I'll have a handful of you coming back to patreon and well that's just important data right there it really is it never hurts to put yourself out there guys if you're ever nervous about something or you're not sure if something's going to work out out ask your followers on social media ask your audience ask the people who made you into the person that you are today so I'm really really glad I um kind of vented on Facebook I didn't vent I wasn't mad I was definitely upset um I wasn't myself yesterday I felt down I felt mildly depressed it just felt like I failed but the more I thought about I was like David you didn't fail a lot of people are enjoying the daily Vlogs just it's just not the right time to daily Vlog right now so we'll see what happens we'll see again we still have 2 weeks to project pretty late which makes me happy I love having a new project to keep me busy to get me occupied throughout the day because this whole self-employment thing you don't always have work to do some days are busier than other like today I could be really busy and tomorrow I could just sit around all day and I hate sitting around I do most people probably love the idea of being lazy and just watching Netflix all day not me I mean I love Netflix I love lounging but during the day I need to be working I need to feel productive otherwise I just feel like crap so today shall be productive and looks cool now well today's Vlog is scheduled to go live at 12:00 p.m. 2 minutes to go I'm very curious to see what the feedback is going to be like I'm a little nervous well because there's always those few people who diss me for the stupidest sorry it's the truth people think they know me just from watching videos but I also have to put myself first I have to do what's best for me and know I wasn't crying if it looks like I'm crying I just sneezed I've been sneezing a lot lately I don't know if I'm congested from the AC cuz I wake up all like sniffy and whatever I was going to say I wake up stiff that's definitely not the right adjective it's like a first person shooter and the coffee is my weapon I totally play that oh speaking of games I have a very exciting game to open today I'll did because most people on YouTube have my back they know exactly what I'm saying I had to make the right decision and it's okay to ask people um what they want out of this but then there's this person on Facebook she's like David it's really not right to guilt people into giving you money or making the right choice well that's not what I'm trying to do I thought I explained to myself well but clearly I didn't in this person's eyes and that's fine it's just very interesting when you have like 98% of people over here supporting you and then there's the 2% who like to see things from a completely different perspective I don't know maybe they're just hardwired that way they don't see things the way you think they should and that's fine that's fine that's what makes people so interesting we all think differently but as long as most people get me that's what matters so for those who do support me thank you so much I appreciate it I promise we're going to get through this heating up so they need some cooling um mechanism built in but the fact that the microphone can pick up the fan noise I don't think that's smart and yes I realize I could connect an external microphone but still it shouldn't be that way just my opinion but come on it's a camcorder that cost $1,000 you think they would have designed it differently regardless though this camera is excellent and I'm loving it so sometimes just by the is you can begin to see some useful oh wow Sony actually refunded my $25 long story oh God if you tap your nose sometimes a sneeze stops oh God told you him
