The Unveiling of Motion Sim: A Desert Simulator Experience
As SuperCar Blondie here, I'm thrilled to introduce you to this incredible simulator experience that's about to take over the desert. We've got a massive machine that can go in all different directions, and we're going to lift it off with a crane right smack bang in the middle of the desert. Let's get this day going!
Nathan has come out to work on the generator, bringing a 400-watt unit to power our beast. I'm not exactly sure what those numbers mean, but Nathan assured me it would be enough. We're bringing electricity into the middle of the road here because we wanted to make things difficult. It's random how much effort goes into creating these simulations.
As we take a closer look at the simulator, you can see two hydraulic units on each side of the boat, and another set on this side as well. This gives us an idea of just how extreme this machine is going to be. We've also got motors powering this beast, which is why we needed a generator in the first place. And, for good measure, there's an emergency kill switch – what racing simulator needs that?
The surround sound speakers are getting ready to provide an immersive experience, and you can see the three screens surrounding us. It's going to feel like we're totally surrounded by the race. Buckle up, everyone! I need these harnesses because we can actually fall off this thing. Let's get started!
It's time to restart the race – this is the most important button, guys. Are you ready for this? Okay, ready? Ready, ready, ready... This is ridiculous! Concentrate on the race like this; it's pretty cool. You've got these pedals, accelerator, and brake. Don't worry about the clutch for this game.
Here we go! I think I'm not a pro at this as you can probably tell. Motion down – that's my favorite part of the experience. A moment of peace isn't that unbelievable. This simulator costs 40,000 dollars, but it was worth every penny to show you this incredible thing. Thank you so much to Motion Sim for making this happen.
We've actually trucked this machine all the way into the middle of the desert – what a perfect location for something like this! You can feel the breeze in your face, almost as if you're driving a convertible when you're out here. It's exhilarating!
