The Car of My Dreams: A Corvette Enthusiast's Joy

I'm writing this as I sit behind the wheel of my brand-new 2019 Corvette ZR1, and I have to say, it feels like the first time I've ever owned one of these cars. The dual roof package is a great feature that adds an extra layer of luxury and exclusivity to this already impressive vehicle. silverado which is over there for this new mystery car which I'm sure you can kind of guess what it is but the dealership in the Chevy dealership near me where my buddy Matt Beaver works is trading this car for mine this vehicle for my new one and we're driving about seven hours to get it now this is my backup car if you guys didn't see the big disaster debacle of me trying to get my last car definitely check it out a pulling down below people are going wild over it it was a pretty I mean an interesting story to say the least but I'm very excited to get this new one and I guess let's hit the road pony you wiggle that big butt at me don't do that not really sure if there's a point in filming because I don't think you can see anything but I got my water I see four energy drink I got my stuff here I don't have any snacks yet but we're gonna get some along the way I believe I guess we'll uh we'll get ready for the seven and a half hour drive good news is it's not actually as long as I thought I thought it would be I think I said about eight hours but it looks like it's only gonna be a little over seven hopefully if everything goes right so fingers crossed but that's actually not that bad this is a dealer car I don't actually have the registration well I was making great time basically on a road trip you can make great time two ways number one you go really slow and then you don't have to stop the fuel or you go all out and hope you can make up time on the fuel stop for this trip I was gonna have to stop cool either way so I chose to go all out so far we're making great time you extra hashbrowns you too thank you very much truck is refueled I'm refueled while I'm about to be and we're getting back on the road two and a half hours left right still making really good time and normally I'm sure you're wondering you know why didn't you get the car shipped to you and normally I would you know getting a new car I would get it shipped to my house or to the dealership whatever but this car I really want to use this weekend for the poke and overall racing event and for the type of car I'm getting which if you haven't figured it out by now I'm not gonna spoil it but I'm I'm sure it's pretty obvious but the car I'm getting it has a 500-mile break-in period before you can race it or at least that's what the manufacturers suggest so it actually works out perfectly because I'll drive at about 400 and that's right about 490 miles home so when I get home it'll be dropped off right away for the oil change that you get once the break-in period is over and then it will be ready to write so it works out for me and normally I don't travel this far I don't drive this far but because I needed to get these miles out of the way for the vehicle it really is perfect one more thing as we get really close here 23 miles to Jacksonville where the dealership is located just because like I'm kind of finding things out in real time because I just uploaded the video last night and that's why I was such an early upload at 8 p.m. normally I upload it like 10 11 sometimes midnight but it was early last night because I went to bed to get up for this trip but because I'm finding things out as it's happening in real time one big thing I wanted to mention was the reason why that car was so perfect and why it was so hard to find one I know there are a few CR ones out there even a few manual ones but I wanted black on black blue calipers comp seats suede inserts all that stuff so it was a little bit hard to find and there was really only one and that was the one but I do appreciate everybody suggesting different ones and if you could also if you have time you feel generous check out my buddy Matt beaver give him a follow on Instagram he went like I said above and beyond during this whole process setting up the first deal than this one and he wasted a lot of his own and for me you know I'm a youtuber so like yes I wasted some money and some time but it's not that big of a deal whereas that's his job every day and his you know his work and his career so and it is mine too but I'm a little bit more flexible so for him to waste all that time and to order a car a hundred and seven thousand dollar car to replace the one she was supposed to sell it's a really big deal so check him out Matthew Beaver 31 and we should be arriving here at the dealership and like about about 20 minutes destination is on your left okay well we're here a long trip wow they do have a lot of trouble they got a Chevy parked on top of cars in the parking lot this is this is my type of place but we're finally here long trip actually not bad at all I think we left at what like 250 and I'm here by basically 9 o'clock so really only about a little over six hours which is not bad at all and I think that total trip is like 490 miles somewhere in there so I made really good time even with my uh my pullover but apparently this is like a Marine town there's a Marine base nearby they were not kidding they do sell a lot of trucks or at least they have a lot so I assume they sell a lot look at that Black Horse Edition Silverado that looks really cool and this is what I was referring to that is awesome these are my people here right up my alley anyway let's go find my car and I'm gonna try to get back on the road pretty quick because I want to hit the DC traffic and everything at the same in the same like good time period that I did on the way down if that makes sense like I don't want to be there anywhere near rush-hour I actually really have no idea where I'm kind of weird like I had a 570 I had a 720 but this is like I don't know this really feels this just feels right I don't know I guess I really did miss having a Corvette I don't know if it's unlocked but it has the comp seats which was a must for me calm seats suede insert carbon-fiber look at that beautiful gloss carbon fiber on the seat and the full carbon - as well really really cool that gloss carbon is gorgeous on these Corvettes and the gloss carbon on the wheel oh my god it's got it all yes this one actually has the dual roof package as well so I have this one and another roof it's my 2019 zr1 carbon on the vent as well I think this car stickers it like one yeah 144 six so a little bit more expensive I'm up about fourteen grand from the car I was going to get before that deal fell through but the plus side is this is brand-new and it gets beaver a sale a new Corvette sale back home so this counts towards his c8 Corvette allocations which I will be getting one of those as well so if I can help him in that way that's pretty cool but there you go mmm I like it I like it I can't wait to drive it and I can't wait to race this thing black on black with blue which matches the badging and then this car actually has the little carbon fiber center cap which is neat I wanted black because the goal is to wrap it and if you're gonna wrapped a car black is a great color to have as a base because it hides everything and it looks good underneath I love I love that blue I've really looked at it up close but that blue is a really really cool shade Wow well let me know what you
