Fix It Felix Jr Mini Arcade Cabinet Arcade Classics Unboxing And Playthrough

Fix-It Felix Jr. Mini Arcade Review: A Retro Revival

For those who follow my channel, you know that I'm not a hardcore collector of arcade classics. My family consists of two kids who want to play these games, so I usually pick up multiple units of each game that I really like. The Fix-It Felix Jr. mini arcade is one such game that caught my eye, and I managed to snag it at Walmart for $20. However, I did check eBay and found that they were going for around $50, which is a bit steep considering the retail price.

As I was browsing through the shelves of Walmart, I noticed that there was only one Fix-It Felix Jr. mini arcade left, so I quickly grabbed it before it sold out. The game looks pretty sweet, and I'm absolutely loving Wreck-It Ralph and Part 2. I was expecting that the game would be a more substantial experience, but unfortunately, it's quite short-lived. The game lasts only about two and a half minutes, and I managed to fix all the windows and doors in that time.

The Fix-It Felix Jr. mini arcade comes with three modes, including medium and high volume settings. It also has a power button on the front and a little volume button. There's a four-way joystick on top of the unit, which is a bit notchy at times. The game requires you to hold it like a handheld Gameboy or something similar to play it. I tried my best to play it in a more traditional arcade setting, but I'm not sure how well that would work.

One of the coolest things about this mini arcade is its design. It's got a baby blue and old yellow color scheme that really makes it look retro. I think this might be my favorite-looking unit out of all the classic arcades that I have in my collection. The game itself is pretty simple: you jump around on top, hitting bricks to fix windows and doors. If you get hit three times, the game is over.

There are some variations in the levels, with double windows and single windows requiring different amounts of hits to fix. The game also has a pause feature that allows you to pause the game at any time by pressing the start button in the middle. I managed to pause the game and then unpauses it without any issues, which was nice.

As for collecting these mini arcades, I do think they're worth having. They're not going to be worth thousands of dollars down the road, but they make great conversation pieces and can fill up your shelf with some retro goodness. If you see one in stores or online, I would recommend picking it up at a retail price of $20. The eBay sellers are overpricing them, and I wouldn't pay more than that for any of these mini arcades.

In conclusion, the Fix-It Felix Jr. mini arcade is a fun little game that's perfect for retro enthusiasts. It may not be the most substantial experience, but it's still a great addition to my collection. If you're looking to add some retro flair to your shelf or office, I would highly recommend picking one up. And if you do manage to snag one of these, make sure to subscribe to the channel and hit that like button for more retro reviews!

"WEBVTTKind: captionsLanguage: enwhat's going on guys the CTA Prime back here again the other day I was at my local Walmart and this actually caught my eye I heard about it being released I didn't know if it was gonna be out yet or not I wasn't specifically looking for it but from time to time I do buy these my arcade classics when I see ones I like but anyway this is the fix-it Felix jr. version and I'm not sure if they're only available at Walmart they're 20 bucks if you can get them online at Walmart or in-store but I did check eBay they're going for about 50 bucks so like I mentioned I'm not a hardcore collector of these many my arcades I actually have two kids and they want to play these so I usually pick up two of each that I really liked like the rampage and the joust unfortunately I couldn't pick up two of these fix-it Felix jr. z-- because there was only one left on the shelf I also collect those little mini keychain arcades I have the whole collection unfortunately I can't find any of them because the kids take off with them and just last week my daughter actually got in trouble in her first-grade class for bringing one in attached to her backpack all right but we're not here for that we're here for the fix-it Felix jr. mini arcade and this thing looks pretty sweet I absolutely love wreck-it Ralph and part twos coming out very shortly and I'm pretty sure they release this an anticipation that it would sell because part two is being advertised right now either way I'm pretty glad that I got my hands on one now like I mentioned they are available at Walmart for 20 bucks I want to leave links in the description they are out of stock as of making this video but you might have one at your local Walmart I seriously wouldn't suggest buying one on eBay or Amazon for an inflated price they will have more of these in stock I'm sure basic fun wants to make as much money as they can so they'd make two million of these units if they have to let's go ahead and get into some gameplay it's got a power button on the front a little volume button it's got three modes it has a medium and a high volume we have a fix-it button a start button and a four-way joystick up top the best way to play these is holding it like a handheld Gameboy or something like that but I'm gonna try my hardest to play here on the tape for you guys hopefully I can at least get through the first stage if they offer stages in this version so basically the object is to fix the windows and the doors on the building here Ralph is gonna start jumping around up top and bricks are gonna fall you get three hits so if you get hit three times it's game over you can also pause the game by pressing the start button in the middle and once you've finished like these floors here it should go up a little bit to the next set of floors we'll have to fix everything up until the top of the billabong so most of these are just double windows you hit it twice I'll fix it out some of them are single it's very simple game play but it is pretty fun now I see these more of a collector's item it's not going to be worth money in the future I mean these aren't going to be worth thousands of dollars down the road but it's a good conversation piece and it's a pretty cool to fill up your shelf of things let's see how far we can go I haven't got hit once yet just gotta kind of stay out of his way and this joystick is notched so it's a four-way joystick and sometimes when I'm trying to hit left or right I kind of get locked out of that position I can't move over you just kind of got to do it a couple times it's definitely not a precision joystick so it looks like I fixed it and I guess that's the end of the game here I'm gonna throw Ralph all I figured we'd go at least to another level but it looks like that's it I mean you can set a high score you can try to beat your own scores you want to I wasn't expecting like a 50 hour RPG or anything like that I just thought the game might last a little longer than two and a half minutes so that's pretty much it for this video guys I really appreciate you watching in my opinion these are worth twenty dollars I wouldn't pay any more than 20 bucks for any of these if you can find them on the clearance aisle which I do see some of the older ones definitely recommend picking them up they're awesome to set on your shelf or just have in the office out of all of these classic arcade and my arcade cabinets my favorites got to be rampage but I think the best-looking one now is the fix-it Felix jr. version the baby blue and that old yellow just make it look super retro and I'm really diggin it if you guys could hit that like button subscribe to the channel and like always thanks for
