The Solo Run

As the crew noticed that something wasn't quite right with the Tesla Power Odyssey app, they decided to take it for a solo run. here not too long ago when it was eoy when it was an exoc cage Tesla Model S plaid I accidentally almost put it into the wall oh buddy luckily we didn't do that but now it is out here as the platy it's the first time out here with the van body on it for those of you that don't know this is a 2001 Honda Odyssey Minivan body on top a Tesla Model S plaid and we're going to see how well it can hold up in these Circle drags out here it is on a different tire from when it was last time we are on a Nitto nt555 R2 drag radial which will be a much stickier compound than the tires we had on it before we just had the factory model S plaid tires they usually come with like Michelin Pilot Sports so this should be a better tire for grip and they are also wider I'm actually a little worried that they're going to rub pretty bad going into the corners because they are really wide back here and the Odyssey body it was just not meant for a setup this wide but we got the fenders rolled out as best we could if they rub it is what it is we're going to get out there and see how good we can do in this thing but I'm pretty excited guys we haven't been out here like I said since it was ooy and we did really good in eroy but unfortunately we got rained out early so hopefully you know the weather holds out today it looks nice and beautiful not a cloud in the sky so we should be good and we got this guy pulling up yeah that guy's just salty from when I beat up on his truck in this thing so you know he had to come out here with his fancy Porsche we'll see if he can uh keep up with us or not out here at the freedom Factory am I seeing this right I think that's the line for the circle drags there I was tricked bro Adam goes there's not enough people not not enough people are going to show up 550 wheel horsepower Audi that's what it'sing road race car oh damn got some me on that one big dog we got The Spectator drag cars lining up we got the platy right there got ourselves an Audi this one yours yes sir anything done to her nothing special just stage one mza nothing special but I'm sure you like to send it out there right yeah oh yeah so we got an Audi looks like another Audi we got another Tesla right here this one looks to be a model sp100d so a little bit older model 50 Mustang Volkswagen GTI a plaid we got this Toyota over here I believe that's the new Corolla gr we got a ZO6 Corvette we got a GMC Cyclone we got a another Audi with some Meats on it big old front mount intercooler and then we got this Evo back here almost all of these all-wheel drive cars minus the vet and Mustang should be interesting boys we'll see how we can do so we're in line right now behind the other spectator drag cars but I do need to let you guys know that we are just a touch over 50% battery maybe 55 56% I did my best to try to get this thing as charged up as possible but we just got back from sick week which was a drag and drive event that took us all over Florida and I had to drive two hours home from Orlando last night I let it charge overnight and my house I have a slow charger I'm coming up with a lot of excuses here but I tried to top it off as best I could and I had to drive it an hour out here so that is the only thing it might slow us down just a touch overall it should do pretty much the same regardless but we are on those better tires we got Cletus out here in his Porsche it's on some fat hooers this Evo looks like it's on some hooers on all four as well and then we have another Tesla Model S plaid and then a p100d so I'm sure those are going to be very fast as well and I think it might come down to which driver has the most balls and obviously skill so we'll see how good we can do out here boys in the platy and also for our first run we don't have anybody next to us we did actually get a buy run because we drew chips and I didn't have anybody to go up against me since we had an odd number of cars so I actually get to make a test hit luckily and I'm kind of happy about that cuz I want to see how bad these tires are going to rub because if it's really bad you know there might be a chance I might not be able to do this right now I did bring the other OEM Tesla wheels and tires that fit much better but I won't have time to swap them out so hopefully we can get around without rubbing too bad and we'll be good to go down looking for the green
