K Miata Vs. Evo 1 RS - TRACK BATTLE
Cove Speakers Sponsorship and Track Day Review
The article begins with the narrator expressing their gratitude to Cove speakers, who have been sponsoring their videos lately. The narrator invites their audience to check out Cove speakers and take advantage of the 65% discount offer by using the code "Adam65" at checkout. They share that they have received positive feedback from their viewers regarding the quality of Cove speakers, and they are happy to continue working with them.
The article then shifts to the track day event, where the narrator and their friends are competing in various cars. The narrator describes the beautiful surroundings of the track, stating that it is "sick" and "forgot how beautiful this place is." They also mention that Tommy's Caminada will be joining them on the track, but Tommy is not instructed to participate.
As the day progresses, the narrator shares their experience with driving various cars on the track. They praise the brakes of one of the cars, stating that they feel nice. However, they express concerns about being able to keep up with the pace of the other drivers, particularly Tommy. The narrator mentions that they are not familiar with the lines on the track and wonders if they should try to run faster or let off.
The article then delves into the technical aspects of driving, including the use of GPS and rev limiter. The narrator expresses their surprise at how quickly the pace changes on the track, with the leader often being the slowest driver due to their aggressive style. They also mention that the Miata is experiencing a GPS issue, which causes it to stall.
The article takes a humorous turn as Tommy shares his experience driving the truck. He reveals that he can set a faster lap in the truck than the narrator's Evo, and he explains how to drive off-road. The narrator joins in on the fun, and they engage in a playful competition to see who can navigate the track more quickly.
As the day comes to a close, the narrator takes a moment to reflect on their experience at the track. They mention that they are impressed by Tommy's driving skills, particularly his ability to link sections of the track together smoothly. The article concludes with the narrator expressing their gratitude to Doug and Tommy for making the day so enjoyable.
The final section of the article focuses on the narrator's car, a 1999 ol motor and B Miata that they built years ago. They share details about the car's modifications, including its all-motor build, individual throttle bodies, and standalone tuned engine. The narrator also mentions that they have rewrapped their seats with European Lotus Elise seats, which they find to be "really cool." The article concludes by highlighting the narrator's passion for cars and their appreciation for the opportunity to share their experience at the track day event.
"WEBVTTKind: captionsLanguage: enwhat's up guys as I said yesterday we are going to a racetrack today we're going to Lime Rock Park up in Connecticut extremely scenic drive all the way there and we're going to be ripping on the autocross track today with the Evo Tommy's came iana maybe some other stuff and we just got a few hours at the track trying to send some cool lap times have some fun I've been very much so enjoying the drive there except for the fact that I keep getting stuck behind cars for this cars a blast to drive it's just so light and nimble need a light car in my life s13 it's just insane I think one of my favorite things about this car is actually the gearbox wine it sounds so nifty it sounds cooler when I'm shifting but I can't really do that while I'm filming I kind of do have a little bit of history with lime rock the first ever automotive event or whatever you want to call it I've ever done was that lime rock it was an autocross event that actually did that my mom's and Tech's boyfriend's Camaro SS and it was the first time I ever really did any sort of performance oriented driving and I think it was like 16 or 17 years old and I was able to slay a bunch of Porsches and Corvettes and like Miatas and the Camaro SS with no experience and then it like made me like alright I want to do something with driving and I wanted to build a track car but it never did and then I kind of fell out of cars because I was so consumed with like college and everything for a while and then Lime Rock kind of popped up again when I first got my 240 my intentions were to leave it in Connecticut and drive the events that they had up at Lime Rock but I never got around to it and I actually stopped drifting at Lime Rock I think for like noise and track damage purposes and I haven't been here since but we're back today and we're just gonna have some fun on across some cars one thing that's come in handy big-time while I've been driving the Evo RS around in case you guys don't remember this thing actually doesn't even have a radio so I've been using that little cove commuter bluetooth wireless speaker and this thing's super rad I left mine at home but this one's actually Tom you see has one too and he lent it to me it fits right in here then we got tunes for the whole car it's actually designed specifically so it can fit a cup holder which is pretty rad works up to eight hours in a single charge and it actually doubles as a speakerphone to definitely found a lot of use for this speaker and I'm very very appreciative that they've been sponsoring my videos lately if you guys want to learn more about the commuter speaker and hear how great the quality is you can get one for yourself you can go to Cove speakers comm forward slash Adam 65 and that will get knows of course well Tom Lewis mortgagor guy just worked here but we've had a lot of laps on the track these are not good either I like the brakes on this yeah I think they feel nice Tommy says he's limiter or should I let off okay where's reverse it's pretty interesting that me and tell me you're noticing whoever's leading is always the slowest probably because they're going too hard so then whenever we're falling other person were right on like we're literally right on their bumper regardless of the car so it's kind of interesting but the Miata is acting up I guess this is a GPS issue I think I'm bad luck because now that evil won't start either it's got an oil light there's no like pool of oil underneath of it right okay Tommy things that you can set a faster lap in the truck than me and the Evo what a weirdo I don't get it going offroad oh my goodness serious hill yeah so pretty much everything on the floor is gonna go flying around right now I can't see cuz my Vipers are so
