My August Favorites
As we dive into the final month of summer, I'm excited to share with you my favorite things that I've been using, watching, and wearing during this time of year. First up, let's talk about makeup. I recently picked up a bright and colorful eyeshadow palette from Walmart's generic makeup section. The colors are so vibrant and adorable, and I've been wearing them nonstop since getting it.
I also got my hands on the L'Oreal Sublime Bronze self-tanner. What I love most about this product is that it doesn't make you turn orange or color you too quickly. Instead, the color slowly grows over time, giving you a natural-looking tan glow. I've been using it mostly on my legs and have found that two coats do the trick for me, lasting for about a week before needing to be reapplied. As someone who is naturally pale, I was worried that this product would give me an unnatural tan, but it's actually been really subtle and flattering.
The best part? The self-tanner comes in a travel-sized bottle, making it perfect for tossing into my suitcase or purse whenever I'm on-the-go. One of the bottles also came with this little tiny brush, which is super cute and has been getting so much use. All in all, I'm loving the way this product makes me look and feel.
Next up, let's talk about nail polish. I recently picked up a green and blue shade from Sinful Colors that have been absolutely adorable on my nails. What really sets these polishes apart is how long they last - I put on three coats of the blue one and it stayed on for two whole weeks with barely any chipping! The other shade, while beautiful in its own right, also lasted a good amount of time without needing to be touched up.
I've always been a bit self-conscious about my nails because I chip them so quickly. But these polishes have completely changed the game for me. Whether you're looking for a bright and fun color or a more subtle shade, Sinful Colors has got you covered.
Clothing-wise, I've been pretty minimal this month except for one adorable sweater from Pon that I just can't get enough of. The design is super simple - it's just solid gray with an adorable little alien on it - but that's part of its charm. Plus, the cropped fit and frayed edges make it perfect for pairing with high-waisted pants or shorts.
Of course, no August favorites list would be complete without mentioning TV shows! I recently started watching Teen Wolf and I am absolutely hooked. The show is so addictive and fun to watch - Dylan O'Brien's adorable chemistry with the rest of the cast is just one reason why I'm obsessed. Plus, who wouldn't want to get married to a cute nerdy guy like him?
The only thing that's keeping me from binge-watching an entire season at once (because let's be real, homework can wait) is that I don't want to spoil any of the plot twists or surprises for myself. But trust me when I say that Teen Wolf is definitely worth checking out - even if you're not a fan of supernatural shows, the characters and storyline are just so compelling.

it's pretty much just angry Donald Duck and him yelling random things which is so cute it is Disney backpack and the brand is Vans but then I got it from and I think I'm saying this right Talia surf they have the backpack at Vans and at stores like Zoomies and stuff that carry Vans but it was literally sold out everywhere like I called so many stores and it was just sold out everywhere and that's how I found Talia surf online I love it I haven't actually worn it yet because I just got it yesterday but I will be wearing it Bunch next we're moving on to makeup so um recently I went to L'Oreal at the mall and I picked up two eyeshadows I actually just got this eyeshadow and it's a really like pretty pink color it's kind of like a darker pink which it works really nice for like contouring on like the back of your eye um and then I got a free eyeshadow with the purchase of this which was this eyeshadow and it comes with a lot of colors it has two pinks over here one really light one that I'm actually wearing right now on the lid of my eye and then this darker pink one which I'm wearing behind to give my eye some pop and then I highlight with this top color up here it's just kind of like a creamy pinky peachy kind of white color and then also comes with a black and gold which I haven't tried yet but I'm planning on wearing this gold for homecoming because it'll go with my dress really well next for makeup I got this red lipstick called rose bush and it's kind of like a orang orangy kind of red but it's really pretty and I'm super excited to wear it in winter I think it'll go great with like a leather jacket or something and then a pop of like red orange color but it's also really fun for the summer I've been wearing it a lot because it's just so bright and colorful and it so much because like I said it's just really simple and then just has this little like touch of alienness um yeah so yeah it is a cropped sweater um so it's kind of got like little frayed edges which I think is cute and so yeah I have to wear with high-waisted pants and then a lot of times I'll roll up the sleeves because it is still kind of Summer right now so yeah I know I'm going to be wearing this all winter and then the last thing I want to talk about for August favorites is TV shows I just started watching Teen Woolf oh my gosh it's so good I've been so addicted to it I watched three episodes yesterday which I probably should have done some homework or something but oh well um so if you watch Teen Wolf comment below don't spoil anything because I'm only on episode 9 but oh
