**A Quick Demo Video from David Defranco**
Hey everybody, how are you tonight? My name is David Defranco, and I'm a full-time content creator. I just wrapped up a very cool Twitch stream, and I wanted to thank all of my amazing viewers for their love and support. I was blown away by the number of bits and subs I received during the stream, and it really made my day.
**Unboxing the Sony A6100**
I also wanted to unbox this camera last week, and now I'm excited to show you guys a quick demonstration video of how good it looks. Doesn't this look amazing? I wish I could show you my webcam right now, but unfortunately, I completely destroyed the webcam source on OBS for a purpose that will become clear later. However, I think I'll put the Logitech webcam back in its original position on a very long USB extension cable just to give you an idea of my setup.
**Clean HDMI Output**
So, one thing I wanted to clear up is that this camera does indeed support clean HDMI output. That's exactly what it sounds like - you can output your HDMI source to your capture card and see exactly what the camera sees. In other words, this means you're not seeing any of that useless camera information like shutter priority or aperture data or anything like that. You're seeing a very clean image, and I'll show you just how clean by hiding it for a second... Boom! That's as clean as it gets. The video quality looks amazing, and the fact that this camera supports clean HDMI output is a huge deal.
**24/7 Recording Capability**
The next thing I want to talk about is the fact that this camera actually can stay on 24/7. Don't let anyone tell you otherwise because I've been doing a lot of research before buying this camera, and one of the biggest worries I had was would this camera turn off every 30 minutes? But nope! The maximum auto power-off time on this camera is indeed 30 minutes, which means that I would literally have to reach over to the camera and press the shutter button to tell it that I'm still using it, even though it's not done capturing. However, with that said, even though the camera says in the settings menu that it will turn off after 30 minutes of inactivity, don't believe this for whatever reason. Sony doesn't make this more clear, but trust me when I say that this camera can indeed stay on as long as it's outputting to a live HDMI source.
**Conclusion and Call to Action**
So there you have it - clean HDMI output and the camera can always stay on as long as it's outputting to HDMI. I hope this video has helped, and if you're thinking about buying the Sony A6100 for your Twitch streams, mixer streams, YouTube streams, or whatever else you use it for, then this is definitely a camera worth considering. And don't forget to follow me on Twitch - [link] - I appreciate all of my amazing viewers, and I'll see you next time!

cable just showing my setup during my be back soon scene you know when i make coffee and all that stuff but anyway this looks great doesn't it the sony a6100 okay so truth be told i didn't just want i'm just kidding i'm just kidding okay so two things and then i can finally go to bed number one this camera does indeed supports clean hdmi that's exactly what it sounds like you output your hdmi source to your capture card and you guys see exactly what the camera sees so in other words this means you're not seeing any of that useless camera information like shutter priority or aperture data or anything like that you're seeing a very clean image and let me just hide this for seconds boom there you go that's as clean as it gets like it's a 100 clean hdmi source which is amazing but for now let me just turn that scene back on or that source rather and uh there you go the video quality looks amazing clean hdmi is absolutely perfect but most cameras do have a clean hdmi out nowadays so the next thing i want to talk about is the fact that this camera actually can stay on 24 7. do not let anyone tell you otherwise because i've been doing a lot of research before buying this camera and one of the biggest worries of mine was well is this camera going to turn off every 30 minutes because i will say the max auto power off time on this camera is 30 minutes so in other words i would literally have to reach over to the camera press the shutter button to tell the camera that i'm still using it even though it's not done even though it's not technically capturing i need sleep because the camera is technically just in standby mode i mean that's literally all it's doing it's in standby mode however with that said even though the camera does say in the settings menu that it will turn off after 30 minutes of inactivity do not believe this for whatever reason sony doesn't make this more clear i i don't know why however take my word for it today i'm telling you with 100 certainty that this camera can indeed stay on as long as it's outputting to a live hdmi source i could literally go to bed right now leave obs open and it would still be outputting the hdmi that is a huge deal that is a huge huge deal and i cannot recommend buying a camera that does not have a feature such as that so there you go clean hdmi and the camera can always stay on as long as it's outputting to hdmi maui what are you doing come here anyway guys there you go thank you so much for watching i hope this camera i hope this video helped once again i need sleep and of course if you do want to buy
