Rock Creek goes 'Rogue' for 2025

The 2025 Nissan Rogue Rock Creek Edition: A New Off-Road Oriented Model

It was only a matter of time before Nissan decided to bestow its off-road oriented Rock Creek badge upon another model in its lineup, and now we have a name - the 2025 Nissan Rogue Rock Creek Edition. This new model echoes the styling of the Pathfinder Rock Creek, featuring a blacked out grill, red accents, chunkier details in the faces and moldings, a tubular roof track, and Falcon wild Peak all-terrain tires.

Inside the vehicle, we find water repellent leathered seating with red accents and piano black plastic trim. Unfortunately, the Rogue already received Nissan's latest Android automotive-based operating system for the infotainment last year, so we still see that here. However, as part of the other 2025 upgrades, the Rogue now has propilot assist 2.1, which is Nissan's latest level two handsfree driving assistant. This feature makes the Rogue the only gas-powered compact crossover in America to offer such a level two feature, and it's a huge plus for those who do a lot of long-distance highway driving.

Propilot Assist 2.1 is an excellent start, and it provides a sense of security for drivers who spend a lot of time on the road. It also offers two new camera views - front wide view and invisible Hood view - which provide a 176° view in front ideal for seeing around pillars in garages or parked cars on the street. Additionally, the Rock Creek's off-road view in the 360° camera system makes it easier to tackle moderate trails.

The 2025 Rogue and The Rock Creek Edition continue to be powered by the variable compression 1.5 L turbocharged 3-cylinder, making 2011 horsepower and 225 lb feet of torque paired to a CVT. However, Nissan's intelligent all-wheel drive with Hill descent control is standard on both models. This means that drivers can tackle challenging terrain with confidence.

In terms of pricing, we don't know just yet, but it should be announced closer to its on-sale date later this year. The Rock Creek Edition is an alternative to the Toyota Rav 4 TRD off-road or the now-on-hiatus Subaru Forester Wilderness, which will make its return later this year or next year. However, the Rock Creek Edition offers a unique combination of features and capabilities that set it apart from its competitors.

The 2025 Nissan Rogue Rock Creek Edition is an exciting new model that offers a unique blend of off-road capability and comfort. With its advanced features, powerful engine, and stylish design, this vehicle is sure to appeal to drivers who want a versatile and capable SUV. Whether you're hitting the trails or just navigating everyday driving, the 2025 Rogue Rock Creek Edition has everything you need to stay safe and confident on the road.
