MID-WEEK 180 - Pointless Bugatti ! _ My Perfect Supercar

Welcome to Petrolhead and welcome to this week's Midweek 180 brought to you from the old town in Antibes in the South of France, where I am currently residing on my Holly Bob's. As always, I couldn't not bring you my midweek update if you've not seen one of these before, as it's a very simple format - just 180 seconds in the bottom left-hand corner of your screen and that's it. So, without further ado, let's get cracking with this week's Midweek 180.

I shall start my timer okay, and last week was the noisy man X, congratulations sir, who joined in the famous five by Isle Mo 69, Alan Butterfield, the daily driver, and the speed machine 35. Whoever puts the first comment this week will be my leader of the pack next week, and the first five comments you'll be in my famous five. So, where are you and what you're doing? I have two for you this week - Nick Brown was in Perth, Western Australia watching whilst he was at work, and I always love it when I get comments from the other side of the world. Hello Australia, and John s14, I was 2,600 feet up a mountain in the Ardèche because that was the nearest 4G signal he could find to watch the Midweek 180. Now that's commitment, but wherever you are right now and whatever you're doing, put it in the comments below, and I will give you a shout out next week.

Last week's question was whether or not you agreed with the suggestion that in the UK we should ban all forms of mobile phone use whilst driving a car, and there was a real debate in the comments section - very mixed reaction. I think the distraction was the big thing, and quite a few people said it would just be banning children in cars, that would be good, but it's a really interesting one, with very polarized views on it, but thank you for your comments.

This week's question is spurred by my Monday night video, which is all about my type of Hankook tyres and I asked the question - who of you or how many of you actually run the recommended psi or pressure from your manufacturer's on the little door plaque on your car or have you adjusted that? Because there's always very interesting views whenever you mention tire pressures in any video, everyone's got their own opinion. So, what do you do to use the manufacturers' ones or do you set your own?

This week's car news is this - now this is the Bugatti Chiron sent to DJ, which is basically a tribute to the epic EB 110, which was one of the coolest hypercars in I guess the 90s. You know just a mega, mega thing! It's an 8-litre W16 quad turbo engine, 1600 horsepower, naught to 60 in 2.4 seconds - not 224 and 6.1 seconds, it is absolutely ballistic! Now they've actually limited its top speed to 236 miles an hour, but the question I want to ask is why? Why am I just don't understand cars, aren't they all the same? It's not really any different to a normal Bugatti Chiron - they're only making 10 of them, cost £8.9 million each, and they've all been sold. They would be delivered till 2022 by which time we might even have the replacement to the EB110. I'd love to know your thoughts - just think it's pointless; it's not like a new car, it's just a styling kit on a Bugatti Chiron, maybe I'm being old and grumpy.

Very briefly, my long-term TTS is filming a video on that next week, so that will be coming to the channel very soon. After nearly 2,000 miles in that car, have an amazing appreciation of how it drives, and I'd love to share that with you all. But for now, let's move on.

I did a video recently for Hankook tires, just wanted to talk about working with brands, that might be a peddler - but no, it's not! Because I am on my Holly Bob's, I'm gonna get this edited and get it uploaded for tomorrow because it is actually Tuesday. I'm getting ahead of the curve, but I will see you on the next video if you've enjoyed this one, please give me a thumbs up - comments blow up always welcome, and if you haven't done so already, please subscribe to Petrolhead for plenty more content to come.

And finally, I'll raise a cold one to you all. I'll see you on that film you take care guys drive safe

Forest to visit my friends at McLaren New Forest so they could have a look at the r8 marlowe was there they said you want to go out in their 600 LT and I was absolutely captivated that by that car when I drove it on track so to get to drive it on the road was very very special we filmed it very quickly it was done pretty much in one take but I really do now feel that if I had the money which is very very unlikely that is my number one buy supercar right honestly on the track it's ballistic but you'll have to tune on Friday to see my thoughts on the road let you into a secret it was pretty good Monday night's video if you haven't seen it before I did a video for Hankook tires recently I just wanted to talk about working with brands and that might be a peddlers is that because I am on my
