**Gaming Experience on Nokia Lumia 525: A Review**

Further investigation revealed that even smaller games like Subway Surfers can expand to larger sizes when installed on the device. For example, while the game had a download size of 32 MB, its actual storage usage was around 83 MB. This highlights the importance of considering the storage requirements of each app before purchasing or installing them.

that it has 1 GB of RAM compared to the Lumia 520 hence it can play a lot of games and that shows in the boxing also as you can see on the box we have a picture of aspal 8 and if you're buying this Lumia 525 in India actually uh they are bundling about 2,000 Rupees worth of games with this I'll have the link of that PDF document in the show notes you can check that out uh the thing to note with the Lumia 525 is that it has 8 GB of internal storage but out of that you do get just 4.5 GB and the thing with Windows phone is that you cannot move the app what do you say games and apps to a Micro SD card so the storage is kind of limited and I'll come back to one more big gone with this phone later on regarding gaming and as you can see I have a couple of games so we'll start with a casual game called Subway Surfer and then we'll move to heavy games one thing I did notice is that it does take quite a while to load the games it's not super fast in loading the games so this is Subway serer as I as I told you loading times are actually a bit high on this uh Lumia 525 for gaming but again we can't complain too much because uh coning the price point of this phone it's just around rup 10,000 and the fact that it can play some of the highend games is uh great uh you actually do get a lot of uh good games for free for example aspal 78 uh even Nova 3 and Modern Combat 4 also you get free uh again this offer is valid only for India and if you use an Indian SIM for example all the leading providers like a Asel vone Etc are included again check the PDF document that I have uh to get more info regarding the uh free games and as you can see uh it runs the Ser server uh for the most part without any issues and move to some other games so let's just get out of this one and you just hit this button and you can press this back button to multitask and let's kill all the other games that we are running nothing else is running so let's go back and now let's play Real Racing 2 I'll just skip the loading screens and jump directly to the game so this is Real Racing 2 on this Lumia 525 again the screen quality uh provided on this Lumia 525 is very good and also as you can see the speaker volume is actually very good let me change the camera angles and as you can see it's running this uh Real Racing to also without any issues I do sometimes see a little bit Dro in frames but again it's very very much playable I would say as you can see it's able to handle everything canum the camera angles so as you can see it's playing this one also well so let me get of this one and let's move to the next game now let's move to Assassin Creeds so this is Assassin Creeds finally settl good opportunity to sech out and next we'll move to some higher games highend games later on and as you can see it's able to uh run this game also without any issues casual games like this is not a problem so this is Assassin Creed and as you can see it's running this one also without any issues so let me move to uh next game now um and uh let's play this aspal 8 and before that let me show you the storage that is available on this device again do note that I haven't installed any app I have just formatted the phones so only these games are installed and let me go to the settings and if we go to storage phone storage it says we have 2.8 GB or so free for example here it will show us 2.8 GB is free out of that 7 GB so that 2GB is free let's go back to our games and let's try this aspal 8 I also tried aspal 7 that also ran fine so this is the Iceland level for Asphalt 8 I'm using on screen uh controls steing controls and as you can see all Graphics are getting rendered let me do the drift as you can see it's running it fine and the game is uh very much playable but I would say it is the smoothest uh game play that I have seen there is a little bit of drop frames actually aspal 7 runs a lot better and as you can see it is very much playable but again there is a small hint of drop frames here and there that I noticed I could also run actually Nova 3 on this one and for the most part it is playable but again at times there was a little bit of ch happiness here and there so as you can see uh this asphal 8 runs actually pretty well but again here and there there is a little bit of drop frames that you will notice and before that let me show you the graphic levels and as you can see uh it does not allow us to change any graphic settings that is interesting uh I think so uh this is the default setting and as you can see see uh most of the graphics are getting rendered on this aspal 8 so let me get out of this one again if you recall we did have about 2 GB of RAM uh sorry uh yeah 2 GB of storage free but uh let me show you one interesting thing uh let's go to uh get more games and uh let's try Modern Combat 4 and uh I did install it and I played it earlier and the the problem now is for example let me just go to Modern Combat 4 it says that the size is uh 1012 MB that's just around 1 GB so you might be thinking we have about 2 GB of space available it should install but the problem is when you hit install it says you have reached the storage limit on your phone so that is kind of uh disappointing and I did a lot of digging around and I did notice the thing is that the size here that it is showing is I think so the compressed uh download size the game actually expands and becomes a lot bigger for example uh let me just go back and in our collection The Sur surface downlo size was just 32 MB but let me show you how much space it actually takes on the phone here let me show you the settings and there is a app to know the Storage storage check and as you can see we do have free uh space that is 2.1 GB let me show you the apps details uh and as I told you the subway server was just 32 MB download but when you look at it at the system it's using 83 MB so the thing is that though Modern Combat 4 was just 1GB download it simply could not fit even with this 2GB uh free space that we have and the problem was that after one big game like this for example we have aspal 8 I was not able to install any other uh heavy games small games yes you you can install so storage is definitely a issue if you are a person who likes to carry a lot of games yes you might be able to carry one big game and a couple of small games but it'll be difficult to carry around two heavy games with this noal Lumia 525 and the sad thing is that with Windows Phone you cannot move the games and apps to the micro SD card so again a very decent phone for gaming at
