Thank You for Watching: The Morning Routine of a Glow-Up Enthusiast

As I settle into my morning routine, I'm reminded that my coffee should be a little chewy. "Can I help you?" I ask, but then I notice my crew members are too close to the camera and still have puppy morning breath. "Thank you," I say with a smile, acknowledging their presence despite their proximity. "You guys should not be that close to the camera." It's a gentle reminder for them to respect personal space.

Moving on from the morning breath, I reveal my glowy complexion, which is, of course, all about achieving my own version of perfection. "Yeah, your white is radian," I say with a chuckle, as if comparing our skin tones is the most normal thing in the world. We're always striving for that elusive glow-up. Today, I got all my work done after getting my haircut for the first week or two. It's amazing how much of a difference a fresh cut can make.

One of the things I'm proud of today is leaving the house without needing to wear a cap. "It kind of depends on how I slept on my head," I admit, but that's not stopping me from embracing my natural texture. After all, why fix what isn't broken? My home is equipped with mirrors galore, largely thanks to Diana's love for them. While I seldom take the time to admire myself in these reflections, I appreciate how they provide a sense of calm and order.

My Instagram post about my New Year's look has been getting plenty of comments and questions about the glitter eyeliner I used underneath my bottom lashes. "These two" refer to two beautiful eyeliners that Chris got me for Christmas – one is chunky glitter, while the other is finer glitter. I must say, how pigmented they are was a pleasant surprise.

Speaking of Chris, let's not forget about him. His racist comment caught me off guard, but I chose to overlook it in favor of his impressive open wide wow with the Rashan Imperial Stout. It seems that even bounty hunters have their moments of fun when no one is looking. This particular incident made me realize how much more enjoyable life can be when we let go of our insecurities.

After finishing my morning routine, I started working on segments for today's vlog. What happens when you get busy during the day? "Could have at least turned on one of the lights for me," I reflect upon, realizing that sometimes it takes a moment to appreciate our surroundings. My crew was kind enough to help put away the Christmas box in storage, which requires effort and patience.

As we worked, Chris mentioned how my style is perfect in any season. It's not just about being trendy; it's also about feeling confident in what you're wearing. When life gets busy, remembering that every day is a new opportunity is essential. The key to happiness seems to lie in accepting the ups and downs of life with an open heart.

The rest of my morning was filled with the soothing sounds of the washer and dryer as Diana did laundry again – it's become a regular occurrence around here. I don't blame her for doing so often; sometimes, you just need to keep up appearances. My clothes may not be new, but they've been with me through thick and thin.

Before I wrap up my morning routine, I take a moment to reflect on how much laughter has filled the room today. It's easy to get caught up in life's challenges when all we hear is our own thoughts. In that sense, having friends around who make us laugh can be incredibly uplifting.

got a lot of comments and people asking me what kind of uh glitter eyeliner I was wearing underneath my bottom lashes these two which are beautiful one is more of a chunky glitter and the other one's a finer glitter I was so surprised how pigmented these were and the one I'm wearing today which is uh like a navy blue is this one right here and I actually have the whole set right here that Chris got me for Christmas and I absolutely love them and these are all of them can't wait to try this green one and even this black one maybe has like a top uh eyeliner dusk is upon us and I've really only just begun to record segments for today's vlog what happens when you get busy during the course of a day could have at least turned on one of the lights for me you're here to remove the lights from me
