phone that was a lot of iads in one sentence there but I made this video where I showed you guys how to make your own smartphone and now I'm going to show you how to make your own camera from scratch so who wants to shoot so yeah guys this right here is a camera inside a box that you got to make for yourself if you want to check it out links down below I actually saw this at MoMA the Museum of Modern Art so you got you know your boy actually going outside the house to find weird stuff I got you all you got to do is subscribe it's that easy so drop a like drop a like if you guys have ever been to a museum before they're actually pretty lit so let's just go ahead and open it I have not seen what's inside this box I just know it has the contents we need to make a Kodak camera oh wow that is awesome oh that is 10 times easier all the instructions are on the box it comes with everything I might not not even need mat to help me build this one yes let's go I really Lov the I made a phone video it was a lot of fun once it was all built this seems 10 times easier so anyone can pick this up and know this thing's probably going to be built in like 5 minutes anyone could do this so what we what do we got here we got the front we got some voice cracks that's what we got so here's what we got we got the front cover what looks like all the internals batteries this is kind of trippy it actually takes batteries like what what are those I don't even know that's awesome we got some more stuff a cable cuz no one has those and then I think these are the lenses oh yeah those are definitely the lenses these look exactly like an iPhone lens like something that you could like screw onto a case and really step up your Instagram game I'm just teex smart if you guys aren't following me but jeez these things are so small and we get two this is a fisheye and then this one here is is the wide angle yo they hook it up with this kit I am so excited let's just start building step one read read the steps cuz you didn't read them right so the first thing that they're telling me to do is get the camera case so this is where your camera is going to be so this is like what you take your photos on like that's what a camera is good Ken so this is going to be the shell of the camera and it's saying open it up and then put like the hardware in it and then this is where you put your SD card slot and this is going to look so sick when it's done I'm so ready I'm ready I'm ready just kidding I am not ready step two now that I got these plastic screws from the plastic case away you're going to want to put like what seems to be the motherboard and all the hardware what honestly makes this camera take the photos so you just put it in just make sure the holes are lined up oh that that fits really nice and then you just just put the clear screws back in fasten it down W this is crazy easy if you've been following the series I think it's just getting easier and easier all right well I did it wrong you need to add batteries first before you screw it together of course Katon like how else is it going to work so back to step two I got to unscrew all of this so much work work so hard on this my mom is not proud she ain't proud of me anymore this is why you read instructions so all we need to do now is put batteries in I got two aa's here pretty nope that it says AAA on the box those how many A's do you see there not three okay I'm really struggling so before I go any further Matt Bro can you can you just help me figure this out Rescue all right let's see there's six steps and they legit draw out for it did you mess up the first three of three yes it said AAA batteries and I grab Double A's I want to put the lens on let me put the lens on we're going to let Kon do the one job he can't screw up which is put the lens onto the camera drop a like if you think he's going to screw up comment down below if you think he's going to screw up the last step and the camera's not going to without you I this would be this camera would be in six pieces still we' just be Tech dumb we'd be Tech dumb there we go so the last steps are to put the SD card in I'm letting him do this one come you're a big boy hey hey I did it and then we need to attach the lens so this just says wide on it you guys can see right there it says wide I think this is just like the standard lens it just Clips on there with magnets oh my gosh we legit made a camera okay so we got it all attached I got the lens on here Matt let me do the lens part there's actually this micro USB port on here not to charge it but if you want to get the photos off this camera you can this is why I have Matt here here so I'm looking at the camera now and you're probably saying to yourself dude like how do I see what kind of photos I want to take or how do I see what I've already taken well guys it's like a Kodak camera here you legit can't see what you're taking you have to look through this tiny screen here and what you see is what you get and you won't know until the photos are developed so we got it here I'm going to read the instructions and Matt's going to translate for you guys um the instructions are kind of weird they don't yeah the instructions are honestly kind of weird so turn on long press the shutter button for 3 seconds after 3 seconds the right LED will flash indicating the camera is ready to start taking pictures so I'm going to translate clicky clicky button turn on camera and you'll see the blue light turns on Next Step press the shutter button once and the left LED will light up after it goes out your picture has been taken all right you literally click the shutter button it takes a photo like cameras are work for the last 300 years and it took it did you hear that beep when you take a photo it makes like a tiny little beep so I'll see if you can hear this ready here's what it looks like from the back so when you click it you can see that extra blue LED saying hey you're about to take a photo it's pretty cool it's pretty cool like we don't even know what we look like this thing could look like trash for all we know I loved making this because Matt was here to help me hopefully the photos look good hopefully the photos look good so there's actually four modes on here and you can toggle these with like this switch on the back so n is color this one here that doesn't really say anything that's black and white so you can just like flip the switch S means warm and then b means cool so you can kind of adjust it on the go it honestly is the most hipster camera out there like these are coming back y'all you can just flip it ready bam just got a lit looking photo of matte I I think okay so me and Matt are about to do a photo shoot and
