It's Been a Long 20 Months Since the iPhone Last Held the Title of Fun Buff Style Speed Test Champ
But with the release of the iPhone 12 Pro, Apple is looking to finally change that. The new device is going head-to-head with the current champ, the Galaxy Note 20 Ultra, and we're about to see which one comes out on top.
Let's take a look at the spec sheet for the iPhone 12 Pro. It's packing the all-new five nanometer A14 Bionic chip, which is a significant upgrade over last year's model. Perhaps most importantly, it also comes with more RAM than its predecessor, at six gigabytes compared to four. This is a key factor in the performance of the device, as more RAM allows for smoother multitasking and faster app switching.
On the other hand, the Galaxy Note 20 Ultra has doubled that amount of RAM at twelve gigabytes, making it one of the most powerful smartphones on the market. It's also powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 865 Plus, which is another top-of-the-line processor. While both devices undoubtedly promise to be fast, only one can emerge victorious in this showdown.

Their Aries case protects your device in four different ways: it has an unbending polycarbonate shell, which provides excellent protection against drops and scratches; it has a clear back that lets you appreciate your phone's design; it has deeply raised bezels and corners to prevent water from seeping in; and it comes with a built-in screen protector to keep your display clean. You can find the Aries case on Amazon by searching for "iPhone 12 case" or "Iphone 12 mini case" or "Offensive Pro Max case," depending on which model you have.
Alright, let's get started. We'll kick things off by starting the stopwatches on each phone and then jumping into the first row where the two perform roughly the same in Facebook. However, here in Starbucks, the Note 20 is able to take the lead as it moves onto Microsoft Word with the iPhone just ripping through it, taking the lead right back as it moves on to Excel, adding onto that lead as it blazes through Excel and moves on to the second row. So a pretty significant lead for the iPhone already, but this thing is still far from over with the Note making up some ground in the camera app by taking that selfie at a faster rate, and from the looks of it, the Note is also editing this photo here in Snapseed faster as well, meaning the iPhone's early lead is mostly gone.
With the Note launching Adobe Rush almost instantly, it's able to fully make the comeback. However, it gets stomped in the actual video rendering part of the task with the A14 Bionic chip in the iPhone exporting that video clip faster than any smartphone we've ever seen before, allowing the iPhone to pull a flap ahead as it already moves on to the second game in the gaming row while the Note is just barely getting started with the first, and from the looks of it, the Note is doing so at a slower rate. So things aren't looking good for the champ, the Note has dug itself yet another hole in the speed test, and we don't know if it's going to be able to get itself out of this one with the iPhone showing no signs of slowing down as it pushes through Fit the Fat.
And then there's the second lap. Historically, iPhones haven't been able to keep all their apps open and ready to go at the same time. However, with six gigabytes of RAM on the iPhone 12 Pro, this may finally change. We'll see if the iPhone can keep up as it finishes the first app with an incredible time of one minute and forty-one seconds, while the Note has fallen a full four apps behind. A bit of good news for the Note is that it's loading these lightweight apps in the bottom row slightly faster. However, even so, it still takes fourteen seconds longer to finish the first lap, a gap that may not even matter if the iPhone can't keep all its apps open since the iPhone reloads apps so quickly.
But will this be enough? The answer is yes, as the iPhone 12 Pro goes on to complete the test with an impressive time of two minutes and twenty-four seconds. This is more than enough to leave the Note in the dust, proving that Apple's new device has truly outperformed its competition. And so, with a final time of two minutes and forty-one seconds, the iPhone 12 Pro emerges victorious as the winner and new Bumble Style Speed Test Champ.
In conclusion, this video was an exciting showdown between the iPhone 12 Pro and the Galaxy Note 20 Ultra. In the end, Apple's new device emerged victorious, thanks to its powerful A14 Bionic chip and generous six gigabytes of RAM. While the Note may have put up a good fight, it ultimately couldn't match the iPhone's speed and performance.
We'd like to thank Iblazon for sponsoring this video and providing us with their high-quality cases. Their protection is top-notch, and we highly recommend them for anyone looking to keep their phone safe and secure.
And that's all for now. Thanks for watching, and we'll see you in the next episode!
