A Pretty Car Light
The car's pretty lights were illuminated, causing a significant increase in its current ethanol content. The mixture was a combination of some X-85 and 60% ethanol from Connecticut. To see how it would affect the car's performance, an additional 5 gallons of X-85 were added to the fuel tank.
Back at the East Side Dyno
The car was taken back to the east side dyno, which was located just a couple of blocks away from Jimmy's shop. The dyno was equipped with people who filled up their cars with gas and watched as the readings climbed. The current ethanol content was around 69.5%, which was a significant improvement over the previous reading.
Baseline Reading
A baseline reading was taken to establish a reference point for the car's performance. A pizza order was placed, and the camera captured the footage as Jimmy prepared to conduct the test. The throttle body had been modified, and it became clear that this change had made a significant impact on the car's performance.
The Difference is Stunning
As Jimmy put the pedal to the metal, the difference in spool-down time was evident. The car's peak torque was reached earlier than expected, with the engine producing an additional 50 horsepower above its original reading. This gain was noticeable from around 3500 rpm and was a significant improvement over the previous reading.
Tuning and Refining
Jimmy had been experimenting with the duty cycle, and his efforts paid off as he was able to get the car's performance to improve even further. The map sensor's noise was filtered out by the ECU's master software, allowing the car to reach higher rpm without stalling. This refinement brought the reading up to 593 horsepower, which was still an impressive figure.

a half hour I'm gonna quickly check over the lines do a boost leak test make sure everything's all good there's no booze leaks all the bolts to the turbo we're tight which is good the only real issue I'd say it has right now is something that I can't really fix and doesn't really matter for the dyno I can fix it but I'm just gonna have to disassemble it to see what's going on but what was kind of sketch me out of the track if you guys remember me mentioning something about my throttle body so it's kind of getting stuck you're not gonna really be able to tell on camera but it want to ease off from full throttle it's kind of like sticky and I don't know why I tried lubricating stuff on the outside but I think I need to take it apart figure out what's going on inside to properly fix it but other than that she looks like she's in good shape my numbers that I'm shooting for considering last time it made someone like 590 wheel and 550 torque I think with how much boost was leaking out of that throttle body I think we're gonna see a torque number closer to 600 and I'm hoping to see a horsepower number closer to like 610 615 I don't know what its gonna make it might be close to that a little bit higher a little bit lower it shouldn't be lower it's definitely be higher this thing should rip I'm excited if you haven't seen any of the videos building the engine or anything I'll give you a very brief rundown on the setup it's a fully built RB 25 I can't remember whether it's nine to one or nine and to one compression but CP Pistons Brian Crall rods Tomei 256 pong cams Springs retainers Sochi revs high it's not like crazy board or stroked or anything I think it's just half over well I know it's half over where it gets interesting is the fact that this car is making this much power on such a small turbo and that's why we're gonna have such a crazy torque number because the thing spools so fast it's a garrett gen 230 71 and we're using a 6-3 AR which is really tiny and we should probably be moving up but it enables us to get that really really quick spool which is really advantageous for drifting although we are at a point though where you're gonna see on the dyno and on any logs if I pull them up that the turbo is choking out and it spools to about like 30 33 psi by 3,500 rpm which is absurd for an RV they're normally pretty lazy and then by 4000 that's when it peaks at like 32 psi and then it tapers off to like mid 20s for the rest until redline so we're definitely a little bit out of the efficiency range we're choking it but it runs great and feels great and I just want to basically see what numbers it's gonna make on the dyno and we'll have Jaime Marsh chair who's a very good tuner kind of looking over everything to make sure it's all safe and tweaking any adjustments as need be I'm excited though I love this car maybe you can see if we can make it do some flames on diesel that'd be fun hope you can't tell I'm pretty confident that it's gonna make over 600 wheel and that's why I've started using 600 wheel horsepower in my titles and thumbnails because I'm that confident and I knew that you know it might generate some sort of hate or anger towards me for misrepresenting numbers but I will show you when this car is on the dyno that it makes over 6 feel another reason why I'm confidence we made like 590 before when we are like 60% 85 so what I actually put properiy 85 minutes and get a closer to like 70 75 % without that throttle body leak like we should be chillin not chillin but like provement how so if you're wondering why my idols so high when the car is really cold it just like doesn't like to idle so I just set a high helps a little bit on grid because it keeps a fan moving a little bit more but more or less to when I turn the a/c on the idle drops and then like when I start from like a stop sign and have like load on the steering and stuff to it wants to stall so I just it's out spool I don't know Jimmy's car indication just of the difference that that throttle-body fix made look at how much sooner we had our peak torque right here before we were hitting the peak torque right around five grand now we shifted that all the way down to four and a half so about five hundred rpm sooner it definitely had some sort of weird hiccup going on here though the Jamie should be able to figure out and I think that we should be able to hit six hundred no problem but this is crazy the difference in spool down here this whole entire gain we have about an extra fifty horsepower from like 3500 onwards which is absurd I was on that curb oh my god looks a lot smoother yeah that's so see how we were saying that it's not gonna probably much more but it's gonna bring it yeah Wow so in the first poll Jimmy already got a cleaned up a bunch coming to that red line where it was that what are your biggest kids jr. weird turns to me Adam you're weird here's a big chicken nugget we're gonna talk um from chuck is literally in all the videos so Jamie has just been playing with the duty cycle a little bit and he was able to get it to hold a bit better at the high rpm good point where it's actually gained about 30 horsepower right before a red line that's a 599 there right there 9c co2 who took a gain power and torque in that a little like mid range right there snow glows six away the car had a little bit of a hiccup on the last one because I guess the map sensor has a little bit of noise a higher rpm so is able to apply it filter for the ECU master software and then that should be enough to let it not hang up and hopefully break 594 at best six under mark so fingers crossed think he's gonna break 600 room Tucker doesn't what are you doing to them gotta cover his ears oh you kids are so loud you
