The Starfield Constellation Edition Comes With A Smartwatch! But Is It Worth $300

**Unboxing the Starfield Constellation Edition Bundle: A Comprehensive Walkthrough**

In today's video, we’re taking an in-depth look at the Starfield Constellation Edition bundle, which was pre-ordered for the PC version. While the Xbox version is also available, the primary difference lies in the inclusion of a game for each platform, with the PC version offering additional bonus items.

### The Starfield Constellation Edition Bundle

The highlight of this bundle is undoubtedly the Chroma Mark watch, a replica from the game that doubles as a functional smartwatch. This watch isn’t fully featured like Apple’s or Google’s offerings but includes essential features such as Bluetooth connectivity for weather updates and basic functionality. Priced at $299, this bundle offers a premium experience, including in-game items like the laser cutter, deep mining helmet, and pack, as well as early access to the Shattered Space story expansion.

### Unboxing Experience

Upon opening the steelbook display case, we’re greeted with a metal credit stick—a collectible item that doubles as a keychain. Inside, the Chroma Mark watch is securely stored in a luxurious aluminum-and-metal case. The case features a unique twist latch mechanism, making it both elegant and functional for long-term storage.

The watch itself is crafted from a combination of aluminum and plastic, with a glass screen and four physical buttons for navigation. It comes with both a rubber strap and a NATO strap, offering versatility in styling. The watch’s design reflects the futuristic setting of *Starfield*, with gold accents and a sleek midsection that complements its premium build.

### Features and Functionality

The Chroma Mark watch connects to your phone via Bluetooth, providing essential features like weather updates, moon phases, and basic fitness tracking through built-in sensors. It also includes a torch (flashlight), music controls, and vibration feedback for notifications. While it lacks advanced smartwatch capabilities like calls or Wi-Fi connectivity, it’s a solid companion for gaming and日常使用.

The watch is currently in its early access phase, with firmware updates expected to enhance its functionality. Future updates may include compatibility with the *Starfield* game, potentially allowing for heads-up displays on the watch—a feature that would greatly enhance the gaming experience.

### Value and Conclusion

At $299, the Starfield Constellation Edition bundle is a significant investment, particularly if you’re not deeply invested in Bethesda’s games. However, for fans of *Starfield* and collectors seeking a unique blend of gaming memorabilia and functional tech, this bundle offers unparalleled value.

In conclusion, while the Chroma Mark watch may not rival top-tier smartwatches like the Apple Watch or Samsung Galaxy Watches, it delivers on its promise as a stylish and functional accessory that bridges the gap between gaming and real-world technology. Stay tuned for updates on potential firmware enhancements that could elevate its functionality further.

"WEBVTTKind: captionsLanguage: enforeign pack here again today we're going to be unboxing the Starfield constellation Edition bundle this was a pre-order I put my pre-order in a while ago this is the PC version they also offer an Xbox version and really the only difference here is you're gonna get a game for Xbox you'll get a game for PC with the PC version but what makes the constellation Edition bundle so interesting is it actually comes with a smart watch it's the same chroma Mark watch that you'll use in game and we do have Smartwatch features here as far as I can tell it's not fully featured like Apple's watch or uh Google's pixel watch or anything like that but we do have like Bluetooth built in we can connect to our phone get the weather and stuff like that this bundle also comes with a few in-game items like the laser cutter deep mining helmet deep mining pack you also get the Starfield base game the shattered Space story expansion when it's released up to five days early access the constellation skin pack uh steel book display case and a few other goodies year but yeah it's not coming in cheap this is actually 2.99 you can pre-order it from like Best Buy or bethesda's website the only pre-order I could get in was from Best Buy and really I wanted that watch now I'm not a huge watch guy I do have a pixel watch the brand new one I don't use it much but I could definitely see myself using this at least while I'm playing the game for a while but anyway I've been really excited about it let's go ahead and get in here and see what we have now again I do have the PC version here you can also opt to get the Xbox version of this if you want to but uh right off the bat we have the steelbook display case it's quite heavy and I think that's because we do have a metal credit stick in here now a credit stick is something that you use in game but on the back of this is the code for Steam kind of looks like a little key chain and I mean obviously it's pretty useless it's a nice little display piece but the main claim to fame is still inside of this box and this thing is pretty awesome it's the chroma Mark watch case the sides where the gold is is constructed of aluminum the midsection is plastic but the latch is also metal I think they did an absolutely bang-up job putting this thing together and it feels premium something I could definitely use after I get the watch out of it or you know I could just store the watch in here but the most satisfying thing about this case is the way you open it up it's got a Twist latch and once you twist this it's going to retract the metal bars then it unlocks the case and you can actually open it up it does feel really premium and once we get this opened up you can see we get that chroma Mark watch they also give us a NATO strap and a constellation patch pretty cool if you ask me and under here we get a little chroma Mark card obviously star field is set in the future and as you can see here chroma Mark was established in 2100 or 2100 pretty awesome and there's definitely a lot of lore to Starfield uh lots of websites have gone up kind of explaining everything we get the chroma Mark watch Charger looks like it's proprietary we've got those two Pogo pins there and of course we have the chroma Mark watch so this is basically a replica from the game you will receive one in game I'm not going to spoil anything but this is really awesome and uh we do have plastic and metal construction here it's got some heft to it and uh it does come with a rubber strap but they also send along a NATO strap in case you want to install it it's really up to you and I don't think this has a charge on it let me go ahead and put a charge on it so I can power it on so I've had a few minutes to mess around with it and this will connect to an app you can download for iOS or Android we've got those gold accents there and those are metals so all of the gold on here is constructed a metal the midsection is constructed to plastic it's a non-touch screen design but it does have a glass screen on it so that's pretty cool and there's four physical buttons so you can kind of control the watch there's an inscription on the rear and in order to connect this to your phone you will use Bluetooth there's no built-in Wi-Fi but to my surprise we do get firmware updates for the watch itself so in the future they could definitely push out more features for the watch but overall the way it is right now it's pretty cool it's not as smart as something like a Samsung watch a pixel watch an Apple Watch or whoever makes the best smartwatch right now but it's got everything I need obviously it's going to tell the time and we've got a few faces that we can choose from we can kind of cycle through them right here from the settings we can adjust the brightness time we can turn on Bluetooth we've also got a torch otherwise known as a flashlight in other parts of the world and basically it's just going to give us a white screen we can also control our music from our phone it doesn't have a built-in speaker but it does have a built-in vibration motor we've also got weather as long as you're connected to your phone moon phase is pretty cool it'll show us the moon phase at any given time so as long as this is updated and kind of set to your region it'll show you the phase of the moon you can check your notifications also so if you miss a call or something like that I don't think you can you know call somebody from the phone itself maybe in the future with firmware updates they can add something like that but right now it's non-existent and there's also a few sensors built into the watch so we've got these graphs here and the sensors are functional so we've got four of them here and we can go individually if we want to so first up we've got a barometer so it'll give us the barometric pressure wherever we are it's got a built-in accelerometer we also have a magnetometer and this is pretty cool it is functional so what this is going to do is just kind of detect magnetic fields so for instance if I grab this screwdriver here with a magnetized tip hold it near the unit you can see that it is detecting those magnetic fields and there's also a built-in temperature sensor so I think it's pretty cool and uh you know where it is that this may be able to connect to the game uh right now since it's kind of early access I don't think they have an app that would allow us to connect the game to an app and things like that and with firmware updates they could definitely push something out I personally think that would be pretty cool if we had like a heads up display on the watch itself for the game but in the end I mean was it worth 299 dollars uh really you know I don't think so but it's pretty cool and you know if you're into these Bethesda games then this is probably something you've been interested in but that's going to wrap it up for this video wanted to give you a quick look at this if we do receive any firmware updates that allow any new features I will post it in my community section and if you're in interested in picking up the constellation Edition I'll leave some links in the description but that's it for this one like always thanks for watching\n"
