Having a Lifestyle of Nutrition: Tips from Sarah Grace
Hey guys, it's Sarah Grace here welcome back to my channel I am bringing you another two-minute fit tip and today I want to talk about nutrition. I know it can be tough to stay on track and we all struggle at times with making it a lifestyle and that is the key.
So in order for this to become a lifestyle for you, it's really important that you have a few things on hand. One of them is always having a good protein. I really like Orgains organic protein and they have this new flavor peanut butter which is really good. You want to make sure that you keep a good protein powder on hand as a go-to, so maybe pre-workout post-workout or just as a quick snack.
Secondly, you want to have a cooler bag and something that you can put your food in when you're leaving for the day. I really like Six Pack Fitness they have some cool bags like this best of all they have these little containers inside where you can put your food in them. I like these a lot because you can portion them out and you have three meals in there, so make sure you have something to store your food in to take with you when you're going to work, when you're leaving for the day or when you're traveling.
Lastly, make sure that your meal prepping is on point. So, you know pick one day a week to go grocery shopping, that's what I do sometimes two days a week depending on how fresh I want my food and then cook in bulk. I always cook large amounts of food put it in Tupperware when I'm done and put it in the fridge so that I can just go to that grab it portion out what I want and take it with me for the day.
Honestly, guys, that is one of the best ways to stay on track is to have your food on hand. Don't wait until you're hungry, don't wait until you're out and about and you know you're gonna have to run into like a Panera Bread or something because you will not be able to stay on track that way. You've got to pick one day a week cook up your food then you have them on hand whenever you're hungry. That is the best way to stay on track, that is my advice because it has worked for me and I know it can work for you all of these products I get on Vitacost so if you want to check them out, I'll put the link below in the description of this video.
