the rear facing camera on this is a 8 map shooter with LED flash and this camera can also record video in full 1080p it also has a front-facing camera that's a 1.9 map and uh you can also do 3G calling with the same I did not test it with 3G calling but I did test it with Skype and the quality was decent and we're going to test the r facing camera performance and first let me show you the uh camera interface I actually also sh a lot of pictures and uh videos with this I'll show you that a bit later again you do get the basic functionality like tap to focus and let me bring a watch actually uh and if you notice how quickly it focuses and it can actually take the shots also pretty quickly The Flash is at Auto as I said but I did notice that this phone does not uh want to fire the flash a lot of time let's Force the flash now and this is with the flash when it was fired so let's have a look at the pictures this is with the flash when it was fired and again if you notice the details come out to be really good without the flash yes you will notice that the details are not there because it's in indoors right now we are taking very low lighting but overall outdoors also I would say the pictures that come out are very good and Samsung has added this new mode in this the one that we have seen in the Samsung Galaxy S4 and this way it is very easy to change the modes and this is really nice you get the sound and short best faced option and all these new and even we have the HDR mode uh so it's really good and I also tested with Panorama it works great and for low lighting we have the night mode and uh we can also directly just hit this button to go to the video mode and let me show you the Moree settings that we have you can click here and photo size uh it's 8 megap is the max but if you want to shoot it in white screen you have to go to 6 megap I did all my testing at the wide screen mode that's 6 megapixel and we have options like uh face detection and anti-shake I was set to on for my testing in the video mode as you can see it can record video up to full HD that's 1080p but video stabilization was not there and we can also drop it down to 720p or VGA resolution so required and this is one more thing and we have uh the standard options like GPS tagging uh white balance and exposure adjustments and now let me quickly just show you the sample shots that I've shot with this one let's just go to the gallery this is the gallery app and these are the shots that I took and actually let me just show you all these in full screen mode so that you can get a better idea regarding the camera performance of this Galaxy Mega 6.3 all these shots were shot with the rear facing camera of the Mega 6.3 and as you can see Outdoors the color reproduction and the sharpness is very good and the details also come out to be really good look at this picture how sharp it is so Outdoors the pictures are very sharp with this Mega 6.3 now some of the pictures are shot in semi-indoor conditions and here this is with flash and this one is without the Flash without the flash it's a little bit blurry and noise also Creeps in but I found that the flash was pretty powerful and it has a tendency to overexpose so you need to be careful while using the flash video with the Galaxy Mega 6.3 at the highest resolution possible that's 1080P and I'm going to be recording it in broad daylight and uh the audio that you're hearing is also being recorded by the internal microphone of this Mega and it's quite windy and let me just walk around a little bit and let me just ban a little bit and let me just go back now this is my roof Garden so this should give you an idea about the video recording capabilities with this Galaxy Mega 6.3 outdoors and now I'm recording it in my office and this is in completely artificial light let's see how well it focuses we do have that tap to focus functionality and let me bring this Mega Box itself around and as you can see the autofocusing is fairly quick I would say let me bring this Galaxy S4 nearby let's go near the camera so it does auto focus in video without any issues so this should give you an idea about the video recording capabilities of this Galaxy Mega 6.3 indoors and completely artificial light these static pictures were shot in completely artificial light in my office and for the most part they come out to be clean yes there is a little bit of noise again this is without the Flash and this one was shot with the flash even without the flash I would say the details come out to be pretty good look at the mesh of the uh what do you say microphone so what do I feel about the camera performance of this Galaxy Mega 6.3 I would say the 8 megapix camera is really good and it can take very sharp shots Outdoors so Outdoors you won't have any problems but again with most of these camera phones indoors yes there tends to be a little bit of noise and you have to be careful because as I said earlier the flash has a tendency not to fire so sometimes you have to manually uh Engage The Flash the videos also that I took with this are very sharp so overall I would say uh for a camera phone
