heard of Thailand honestly this is pretty similar but it had some functionality that I think makes it way more useful and as the name suggests you can stick this thing on to about anything that you might misplace or you just don't want to risk losing so whether that's your TV remote keys or your trusty unboxing knife you'll be able to track it down with the app and for those of you who aren't familiar with these trackers you can pretty much attach them to something use the app in your phone and it'll make the tracker ring so that it's easier to locate it if you misplace it and beyond that this thing has some other cool features like actually being able to replace the batteries using it to maybe find your misplaced phone you can even use it as a Bluetooth remote to take a picture I'm not sure how many of you will actually use that kind of feature but I'm not gonna be mad at them for adding features and of course you can even use the map in the app so that you can see the last location that you had it and this thing is honestly one of my personal favorite pieces of tech to use now I've got to check out this wise security camera let me just open up with the fact that this thing is 25 bucks and with just 25 bucks you're getting a lot of the functionality if you get from one of those way more expensive cameras it's a pretty compact camera that allows you to adjust its positioning and even mount it if you like unless you've got a setup it'll send you alerts when it detects motion and sound and all while pumping out HD quality and it does a surprisingly good job at detecting people that come into the frame now with this being so inexpensive you're not gonna get any cloud services but it does allow you to record anything that it detects onto an SD card so you can go back and look at your footage and it even has a two-way mic so if you want to speak to someone in the room or maybe scare off an intruder you're gonna be able to do that right from the app and of course you can use this thing to take photos and time lapses but honestly guys what's really impressive is the fact that this thing is only 25 bucks and it makes a pretty solid security camera or even a nanny cam now next up is something that I have in just about every setup that I make and it's these awesome Belkin surge protectors and while a surge protector isn't the flashiest thing to talk about US tech heads know how important it is to have really good power outlets I like these surge protectors because they have this swivel feature that allows you to use big plugs small plugs it doesn't matter you'll be able to lose them around and position them in the perfect waist of that you can actually use all of them I don't know how many times I've gotten my hands on a surge protector and had like this one really big plug that takes up like two spots and there's nothing you can do about it with these you move them around and you get a lot more flexibility and they've got all kinds of options depending on what you're looking for there's one that you can plug into a wall that gives you six outlets there's another that gives you eight which I really like and there's a big one that gives you like 12 listen guys I use all of these you'll find them behind my TVs behind my computers they are easily my favorite surge protectors it'll make your setups a lot easier to deal with and last but not least is one of the best tablet stands how I've ever personally used this is from subcase and it is just awesome how much flexibility this thing has so whether you're using something like a large tablet a Nintendo switch or even just a phone this thing is gonna be able to properly hold it up and what I love about this thing is that you can get really low with it you can adjust the angle make it perfect however you want to use it you'll be able to do that here I just love this thing for how portable it is I got under sink into my backpack and not having to take up a lot of space not to mention this thing has like a little cutout in the back so if you want to do some cable management you'll be able to do that with this I just like be a little attention to detail this thing that's just super sturdy very convenient so it's a must for me but hopefully you guys enjoyed this return of top 5 under let me know what the next budget tech you want to see is down below in the comments
Top 5 Awesome Tech Under $50!
"WEBVTTKind: captionsLanguage: enwhat's going on guys you travel consumer and we are finally bringing the series back and checking out five awesome pieces of tech under 50 bucks but Before we jump into the list we've got to give a huge shout out to today's sponsor set app setup is a really cool platform that gives you access to over 150 mac apps so if you're someone who likes to explore various apps and try things on your MacBook or iMac then this is something you might be interested in with a set up membership you'll be able to download any of the apps they offer and any of the ones coming in the future oh it's great is that it offers all of this without taking up a lot of space on your device and it's super easy to use you can either a search for a specific app browse all of their apps at once or look at their page of suggestions to find something new that was cool is that they've got popular apps like ISTAT menu and another one that I recently found that I'm actually enjoying is side notes and side notes is really cool because it allows you to have the sticky notes on the side of the screen if you want to do to-do lists or set reminders you got access to all of them right here and it's pretty well hidden so if you're interested in checking out that app I'll have a link in the description for a free 7-day trial for the full collection but let's get on to that top five so first up on our list is an interesting gaming controller for smartphones from flyed digi called the wass two elite now this is an interesting gaming controller because it's not like your typical two-handed smartphone controller this one's meant to be played with the touchscreen and what I like about this controller is that despite its looks it's actually really comfortable to use and has a nice selection of buttons you can map some of those physical buttons to the on-screen buttons so if there are certain actions that you think would be easier to pull off with a button or a trigger you'll be able to do that with this controller they also provide some customization options if you want to add an extra trigger in the back or maybe change up the joystick which is nice but I do have to warn you guys if you want to get the full use out of this controller you really got to take the time to customize it and configure each game that you play with it so that you get the optimal experience and just being able to do that it's not something you typically see on these gaming controllers for this controller's you basically take a screenshot of the game and you're able to map certain buttons to whatever part of the screen you want those buttons to activate so while I might take a little while to get it perfectly tuned for your play style is absolutely cool that you're able to custom in this way in the first place and next up we've got one of my favorite trackers to find missing things and that's the orbits pick on now most of us have heard of Thailand honestly this is pretty similar but it had some functionality that I think makes it way more useful and as the name suggests you can stick this thing on to about anything that you might misplace or you just don't want to risk losing so whether that's your TV remote keys or your trusty unboxing knife you'll be able to track it down with the app and for those of you who aren't familiar with these trackers you can pretty much attach them to something use the app in your phone and it'll make the tracker ring so that it's easier to locate it if you misplace it and beyond that this thing has some other cool features like actually being able to replace the batteries using it to maybe find your misplaced phone you can even use it as a Bluetooth remote to take a picture I'm not sure how many of you will actually use that kind of feature but I'm not gonna be mad at them for adding features and of course you can even use the map in the app so that you can see the last location that you had it and this thing is honestly one of my personal favorite pieces of text to use now I've got to check out this wise security camera let me just open up with the fact that this thing is 25 bucks and with just 25 bucks you're getting a lot of the functionality if you get from one of those way more expensive cameras it's a pretty compact camera that allows you to adjust its positioning and even mount it if you like unless you've got a setup it'll send you alerts when it detects motion and sound and all while pumping out HD quality and it does a surprisingly good job at detecting people that come into the frame now with this being so inexpensive you're not gonna get any cloud services but it does allow you to record anything that it detects onto an SD card so you can go back and look at your footage and it even has a two-way mic so if you want to speak to someone in the room or maybe scare off an intruder you're gonna be able to do that right from the app and of course you can use this thing to take photos and time lapses but honestly guys what's really impressive is the fact that this thing is only 25 bucks and it makes a pretty solid security camera or even a nanny cam now next up is something that I have in just about every setup that I make and it's these awesome Belkin surge protectors and while a surge protector isn't the flashiest thing to talk about US tech heads know how important it is to have really good power outlets I like these surge protectors because they have this swivel feature that allows you to use big plugs small plugs it doesn't matter you'll be able to lose them around and position them in the perfect waist of that you can actually use all of them I don't know how many times I've gotten my hands on a surge protector and had like this one really big plug that takes up like two spots and there's nothing you can do about it with these you move them around and you get a lot more flexibility and they've got all kinds of options depending on what you're looking for there's one that you can plug into a wall that gives you six outlets there's another that gives you eight which I really like and there's a big one that gives you like 12 listen guys I use all of these you'll find them behind my TVs behind my computers they are easily my favorite surge protectors it'll make your setups a lot easier to deal with and last but not least is one of the best tablet stands how I've ever personally used this is from subcase and it is just awesome how much flexibility this thing has so whether you're using something like a large tablet a Nintendo switch or even just a phone this thing is gonna be able to properly hold it up and what I love about this thing is that you can get really low with it you can adjust the angle make it perfect however you want to use it you'll be able to do that here I just love this thing for how portable it is I got under sink into my backpack and not having to take up a lot of space not to mention this thing has like a little cutout in the back so if you want to do some cable management you'll be able to do that with this I just like be a little attention to detail this thing that's just super sturdy very convenient so it's a must for me but hopefully you guys enjoyed this return of top 5 under let me know what the next budget you want to see is down below in the comments and I'm gonna catch you guys in the next one till then it's your average consumer pacewhat's going on guys you travel consumer and we are finally bringing the series back and checking out five awesome pieces of tech under 50
