It's been like exactly a week since BookCon ended, which is crazy because I feel like it was yesterday but I also feel like it was two years ago. But I just kind of wanted to say a little bit at the end of this video because I didn't really get to talk too much about the experience itself you guys kind of saw it but I didn't really get to share my thoughts or feelings on it especially because in the moment I'm always so distracted and caught up with what's going on. I don't really get to process everything and I don't get to like actually convey everything that I'm feeling because I'm kind of trying to just be there and be present.

This year was just so fantastic overall every year I have a really great time at this event and every year has its ups and downs and this one did as well too. This year in particular was really good for me I think because I experienced it differently than I have ever experienced it in the past. This year I think was particularly special for me because I felt like I was able to be more present than I have ever been able to be at these events in part because I've had like two years of experience going to the event but also because I'm in a much better place so I was actually kind of anxious going into the event because I haven't been in the best place recently. But I've also developed enough skills and you know been through so much in the past year that I think about my experience BookCon last year which was absolutely incredible as well but quite honestly I have very little memory of that year besides my vlog.

Because I was just not able to fully be there and this year I felt like I was able to fully be there and that was wonderful and it meant a lot to me and it just meant a lot that I was able to listen to the people around me and be engaged with the people around me with my friends with you guys so that made me really happy. And I'm just grateful that I got to have that experience this year. This vlog is already long enough as it is so I'm not gonna spend too much more time talking here but I do just want to say thank you so much to all of you who attended the event to all of you that I got to meet for everyone who came up and asked for a picture or asked for a hug gave me a hug. Thank you for asking I always love hugs so it means a lot to me.

Just all of your kind words thank you so so much you made this year so unbelievably special I think I talked about this the first time I went to BookCon but like to this day I still can't fathom the fact that people actually watch my videos sometimes it's weird when you meet someone that you watch online because it's kind of weird to see them and realize that they're real but like that's how I feel about you guys like seeing you in person hearing your kind words hearing how much my videos have meant to you or anything that you have to say to me like it reminds me that you're real and that what I'm doing is real and it means the absolute world to me.

So I cannot thank you all enough for how supportive and how wonderful you all were and how much I just love you. Like that's all I can say I love you all so much and you made this year unbelievable and completely unforgettable. It been a week since BookCon ended but I'm still trying to like process all of it because it was such an overwhelming year in the best way possible.

I got to spend so much time with my friends I got to make I feel like a lot of new friends and got closer to some people and that's my other favorite thing about this trip. It's getting to meet so many new people and also just spend time with my friends that I only get to see once a year so this trip is always really really special to me because of that.

that's what we're doing for a couple days today is Monday the 27th of May Book Expo doesn't start until Wednesday so we have today and tomorrow mostly tomorrow but tonight we are going to go to Times Square and then we're gonna go and get Korean food and I'm really excited we're going to Times Square mostly because Zoey and I desperately want to go to the bTW 21 store or the line Friends store where they sell the BTS merch because this is what our lives have come to at this point I don't think about anything else or do anything else like she's constantly crying I am constantly crying about pts and Haley hates us and I feel really bad honestly because I know I genuinely feel bad because I feel like I just don't talk about anything else but like I haven't even mentioned in a video that much that like I'm obsessed with pts so hello I'm obsessed with pts at this point if you don't follow me on Twitter I won't stop tweeting about it now and we're also gonna go to Times Square so she then we went to the you know we didn't go out through the desert when it went to Central Park we saw some of the monuments there Central Park was so pretty it was and then just like dinner man hung out yeah it was joke but like we still did a lot yeah yeah good I'm excited for tomorrow we're gonna wake up really early because we want 9th house like that's the only arc I'm here for and I'm only going after that so we're gonna get up really early tomorrow so today we're just going to or tonight I guess for the rest of the night we're gonna iron clothes watch dry Gray's eat chocolate covered pretzels um and take care of our skin but yeah so at the end of day two of our fun trip we still have like more stuff we want to do in the city and tomorrow I almost forgot I'm just so excited for historical fiction about the Spanish Civil War live has read it she said that it wasn't her favorite but it's a page book but it is still good so I'm excited I haven't read anything by her but I did just recently haul salt to the sea yeah so I'm excited to read that but I'm excited for this one as well and then we only want like one other book really today so it's been pretty chill I'll be really and today's the first like truly sunny day so it's a good day to go so we're gonna go get breakfast and then go to top of the rock and then go to the Convention Center later today I'll show you our an unscheduled ticket you have to go there and then they'll give you a time ticket which could be for later in the day or even the next day and they were sold out until 9:00 p.m. so we can't go today and Haley is obsessed and she wanted me to see it so we started watching it and I've only seen like one in Jerome and I haven't like really seen anything so I don't really have know some drag queens names now not really we had a really really good day today today was really fun we went to the MoMA at first I didn't vlog in there because like I don't like vlogging in public I'm uncomfortable but they did yeah and I just I really really love museums so like when I'm there like I don't want to do anything but like be there but we went to the MoMA and then we went to the steps of the Met and then we went to the you know we didn't go out through the desert when it went to Central Park we saw some of the monuments there Central Park was so pretty it was and then just like dinner man hung out yeah it was joke but like we still did a lot yeah yeah good I'm excited for tomorrow we're gonna wake up really early because we want 9th house like that's the only arc I'm here for and I'm only going after that so we're gonna get up really early tomorrow so today we're just going to or tonight I guess for the rest of the night we're gonna iron clothes watch dry Gray's eat chocolate covered pretzels um and take care of our skin but yeah so at the end of day two of our fun trip we still have like more stuff we want to do in the city and tomorrow I almost forgot I'm just so excited for that tomorrow it's the end of day 2 so we'll see you tomorrow for the first official day of Book Expo yeah ok well cut through that now goodbye good morning everybody it is officially the very first day of Book Expo today it's super early in the morning because we have to get there because we want to get arcs of 9th house by Leigh bardugo and everyone's lining up really early so we're just going really early as well but we all just got dressed so I'll show you our outfits in a minute then we're gonna head out we're gonna see everybody else so I'll see you guys at the Convention Center after I show you guys while we're wearing actually I'll show you what wearing at the convention center because I'm not wearing my shoes yet and we gotta leave so like I'll see you there hello everyone I have not updated you since we got here but we have been here for an hour basically we all lined up super super early to get arcs of or tickets for the arch drop of 9,000 I leave our to go and then there was a giant mob and pretty much nobody got a ticket I gotta take it because him and Liv got me one because they are the greatest people ever um so I have to come back at 3:00 and get my March so I'm really excited about that and so grateful because look at this incredible human polo you have right here right now we are Hudson Yards it's you get some lunch oh the other Ark I got I've only gotten one other things so far it's already 12 o'clock or at one o'clock Michael got me Serpent and of so I have that and now we all have serpent in doves that's Halley I love the surface um but right now like I said we're heading out to get lunch and we're just waiting for a couple of people and then you're gonna get food take some pictures I don't know if there's anything else we want today but we're gonna figure it out so yeah hello we are waiting in line right now for the Leigh bardugo signing I don't want this my ticket the Leigh bardugo signing and I'm Haley and spirit and so exactly don't have tickets but they're waiting with me because we already read it to you so everyone's hope we didn't area audiobooks anyway I'm just narrated to you better several times hello guess what I just got are going to Phantom of the Opera tonight so we had to go leave the convention center get some dinner and then head out to the show which we're about to head out to now I don't remember what I was gonna say Haley's the best subscribe the convention was a lot of just a lot about it later probably when we came back but the highlight of my day so why are Tweedledee and Tweedledum just like contrary asides phantom which I think will actually be the highlight of my day because phantom is my absolute life the highlight of my day so far has been this and the fact that literally everybody took a picture with it because I wanna see only one of us oh god I am flexing on all of you but we're about to head out to phantom now and I'll probably update you like a little bit when we get there it is now day two a book on I mean Book Expo I'm tired I never updated you guys after Phantom of the Opera last night but it was wonderful and I cried a lot but we are getting ready now to leave for the expo hall everyone's taking pictures early this morning I forgot to show you our outfits yesterday but I'll show you the ones that were wearing today later while we're taking pictures but I'll update you guys when we get to the expo hall so I'll be single for right I'm sad because we didn't get Starla CR I'm sorry I'm actually really devastated about that that was really what I wanted and here we have dinner my fake cellphone earrings in my 70s ish why twirl for us on the runway we are at Book Expo and it is picture day and we came late so we missed the group picture lol but we took a bunch of other pictures so it's all good these colors your colors our style guide I don't think you've ever been on my blog before oh then I'm cam nice to meet y'all y'all meeting me yes right here yes I'm gonna be I love everyone hello everybody so we got the Fountains of silence which was like one of the only things we all wanted today if the new route of sub Petty's book all I know is that a historical fiction about the Spanish Civil War live has read it she said that it wasn't her favorite but it's a page book but it is still good so I'm excited I haven't read anything by her but I did just recently haul salt to the sea yeah so I'm excited to read that but I'm excited for this one as well and then we only want like one other book really today so it's been pretty chill I'll be really good to take pictures and waited for this Marco but I'll update you guys if we get anything else right now though we are currently eating food so we came down here like a little bit earlier because then we don't have to wait in the long line and we can get books while everyone else is getting this is Haley with the man filter on snapchat and it's my new favorite thing she looks like hello everyone good morning it is day 3 of Book Expo I didn't really update you too much later in the day yesterday because we didn't really do much of anything else we just kind of came back to the hotel room and rested because we were really tired and today we decided to not go to the convention center like super early because there's nothing that we really want too much we already kind of got everything that we wanted that they had or didn't get them yeah and then we decided we want to go to top of the rock this morning because we got tickets for that and we still haven't been able to go and today's the first like truly sunny day so it's a good day to go so we're gonna go get breakfast and then go to top of the rock and then go to the Convention Center later today I'll show you our outfits later we're all ready we're all ready to go so we'll see you guys later hello everybody so a bit of an update we didn't end up going to top of the rock because we got unscheduled tickets we didn't realize because we're all found actually we didn't realize because we didn't read what was on the ticket I wish I knew huh I know we didn't read what was listed on the ticket where if you get an unscheduled ticket you have to go there and then they'll give you a time ticket which could be for later in the day or even the next day and they were sold out until 9:00 p.m. so we can't go today don't goof yeah big huh so we're not doing that we ended up coming to convention we just took some pictures and now we're gonna take some more but I want to show you guys our outfit for the day so we're so cute so mad she this one was not intentional hear his talk that my sister let me borrow his comic book print all over it very low-cut skirt with feathers on it and just like if I'm freezing look at it I caught it I like my outfit I feel really sick I also have what an icon hello everybody it's a lot later I haven't updated you at all outfit change so much has happened we fight right now from book Expo and book on I'm currently editing my vlog and I realized that I never filmed an outro clip for the video because I got super distracted on Sunday afterwards I'm just hanging out with people and meeting you guys and saying goodbye to everybody and then on Monday when I was heading back it was literally just an airport day and I can't film in the airport so I just didn't get to update you guys again but I'm back home now I've been home for like a week it's been like exactly a week since bookcon ended which is crazy because I feel like it was yesterday but I also feel like it was two years ago but I just kind of wanted to just say a little bit at the end of this video because I didn't really get to talk too much about the experience itself you guys kind of saw it but I didn't really get to share my thoughts or feelings on it especially because in the moment I'm always so distracted and caught up with what's going on I don't really get to process everything and I don't get to like actually convey everything that I'm feeling because I'm kind of trying to just be there and be present this year was just so fantastic overall every year I have a really great time at this event and every year has its ups and downs and this one did as well too this year in particular was really good for me I think because I experienced it differently than I have ever experienced it in the past this year I think was particularly special for me because I felt like I was able to be more present than I have ever been able to be at these events in part because I've had like two years of experience of going to the event but also because I'm in a much better place so I was actually kind of anxious going into the event because I haven't been in the best place recently but I've also developed enough skills and you know been through so much in the past year that I think about my experience booked on last year which was absolutely incredible as well but quite honestly I have very little memory of that year besides my vlog because I was just not able to fully be there and this year I felt like I was able to fully be there and that was wonderful and it meant a lot to me and it just meant a lot that I was able to listen to the people around me and be engaged with the people around me with my friends with you guys so that made me really happy and I'm just grateful that I got to have that experience this year this vlog is already long enough as it is so I'm not gonna spend too much more time talking here but I do just want to say thank you so much to all of you who attended the event to all of you that I got to meet for everyone who came up and asked for a picture or asked for a hug gave me a hug thank you for asking I always love hugs so it means a lot to me just all of your kind words thank you so so much you made this year so unbelievably special I think I talked about this the first time I went to book con but like to this day I still can't fathom the fact that people actually watch my videos sometimes it's weird when you meet someone that you watch online because it's kind of weird to see them and realize that they're real but like that's how I feel about you guys like seeing you in person hearing your kind words hearing how much my videos have meant to you or anything that you have to say to me like it reminds me that you're real and that what I'm doing is real and it means the absolute world to me so I cannot thank you all enough for how supportive and how wonderful you all were and how much I just love you like that's all I can say I love you all so much and you made this year unbelievable and completely unforgettable it been a week since book kind of ended but I'm still trying to like process all of it because it was such an overwhelming year in the best way possible I got to spend so much time with my friends I got to make I feel like a lot of new friends and got closer to some people and that's my other favorite thing about this trip it's getting to meet so many new people and also just spend time with my friends that I only get to see once a year so this trip is always really really special to me because of that so thank you to all the friends for being my friend and for just spending time with me and always being the kindest and most generous people I love you all but yeah I think that's where I'm gonna wrap
