Motorola Razr Unboxing & Overview

**First Look: Motorola RAZR Unboxing and Review**

The Motorola RAZR is a foldable smartphone that has been making waves in the tech world, and I had the opportunity to get my hands on one. In this article, we'll take a closer look at the device, its features, and our first impressions.

**Unboxing Experience**

When I opened the box, I was greeted by a sleek and compact design that hinted at the phone's premium feel. The phone comes in a black color scheme, which looks stunning on the camera. As I carefully lifted the phone out of the box, I noticed that it had a slight weight to it, which is expected from a high-end device like this. The phone feels substantial in the hand, and I was impressed by how smoothly it opened up.

I must say that the opening mechanism is quite smooth, with no jarring or harsh sounds when you open the phone. However, upon closer inspection, I noticed some friction when closing it back down, which is something to be aware of. The hinge is designed to minimize gaps when closed, which is a nice touch.

**Design and Build Quality**

The Motorola RAZR has a unique design that sets it apart from other foldable smartphones on the market. The phone's plastic OLED screen is where things get interesting, as it offers a high level of usability. However, as with any foldable device, there are some limitations to be aware of.

**Specs**

When it comes to specs, the Motorola RAZR packs a punch. It's powered by the Snapdragon 7-series SOC (specifically, the Snapdragon 765G) and has a 6.2-inch plastic OLED screen. The phone comes with 6GB of RAM and 128GB of storage, which should be enough for most users.

**Camera Capabilities**

The main camera on the Motorola RAZR is a 16-megapixel sensor, while the front-facing camera is a 5-megapixel sensor. While the camera capabilities may not be as impressive as some other flagships on the market, they're still decent and offer features like tap-to-focus and various modes.

**Moto Gestures**

One of the standout features of the Motorola RAZR is its integration with Moto gestures. With double shakes, you can switch between different modes, including a flashlight mode. Double twisting the phone opens up the camera app, which is convenient for taking shots on the go.

**Sample Photos**

I took some sample photos using the Motorola RAZR to get a better idea of how it performs in different lighting conditions. While the device does a decent job in artificial lighting, there are some limitations when it comes to capturing human subjects. However, the camera is still capable of taking great shots in certain situations.

**Pricing**

The Motorola RAZR is priced at $1,500 plus tax in the US, which puts it firmly in the premium territory. When converted to Indian rupees, that's a whopping ₹120,000 or more, depending on the exchange rate. This price tag may be out of reach for many users, but if you're looking for a high-end foldable smartphone, this might be worth considering.

**Conclusion**

In conclusion, the Motorola RAZR is a solid device that offers a unique design and premium feel. While it may not blow you away with its specs or camera capabilities, it's still a great option for those looking for a high-end foldable smartphone. As with any new technology, there are some trade-offs to be aware of, but overall, this phone is worth considering.

"WEBVTTKind: captionsLanguage: enhi there this is Ranjit and in this video let's do the unboxing and have a first look at this Motorola RAZR the first flip phone so this is how it comes in the box guys and guys this unit has been already been opened actually motorola officials are sitting outside I just got a briefing of this one and I'll just do the unboxing and I love to give back this device to them so you could show you that and also talk about it because as you know I have been actually using the galaxy fold for some time so let's see this one and comes in this interesting box like this and you have to open it like this and as of now I don't know the indian pricing as the motorola officials they said that they don't have the indian pricing yet and it's going to be sir launch sometime in india are on the March timeframe but in the US again it's a foldable device so it's pretty expensive $1500 so this is how it comes and this is a cover and you just take this out and it says not to put any screen guards or anything on this one so that I'll just put to the side and if you look at it yeah this is actually they say it's a echo chamber you can put this and it amplifies the sound and here are the accessories that you get so as you can see very neatly packaged that you're gaining and you open this up and you get your booklet and all those things you also get good quality earphones that have that razer branding over here and we have that braided cable and this is supposed to be then on so again I'm hoping that the quality will be good and apart from that you get the USB cable on this one again braided and your power adapter this is actually a Motorola 18 what fast charger that you are getting in the box and we also have some other adapters here because it doesn't have the 3.5 mm headphone jack you're getting this adapter also so that's what we get in the box let me keep this to the side for now and this is much looks actually pretty fancy I would say so let's just put this back and here is the device itself obviously it will be folded like this it has the fingerprints and we also have a display over here this is the 2.7 inch OLED display and you can unlock the device from here also swipe up to unlock as you can see and you can interact with this one and we also have this camera here actually open it's the rear facing cameras 16 megapixel that we have we have a fingerprint scanner over here and the chin and as it's a for local phone you open it up and here you have the screen and this is again a plastic coated screen that we are getting guys and this is actually a 6.2 and pijo let's clean that you are getting it's a HD plus a resolution that you are getting on this one as you can see initial impressions I would say if you open this up yes it does make slight noise but the Motorola guys say that is sort of normal but it it's very smooth to open it don't have that jarring the effect or anything so opens very smoothly I would say for example I have my fault your this slight friction to it when I open it up and close it yeah the hinge is a little bit different very smooth to open but yeah this is what we have and this is the hinge that you have and the thing is that if we close it up you don't have any gaps here so that's actually nice and this is your fingerprint scanner over here that you are having and this is the flip and again if you have used the razor phone earlier they also have this retro thing if you go over here whereas this retro thing they had something over here called retro laser and if you click on this oops I don't want pressed on it if you click on it it loads the old-style razor phone as you can see booting it says and now you can use it for example like the old razor it is functional so nice sort of a skin that you have and if you just press this power alright back for some time it goes back to the normal one so again we have that thing and build quality looks nice but guys the thing is that again this is a foldable smartphone so you have to be careful with this one because this is again a plastic OLED so again you have to be careful about this Motorola says that this is having p2 coating so it is sort of a splash resistant so that's interesting but again I would say be careful with these phones if you have are getting it and I like the fact that you have this screen that's a lot more usable but again if we talk about the specs or this one let me just talk about the specs it's having a Snapdragon 17 SOC and a 6.2 inch this plastic wallet HT plus screen it has six gigabytes of RAM and it comes with 128 gigabytes of storage and camera if we talk about this one the main camera is a 16 megapixel and the front-facing here what we have is actually a 5 megapixel on this one so that is something you have to note now as it's a Motorola phone we also have the Moto gestures with this for example if you just double shake like this you have the flashlight on I'll just do that and it switches off another Motorola gesture if you have used any Motorola phone if you double twist it camera opens it and as you can see now the front-facing camera has opened like this and if you go can open this back now it switches to the main camera also like this and let me do one thing guys let me actually now take some sample shots with this one so that I can give you a better idea so this is the camera interface that you have you have tap to focus and stuff and you can take regular shots and all those things and if you go over here you have various modes like portrayed and all those things so let me do one thing let me actually take some sample shots so that you have a better idea about the camera so these are some of the samples taken with the Motorola RAZR and as you can see it does a decent job in artificial lighting conditions but when it comes to human subjects as you can see these samples were also taking an artificial lighting it does okay job but the sharpness was not there and this was the various different mode so I felt it could have done better transferring the price part of the device so this is the flipper and again if we don't know the pricing but in the US it's $1,500 plus tax so again it'll be expensive in India if you even do the conversion it will be over a lakh or something like that so I don't know what will be the pricing will know that only in March so again I would say a pretty nice device yes they went with the snapdragon 17 SOC i would say for the price they should have gone with the 855 but this is what we have but in terms of what do you say the feel that it gives to me I would say it gives that premium feeling but again is it for you or not at that price point is the big question there's not we also have this and your Samsung Z flip that is also going to come out so anyways guys that's it for now for this first look you could say unboxing this moto e is a guys I won't be able to put out a full review of this one because this unit is going back to Motorola for now but still if you have any specific questions about this device to let me know in the comment section below and if I know that I'll try to answer them anyways guys that's it for now thanks for watching this is Ranjith and I hope to see you with my next video take care guyshi there this is Ranjit and in this video let's do the unboxing and have a first look
