Getting Hungry: A Delicious Guide to Beer Sausage Peppers and Onions on the Grill

We're going to do up some beer sausage peppers and onions on the grill, man getting hungry or what all right it's easy to do just pick up some of your favorite sausage these are Italian style sausage some green bell peppers and Italian peppers got a big old onion there and uh you want some olive oil some of your favorite beer and if you're making a sandwich you want to pick up some of your favorite s here I've got some spices you may not need them all right we'll get the pan hot on the grill in the meantime we're going to cut up some of these uh bell peppers here now I don't really need to be showing you how to do this but I got a little time all right get that pan over the hot coals I'm going to throw in some olive oil

The first thing we want to do here is quickly sear each side of those sausages. This helps lock in the flavor and the juices. Add a little bit more olive oil, man smelling good already. Now this is only going to take a couple minutes on each side. All right now we'll move them out of the black pan here and we're going to use indirect cooking on the grill. We'll place some opposite the hot coals so we can finish cooking these sausages. It's only going to take about 15 minutes or so.

All right, those sausage are just about done. So what do we want to do now is take that same black iron pan here and we're going to put in them green bell peppers Italian peppers and then we'll put in some of that onion. Now if you've never had sausage peppers and onions you're missing something out of your life definitely want to check this out. Add a little bit more olive oil cuz this is only going to take a few minutes we don't really want to cook these veggies too long here. You just basically want to steam them up a little bit with your beer now you can use a little water if you want it helps steam but this is all about making some great beer sausages here.

About another couple minutes has gone by and now we're going to move these sausages back to the black iron pan with all those bell peppers and onions in man you smell that. This smells good. Add a little bit more beer here so we're searing and steaming at the same time. All right, me uh slice soap in a couple of these rolls here cuz we're going to make some beer sausage pepper and onion sandwiches getting hungry all right about another uh 10 minutes has gone by you don't want to cook those veggies down much more than that. You want to keep them nice and crisp man I'm getting hungry it's almost like we're Legion now.
