The Riyadh Car Show: A Global Gathering of Automotive Art

As I stepped onto the grounds of the Riyadh car show, I was immediately struck by the sheer scale and diversity of the exhibition. It's clear that this is a global event, with cars from around the world on display. The establishment that takes to the Ferraris - Ferrari race cars, tens of them - are unmistakable in their presence. I wandered through the crowds, taking in the sights and sounds of the various cars on show. The Ferrari 250 LM caught my eye, its sleek design a testament to the ingenuity of the automotive world.

I also had the chance to explore some of the other German car manufacturers present at the event. Their offerings were numerous and impressive, with models that I couldn't help but recognize as part of their respective lines. The BMW M series was on full display, with several cars showcasing the manufacturer's commitment to performance and style. Next to the BMWs was the Mercedes-AMG Petronas f-104 T, an F1 car that seemed almost too good to be true. Nearby, I spotted a Ferrari 275 GTB, its sleek lines and powerful engine making it a standout among the other cars on display.

One of the most impressive displays at the event came courtesy of Pagani. The company's creations are always highly sought after by collectors, and their stand did not disappoint. The Zonda HP barchetta was on show, its unique design and handcrafted attention to detail making it a true work of art. I also had the chance to admire the company's final zondas, each one a testament to Horacio Pagani's commitment to excellence.

As I made my way through the crowds, I noticed that Bugatti was also represented at the event. The manufacturer's cars are always highly anticipated, and this year was no exception. The Vermeil, Costantini, Ettore Bugatti, Rembrandt Bugatti, and Jean Bugatti were all on display, each one showcasing the company's mastery of design and engineering. I also had the chance to admire a stunning V12 Vantage Cigars, with only 65 examples produced in total.

Further along, I spotted some of the most exclusive cars in the world on show. The Lamborghini Huracan Performante was showcased alongside its more traditional counterparts, while the Pagani Huayra BC was on display as part of a special collection. I also had the chance to admire a stunning Koenigsegg ESCo, one of only 25 examples produced worldwide.

craziest lineup of cars that I have ever seen as a cruise on the hypercar world we have to Apollo II's we have the Koenigsegg nesco and how I think in total about 10 Bugattis we have more cleric sex Picard YZ laferrari SP ones 918 at 40 f50 Enzo just about everything you can think of some of the rarest one offs they are all here so let's go for a quick tour around them to take in this amazing line up here at the Riyadh car show I am genuinely stunned by the lineup that we have here I don't really know where to point the camera first as we've got the old Bentley coming on through we've got the p1 the Reventon have brought it down we've got a Gumpert Apollo and a Ferrari player on another p1 over there we've got a 300 SL we've got the bugatti chiron SLS Black Series Pagani Huayra we've just got the very best from the entire world Gambale Mirage GT to the Martin v12 Vantage cigar so this lineup continues on and on and as you can hear in the background there are also different activities direct cars and things blasting around I'm just walking through the home to give you a quick overview of all of this the 918 Spyder another p1 just here we've got rare cars like the Zagato 599 we've got their tail design at zero uno this is just heaven if you like rare and exclusive cars Mansoori bugatti veyron I mean I don't GT a taxi over here Zonda Zonda Riviera where where does one point the camera where does one start and we haven't even gone inside or to where the clinic zags and to where the apollo IES are i think i'm gonna try and walk through gibt I mean I'm genuinely losing my words right now we've got a center just tucked in there's quite a nice dual blue of that car the red SLS Black Series look stunning but let's come up I guess past the line we've got the show on sport so I saw hundred and ten gears the Gotcha Veyron Grand Sport the Mercedes 300sl Gullwing we've got the Mercedes McLaren SLR roadster we've got the Bugatti Veyron Super Sport wre originally only five of those the distinct livery on this car the exposed carbon throughout the world record edition named because of course it set the record back then then we've got all of the carbon full bodies on the McLaren p1 look at this look at the policy tint that it's got to it that's lip iridescent pearl and then also even finished around the wheel this car is a spawning thing but a Frankish we've got a Murcielago SV we've got the rat feed a lineup with the Bentley Gran limousines I don't think I've ever seen one of those and then we've got four in a row wow this is it just continues and continues past the old timer to come up towards a very nice white laughs arari this lineup is truly truly mind-boggling then we've got the satin black Gumpert Apollo you rarely see an apollo at all Gumpert over here forgot the Ferrari f12berlinetta there we've got the Lamborghini Reventon coupe a one of only 20 Reventon coupage they made another McLaren p1 to be honest it just goes on and on and on what do we have then where where do we go forgotten Enquirer the center 2.7 RS for GT another mercy sv it's literally a case of I can pick out certain cars but I can't talk about everything as much as I would love to right now Lexus LFA Continental GT 3r this thing's insane though the Gambale Mirage GT I think they were going to do 25 in total of course based on the Porsche Carrera GT these sound mega the noise out of the v10 just unreal 360 Challenge Stradale a couple of old Rolls Royces a VW camper that's modified hey we even got a little over tucked in there to reveal a this lineup split-window Corvette learns about those during my tour in America split window that you have down the back then we've got the Gotti Sentra we've actually got another veto advantage cigar tow the van Grand Sport there another Grand Sport think over the other side also Grand Sport this is where I'm trying to learn the differences this is I'm sorry when Omashu full carbon bodied missile are two more Veyrons it just continues over this is really nice in the light blue with the dark blue exposed carbon that might be one of the legend editions in fact ah Mia Constantini that's one of the legend as well and then this Wow okay let's continue in here seeing what I'm seeing laferrari SLR Enzo yeah let's go check it out I'm going to have to give you a dubbed voiceover because we had some rather loud music playing inside the dome but feast your eyes over this hypercar lineup starting with the laferrari a well known car behind it the Sheeran the Huayra roadster then we've got a golf livery on the center of Ford GT the Vice act package on the Porsche 918 Spyder and SLR there's a 911 turbo behind but look at all of the cars that are around this hall as well starting with the Enzo a turbo s the Aston Martin Vanquish is a got oval ante a Ferrari Superamerica BMW m1 another 918 spyder a Ferrari f12 TDF this is a BRABUS bullet with a v12 specially apart-er and f40 another vanquish nagato the coupe a this time and our special a the Porsche 911 our Ferrari 550 barqueta Avro 509 GTO then one of 25 of the MS OHS the flip paint over the exposed carbon fibre really nice car another f12 TDF a blue gt2 RS and another Porsche 911 but look at this view as well the Huayra roadster a work of art the centre right behind it the Ford GT all of these insane cars on display here inside the hall but that is not all let's continue down where the line starts on this side with the BMW z8 next to that we're gonna have the Ferrari f355 we've got a 488 pista we've got an 8 12 superfast we've got a 360 moderner and then we've got a very nice blue Alfa Romeo 8c over to the other side this is the GTX 1 the convertible version of the 2005 Ford GT a Ferrari SAR pata one of only 80 mclaren 675lt Porsche 911 speedster Lamborghini Aventador S another Ferrari special a a 355 Spyder and then this 675lt Spyder actually a significant one to me because of the color scheme the dual tone blue that this car has actually inspired me to the dual tone blue that you see on the center so there's lower blue carbon part but the first time I saw this car about three years ago over in Dubai and I thought at the time my future p15 as it was known by its code name could be at a color scheme like that we've got another speciality though at EDF then ask the Martin Vantage GT 12 next to a 599 GTO and a singer Porsche 911 as well at the end of this side stunning thing but that is not all as well we've got more to see the likes of the Ferrari f40 Diablo se 30 in the viola one of my favorite cars the Ferrari f50 we've got a few Porsches as well and also a Spiker c8 Spyder an unusual thing too but that whole is just incredible the lineup is spectacular the Sun is just setting in the background but we still have a lot more to see including those two Apollo II's the de Tomaso p72 is also over there as is the new Aston Martin DBS their new SUV but have a look here the three planets X on their stand where on the right we have the yes go in the center the orange car is the one of one and over towards the left we have the Ruggero but this YESCO is very much doing a tour of the globe a full world tour in fact this is the very same car that I filmed with company found a Christian von Koenigsegg at the factory in angle home Sweden ahead of it even being presented to the world we then saw it again in Geneva at the Motor Show when it was fully launched I've even followed it over to New York to the New York International Auto Show I think the cars also been further around the USA it's been over to Hong Kong and now it is here in Saudi Arabia at the Riyadh car show so the Yasko is pretty mind-boggling when it comes to the numbers it blows every I guess previous performance metric that was understandable out of the water it follows on from the Agera RS 125 units all already spoken for it costs quite a few million as you can imagine but just look at the design the aero basis this is the track focused version the non track version is potentially going to be capable of 300 miles per hour but look at that splitter around the front the flicks you have at the side and check out this double layer boomerang rear wing the way that it's mounted from those support fins that go through almost towards the roof of the car itself and the aggression and the design from Koenigsegg previous successful models I love the ASCO it is a people proper poster car then in the middle here we have the one of one based on the clinics Agatha Gera the previous model to the rig era and the YESCO they made three one of ones each of which had something different and unique about the literally one of ones are owing certain features from the one to one some of the parts that go into the design and exterior the engine and the power out of it some of the visual elements and the aerodynamic aggression for example having the triple canards around the front various features about each one and I think this was the Geneva show car when they launched the one of one as well the next to that of course we have the rig era and the spec of this is very nice it's a really dark blue almost yeah I think always a slight purple tint of a very dark blue with that bright interior looks stunning the high hybrid current exactly comfortable Grand Tour if you can ever call it that of a hyper car next to the most brutal example of a hyper car that you could find it as well now the Sun has slightly disappeared but the fun is not over let's head further down to go and see some of the other cars that are lurking and there's a lot still in the paddocks and in the car parks that I've not even begun to show you guys at this stage this event is just loaded with special cars we've got a flying car the Powell V from the Netherlands yes flying car you heard me correctly next to that the Aston Martin DBS the first time I'm ever taking a look at this then it's a launch event with the car here hopefully in the future we will be able to check it out in full detail but there it is Austin's new SUV but over this way are two of the cars that we are coming to see the employees of De Tomaso p72 there are some other nice cars around also BRABUS over to the left with the 300sl Gullwing next to the white star g-wagon so let's check these out this car then well in fact both of these for two I ease but this is one of the production cars named the golden dragon just look at the flip paint in fact there's painted over exposed carbon so you've got that chameleon flip painter with the purples through to the bronzes the oranges by a famous owner mr. ml water speck just taken delivery of it and now it's presented here look at all the details of this thing though it's brutal it's got a six point three liter naturally aspirated v12 look at that exhaust tailpipe system that it's got going on there at the back this gigantic spoiler the way it's mounted with the fin over towards the roofline but also some support struts and how open and visually you can see all of the mechanicals going through to the back there and of course some very very wide rear tires but this thing well if you've ever heard one sounds truly bonkers it is an insane insane thing the Apollo AE and of course here we have two ie stands for intense sir amok Sione and I can bed if you're driving in one of these intense emotion is exactly what you're going to be feeling the Saturn black one the super stealthy look with the gold wheels over on the other side perhaps more of a Batmobile less finish but that that is just sheer out there bonkers and absolutely crazy to be honest nothing in person I wasn't expecting to see it but here it is the ie the MLA e the golden dragon and it looks incredible now if we come through this way next to that of course the de Tomaso p7 to to we saw this at the Goodwood Festival of Speed presented and I think pretty much almost instantly sold out not what anybody was expecting de Tomaso to present at all with the car but it's a thing that harks back to a golden era of motoring some very very special designed cars back at the time and well it's a thing of beauty a very elegant as well on the interior of the car overall so a really nice thing to be able to see with the red and gold in the background by the way you might just be able to see people here the Pagani Huayra roadster that is going to be parking next to what I think is the choir earth Rhodes the BC yes the two cars are shuffling around to be lined up on the stand here we are of course at the very start of the event but as always for guys I mean how many Pagani's have we seen today this this just continues apologies better look at the normal wire a-b see here the coupe a the Gullwing door cast doors that open literally straight upwards as opposed to the new roadster that was also presented but the verbals of the twin-turbo stick to the two v12 said the cars shuffle around I think we might be in four more to arrive judging by the number of spaces they're actually here on the Pagani stand as well there are cars arriving from all corners of this event one of the Ferraris special projects cars just there and this currently being escorted the rig never sneak peek ov is the vision at twenty thirty car the idea here in Saudi Arabia is to look towards 2013 vision 2030 a time when the country can be less oil dependent and this for example has been presented at this show is an example of what that might be an all-electric vehicle 500 horsepower 560 Newton meters of torque to electric motors doors that open with two parts as well from gfg the designers of the kangaroo and it's just pulling silently past all these at the moment British registrations as well that's a very very cool being out here it has however got significantly colder I am now wearing a sweater and that's a little bit chilly I'm not going to lie for the evening but there's a lot going on I can also see thattaway - this is the inside of the VIP lounge that's the sp3 JC by the way there are two of those one left hand drive one right hand drive but we are surrounded by countless millions of special classic cars from the proper old-timers for the likes of the estable that take to the Ferraris the Ferrari race cars tens I can't tell you what absolutely everything is in here to California over there it's the be recognizable there is spectacular works automotive art in here way back there old old Ferrari I think was that a 250 LM just over the back there I'm not even sure precisely but oh there's a mirror just tucked in just today almost didn't spot it because having come from around the world this global scale event in fact I'm just gonna breeze you around this little display in other German Korea in California there I mean this is just this is just same miss Elaina two three four sure somebody can correct in the comments exactly what we're looking at but you just don't see these cars know the history what they all represent 275 competence the only I think maybe I'm not even sure sighs all that we've got an F Sadie's AMG Petronas f-104 T is an f40 tucked down there this really is one of the most insane high naps I've ever seen over here now at the Pagani stand we have the Zonda HP barqueta HP of course after horacio pagani three bar cutters effectively the final zondas to be made because the Zonda came before the launch of the original hire of which there are 100 Goulding's for this I think it looks really cool it has that low slung low cut windscreen we've seen it at Geneva we've seen it at Pebble Beach and now we're seeing it here at the Riyadh car show in Saudi Arabia there is actually something I hadn't realized earlier about the Bugattis that are plucked up here and that is that we have five of the different six legend editions that's actually the Vermeil at the back that's the Costantini this is the Ettore Bugatti with the chrome and the blue carbon that is the Rembrandt Bugatti and that is the jean bugatti and then we have the very lovely v12 Vantage cigars I think only made around 65 of those in total so to have two of them here is very very cool that p1 in full exposed carbon is one of the carbon series cars they're only five of those in total as well out of the entire 375 run at the p1 we basically have a selection of some of the rarest cars at the back the turquoise Murcielago is a 40th anniversary edition Alex the cars being cleaned down and tidied up here at the moment of course we briefly touched earlier on the sandy song Bugatti the one hundred and tenth anniversary car that they made of the Chiron with this well exposed carbon and paintwork that matches the same optics I always think it's look stunning I love the bugatti chiron and this is a very very nice example of it sitting next our next to its predecessor of course in the form of the Veyron Wow look at that look at the colours of this and the night lights as well you couldn't really see the navy blue of the paintwork earlier but now really really nice a paintwork of course exposed carbon obviously exposed carbon this is this is a cool sign of my Center next to this Center would look stunning together actually a really cool photo sadly lots happened now but maybe next year who knows anyway Wow look at eyeliner look at all of these cars this this whole event and I mean look at look at all this as well the G wagons and defenders and yes 6x6 and yes my back handily what is going on the variety of cars the whole lineup is mega it's another vanquish Nagato there is that a repeat am are next to it that is PJM are I mean it's just it's just endless epic cars as far as the eyes can see and you can hear the background noise as well so a really really cool event and of course some promotion as well of division 2013 looking towards the future increasing tourism increasing other industries out here as a guest of riad season to experience the car show elements of today and I mean this is probably the craziest lineup of hypercars I mean that I've ever seen at any event probably anywhere in the world ever up there top of the list I mean although II's Koenigsegg ESCO and every other hyper car everything Wow what a first day where there's gonna be a lot more to come a lot more of what's going on I cannot wait for the rest of us thank you very much watching thank think always a slight purple tint of a very dark blue with that bright interior looks stunning the high hybrid current exactly comfortable Grand Tour if you can ever call it that of a hyper car next to the most brutal example of a hyper car that you could find it as well now the Sun has slightly disappeared but the fun is not over let's head further down to go and see some of the other cars that are lurking and there's a lot still in the paddocks and in the car parks that I've not even begun to show you guys at this stage this event is just loaded with special cars we've got a flying car the Powell V from the Netherlands yes flying car you heard me correctly next to that the Aston Martin DBS the first time I'm ever taking a look at this then it's a launch event with the car here hopefully in the future we will be able to check it out in full detail but there it is Austin's new SUV but over this way are two of the cars that we are coming to see the employees of De Tomaso p72 there are some other nice cars around also BRABUS over to the left with the 300sl Gullwing next to the white star g-wagon so let's check these out this car then well in fact both of these for two I ease but this is one of the production cars named the golden dragon just look at the flip paint in fact there's painted over exposed carbon so you've got that chameleon flip painter with the purples through to the bronzes the oranges by a famous owner mr. ml water speck just taken delivery of it and now it's presented here look at all the details of this thing though it's brutal it's got a six point three liter naturally aspirated v12 look at that exhaust tailpipe system that it's got going on there at the back this gigantic spoiler the way it's mounted with the fin over towards the roofline but also some support struts and how open and visually you can see all of the mechanicals going through to the back there and of course some very very wide rear tires but this thing well if you've ever heard one sounds truly bonkers it is an insane insane thing the Apollo AE and of course here we have two ie stands for intense sir amok Sione and I can bed if you're driving in one of these intense emotion is exactly what you're going to be feeling the Saturn black one the super stealthy look with the gold wheels over on the other side perhaps more of a Batmobile less finish but that that is just sheer out there bonkers and absolutely crazy to be honest nothing in person I wasn't expecting to see it but here it is the ie the MLA e the golden dragon and it looks incredible now if we come through this way next to that of course the de Tomaso p7 to to we saw this at the Goodwood Festival of Speed presented and I think pretty much almost instantly sold out not what anybody was expecting de Tomaso to present at all with the car but it's a thing that harks back to a golden era of motoring some very very special designed cars back at the time and well it's a thing of beauty a very elegant as well on the interior of the car overall so a really nice thing to be able to see with the red and gold in the background by the way you might just be able to see people here the Pagani Huayra roadster that is going to be parking next to what I think is the choir earth Rhodes the BC yes the two cars are shuffling around to be lined up on the stand here we are of course at the very start of the event but as always for guys I mean how many Pagani's have we seen today this this just continues apologies better look at the normal wire a-b see here the coupe a the Gullwing door cast doors that open literally straight upwards as opposed to the new roadster that was also presented but the verbals of the twin-turbo stick to the two v12 said the cars shuffle around I think we might be in four more to arrive judging by the number of spaces they're actually here on the Pagani stand as well there are cars arriving from all corners of this event one of the Ferraris special projects cars just there and this currently being escorted the rig never sneak peek ov is the vision at twenty thirty car the idea here in Saudi Arabia is to look towards 2013 vision 2030 a time when the country can be less oil dependent and this for example has been presented at this show is an example of what that might be an all-electric vehicle 500 horsepower 560 Newton meters of torque to electric motors doors that open with two parts as well from gfg the designers of the kangaroo and it's just pulling silently past all these at the moment British registrations as well that's a very very cool being out here it has however got significantly colder I am now wearing a sweater and that's a little bit chilly I'm not going to lie for the evening but there's a lot going on I can also see thattaway - this is the inside of the VIP lounge that's the sp3 JC by the way there are two of those one left hand drive one right hand drive but we are surrounded by countless millions of special classic cars from the proper old-timers for the likes of the estable that take to the Ferraris the Ferrari race cars tens I can't tell you what absolutely everything is in here to California over there it's the be recognizable there is spectacular works automotive art in here way back there old old Ferrari I think was that a 250 LM just over the back there I'm not even sure precisely but oh there's a mirror just tucked in just today almost didn't spot it because having come from around the world this global scale event in fact I'm just gonna breeze you around this little display in other German Korea in California there I mean this is just this is just same miss Elaina two three four sure somebody can correct in the comments exactly what we're looking at but you just don't see these cars know the history what they all represent 275 competence the only I think maybe I'm not even sure sighs all that we've got an F Sadie's AMG Petronas f-104 T is an f40 tucked down there this really is one of the most insane high naps I've ever seen over here now at the Pagani stand we have the Zonda HP barqueta HP of course after horacio pagani three bar cutters effectively the final zondas to be made because the Zonda came before the launch of the original hire of which there are 100 Goulding's for this I think it looks really cool it has that low slung low cut windscreen we've seen it at Geneva we've seen it at Pebble Beach and now we're seeing it here at the Riyadh car show in Saudi Arabia there is actually something I hadn't realized earlier about the Bugattis that are plucked up here and that is that we have five of the different six legend editions that's actually the Vermeil at the back that's the Costantini this is the Ettore Bugatti with the chrome and the blue carbon that is the Rembrandt Bugatti and that is the jean bugatti and then we have the very lovely v12 Vantage cigars I think only made around 65 of those in total so to have two of them here is very very cool that p1 in full exposed carbon is one of the carbon series cars they're only five of those in total as well out of the entire 375 run at the p1 we basically have a selection of some of the rarest cars at the back the turquoise Murcielago is a 40th anniversary edition Alex the cars being cleaned down and tidied up here at the moment of course we briefly touched earlier on the sandy song Bugatti the one hundred and tenth anniversary car that they made of the Chiron with this well exposed carbon and paintwork that matches the same optics I always think it's look stunning I love the bugatti chiron and this is a very very nice example of it sitting next our next to its predecessor of course in the form of the Veyron Wow look at that look at the colours of this and the night lights as well you couldn't really see the navy blue of the paintwork earlier but now really really nice a paintwork of course exposed carbon obviously exposed carbon this is this is a cool sign of my Center next to this Center would look stunning together actually a really cool photo sadly lots happened now but maybe next year who knows anyway Wow look at eyeliner look at all of these cars this this whole event and I mean look at look at all this as well the G wagons and defenders and yes 6x6 and yes my back handily what is going on the variety of cars the whole lineup is mega it's another vanquish Nagato there is that a repeat am are next to it that is PJM are I mean it's just it's just endless epic cars as far as the eyes can see and you can hear the background noise as well so a really really cool event and of course some promotion as well of division 2013 looking towards the future increasing tourism increasing other industries out here as a guest of riad season to experience the car show elements of today and I mean this is probably the craziest lineup of hypercars I mean that I've ever seen at any event probably anywhere in the world ever up there top of the list I mean although II's Koenigsegg ESCO and every other hyper car everything Wow what a first day where there's gonna be a lot more to come a lot more of what's going on I cannot wait for the rest of us thank you very much watching thank
