**DIY Seed Packet Garland**

I'm going to show you guys my latest DIY right here and I'll walk you through where my mind went. I was definitely thinking about taking like a hole punch and punching a hole on both ends of the top part of the packets and then as simple as that is the next step is just taking twine and then feeding each little packet into the string. Make your string however long you want it to be, you could even do like a double layer of banners. You could do one banner um on the top and then hang a banner a little bit lower beneath it and that would be cute as well.

I think I'm going to style this in my entryway, I think it will look really pretty there but you could also style this you know in your fireplace mantel or just anywhere that you would want to hang a banner and these packets could also look really cute maybe somehow styled in a spring tear tray. Definitely think about it from that standpoint and if you wanted to you could even get like packets of these flowers that only match like your colors, I really did contemplate only getting yellow and white flower packets you know just kind of like make it pop but I thought it would be fun for you guys to kind of see a variety of colorful seed packets.

**Birdhouses from Dollar Tree**

The next DIY which I already know turned out cute because I've already filmed it and that is the birdhouses from dollar tree. They're in the crafter square section, they come completely raw so they come completely raw. You can just paint them any which way you want, and I was actually also inspired by another picture on pinterest I saw this and I thought oh my gosh I love this I can definitely do this with the dollar tree ones from dollar tree. So I picked up five and the fun part honestly was deciding the colors.

I will say that in my experience in the past with painting um definitely go get you some paints from hobby lobby or michael's they when they're on sale they're almost just as cheap if not actually cheaper now than dollar tree like they'll end up being like a dollar and 10 cents um and you can get a ton of gorgeous colors. Um but as I was painting these I found that the paint just really gripped onto this wood so well I actually could have done two coats but I didn't I just did one because I really liked kind of making it look a little bit more you know faded I guess in some areas.

And then um I chose colors that worked well with my aesthetic and then I painted like the tops and the base white and then I did a little aged look whenever I do diys I tend to want to skip anything to make it look aged because I just honestly I just don't know how to do it but I thought you know what let me do it with some black paint and then I changed my mind immediately and thought let me do it with some dark brown paint. I thought black would have been a little bit too harsh with the colors I was going for.

I just tried to be like you know really loose with my wrist as I was kind of like brushing the brown spots all around like the edges of the birdhouses just to make them look you know like they've been around for for a little bit and then you can just display them however you want. Of course, I loved the photo where they had them propped on the candlesticks um so I styled some I styled it at first on my pie safe and then I knew immediately that they would work very well in my fireplace mantel because I already have candle holders there.

Because I have candles on top of them and I didn't mean to do this but I had the exact amount of birdhouses to my candlesticks um I just knew like when I was buying the birdhouses at dollar tree let me just go with five I didn't remember how many candle holders I had but I just thought if I have less or more I can just put them you know on my fireplace ledge kind of but it worked out perfectly and they look so cute and it just blows me away that it was dollar tree like how spring is it right to like decorate with little birdhouses so cute. Of course, you can keep on going you can maybe add some moss add you know like all kinds of little things maybe build a little like fairy thing with all these birdhouses so I'm sure maybe like you're getting some ideas of your own but I definitely love how they look with my style on those candlestick holders.

kind of see if it's as loud to me as it is to you but i love today's haul because i'm gonna show you guys two really cute spring diys well one i actually haven't done yet but i know it's gonna be cute but anyways so let's go ahead and jump in i'll show you guys what i got um so i did pick up some little bows this one you're actually gonna see in an upcoming video because i'm going to use these little curly ribbons for a spring diy so i got that i actually wanted the green in this form but i couldn't find the right green shade it was only in this little pack so i got it and then i got this one for the yellow but then you can also see all the other colors you get as well so again you'll see that soon and then i found these little mini bows which i thought were so cute and they had so many colors to choose from as well i think there were there was i don't know i thought i got another pack maybe i didn't let me just yeah i thought i got another pack maybe it's in my other stash um but there there were a lot of like shades to choose from i really love this one with the orange and the yellow so pretty and then you could definitely craft with these and turn them into paper clips if you wanted to but obviously very cute for gift giving especially for like small little you know packages so i found those and then i picked up some hang on i want to kind of show that one last let me show you guys this right here so it's just a display easel and they sell these exact ones actually they look just like this at hobby lobby but they sell them at dollar tree and they have different sizes to choose from they're all the same price um but i did get the small ones and i'll insert a clip now so you guys can kind of see why i got this i bought these really beautiful like vintage or victorian prints of these like ladies dressed in their um beautiful victorian dresses and at first i thought i was going to put them on the wall in my library but there wasn't the right wall space that i wanted for them so i decided to just display them in my bookshelf so you'll see and what i love about this too is that you can actually bend the easel and it does change honestly the game of how tall um or lean back your picture will display so if you want to sit upright basically more just kind of bend it in all right then i found this cute little treat i've hauled it before i just really like the packaging their little jelly what are these called my god jelly beans is that right why did the name just yes jelly beans the name just escaped me um it is orange flavored which is really cute i love how it just you know looks like a carrot this is going to be cute in easter basket especially for you know the pre-teens teenagers i think that's a cute one in my opinion the hand made easter cards which i always like i always wait for dollar tree to put these out so here's what i picked up and by the way i did not get all the ones they had they had so many and then the little blue truck could definitely craft with these as well i like the color combinations that they're doing here and i love that they're giving us different envelope colors um here's this one which is gorgeous i love the ribbon detail in the center and the baby pink envelope on that okay this one's hilarious okay sir all right you just having a time and then this one has a green envelope this one's a pretty so my opinion that i think would be stunning to craft with or journal with so love that i'll show you guys the inside too and then this one it's very different from the collection last year you definitely have to go back and watch my older videos to see um but oh i love this one too the little polka dots always gets me and then i found this one i feel like i need to go back and watch last year's collection listen i still have it somewhere up in my craft room these for some reason i just i can't ever get rid of them um but i do feel like i definitely think i liked last year's 2021 better than 2022 but they're still cute oh this one has a little scallop trim at the top yeah so you could definitely deconstruct with these and make you know your own card off of the card kind of thing the little chick coming out of the egg is really cute and then he is risen i love the color combos the gold with this with the blue and pink very nice and yeah that's it and like i said there were so many more to choose from i mean look look how many i got on this trip i'll probably get the rest honestly in the next trip i don't know why i do that because in the end i'm just gonna own them all anyone else do that where you kind of like you see something you know you're just gonna get the rest of them but you do it later as i'm doing it later makes it different really you know you're ready all right then um they also put out the window clinks however i only found four and i know dollar tree does a bunch of these so maybe they're not fully stocked yet at my dollar trees and i love using these to like craft with you can journal with them i'm getting into journaling lately so i've been doing it off camera but i've been like slowly getting into um using a composition notebook as a journal and these would work really well some of the images are probably really big but i could definitely cut it and like put one half on one page and the other half on the other next up i found something very exciting i've never seen this before at my dollar tree and they are the galvanized metal trays pretty random they're in the crafter square section with all the you know diy material i want to show you guys there were two cutouts on the side a star and then just a regular cut out this one i think would be a great pick up for fourth of july that's just like when i think stars it's like you know it's like this is where my mind goes but it's really cute or if you're gonna do some type of like um star themed party galaxy party or something this could be cute for that too and then of course just diy to your heart's content and i know dollar tree i know they're probably gonna put out more different cutouts probably a heart you know what i mean but i haven't seen that yet just these two and then before we get into the diys i'm gonna share with you that i think are gonna be so freaking adorable um i found a jackpot of new la colors lip glosses actually i really love la colors at dollar tree but i have to admit sometimes i confuse them with la girl because aren't they two completely different company um but anyways i don't know why why i mentioned that so i need to sort these out because yeah they're all different they have like a roll-on lip gloss a jelly balm that really like struck my attention so let me just grab all of the jelly bombs real quick um they had a whole like display of this stuff and i didn't even get half of it i only got three rows of things whereas they had like 10 rows they had eye shadow mascara like the full thing of this new collection but these are the jelly bombs right here and look how many they have like per row so this is the coconut which this one i'm actually gonna try on camera here in a second so we're gonna try the coconut and then we have watermelon so preteen teens just anybody you think would love this these would be cute in easter basket because the colors are very pretty very vibrant springy this one is strawberry and the packaging is really cute and unique i don't think i've seen anything quite like it here's vanilla i want to try i want to try all of them but today i'm just going to try coconut i grabbed two coconuts i didn't realize that i did that but that's okay and then grape all right so let's try let's try the coconut let's see jelly balm what about oh that is cute it's like a little frosted lid oh my gosh it's actually the color the lip gloss is the color of the container or the lip balm it is it like blue no it's clear i mean there's a slight i mean you can't really see it like you really wouldn't be able to see it anyways there's like a slight tent that was my vein i think well is it am i getting coconut no not really to be honest but it feels really good the product feels really good very moisturized so anyways there's that i don't know if i should try the other ones on camera i don't know let me think about let me just put that there um and then here's this little set which is their cream gel blush so it's i'm not gonna try that on camera because i already have my makeup on but with this one there was only four to the collection and they are all blushes so i'll show you guys so cute i love all the colors very nice uh this one's adorned um mesmerizing i don't know why i just made that face i don't know uh tainted love that one's really bright and then admirable the next set is actually their lip gloss they're like roll-ons they definitely remind me of the 80s and 90s and like what i used to have as a kid and there's five in this collection so we have strawberry the orange is orange i'm actually going to try all of these like why not and then this one is watermelon so cute so again preteen teen or just whoever easter basket this one is coconut which i find this very interesting and then this one is grape the coconut is just i don't know that i've ever seen coconut as like lip balms before not with like the dollar tree stuff so this is like really the money uh purple is great i got all these on my oh yeah yeah i can smell the grape i don't know why i'm adding but here we are definitely smell the grape i just can't smell the coconut there's maybe just not enough coconut in there product the orange one i'm excited about please please be orangy whoa that was really tight oh my god oh my god okay i just feel like wanda from living color hey really did contemplate only getting yellow and white flower packets you know just kind of like make it pop but i thought it would be fun for you guys to kind of see a variety of colorful seed packets the next diy which i already know turned out cute because i've already filmed it and that is the birdhouses from dollar tree they're in the crafter square section they come completely raw so they come completely raw you can just paint them any which way you want and i was actually also inspired by another picture on pinterest i saw this and i thought oh my gosh i love this i can definitely do this with the dollar tree ones from dollar tree so i picked up five and the fun part honestly was deciding the colors i will say that in my experience in the past with painting um definitely go get you some paints from hobby lobby or michael's they when they're on sale they're almost just as cheap if not actually cheaper now than dollar tree like they'll end up being like a dollar and 10 cents um and you can get a ton of gorgeous colors um but as i was painting these i found that the paint just really gripped onto this wood so well i actually could have done two coats but i didn't i just did one because i really liked kind of making it look a little bit more you know faded i guess in some areas and then um i chose colors that worked well with my aesthetic and then i painted like the tops and the base white and then i did a little aged look whenever i do diys i tend to want to skip anything to make it look aged because i just honestly i just don't know how to do it but i thought you know what let me do it with some black paint and then i changed my mind immediately and thought let me do it with some dark brown paint i thought black would have been a little bit too harsh with the colors i was going for and i just tried to be like you know really loose with my wrist as i was kind of like brushing the brown spots all around like the edges of the birdhouses just to make them look you know like they've been around for for a little bit and then you can just display them however you want of course i loved the photo where they had them propped on the candlesticks um so i styled some i styled it at first on my pie safe and then i knew immediately that they would work very well in my fireplace mantel because i already have candle holders there because i have candles on top of them and i didn't mean to do this but i had the exact amount of birdhouses to my candlesticks um i just knew like when i was buying the birdhouses at dollar tree let me just go with five i didn't remember how many candle holders i had but i just thought if i have less or more i can just put them you know on my fireplace ledge kind of but it worked out perfectly and they look so cute and it just blows me away that it was dollar tree like how spring is it right to like decorate with little birdhouses so cute of course you can keep on going you can maybe add some moss add you know like all kinds of little things maybe build a little like fairy thing with all these birdhouses so i'm sure maybe like you're getting some ideas of your own but i definitely love how they look with my style on those candlestick holders so pretty i love them and honestly it makes me want to do so many more um but anyways that's it for today's video i hope you guys enjoyed the mini haul and the diy ideas and
